Aly cocked her gun, dropping her hand to her side. "Hmmmm…" She said, scanning the streets around her. It was night, and only a few light posts lit the street. She heard a muffled spitting noise, slowly becoming aware of what would come. She raised her gun, and crouched her knees. As the zombie came hurling out, she shot it, right in the forehead. It dropped dead.

"Damn bitches..Think they can get to me.." Aly mumbled. "Not so easy doing this alone." She walked casually, pulling up the back of her converse shoe. She hated being around here alone. It was hard. She fixed the knife into her shoe for easy access if a zombie were to get too close to her. She knew she had to keep her supplies on the low; she couldn't carry much in the black leather bag she had. She fixed the black beanie around her eyes, stepping into a puddle, but not minding. She wondered if she was the only one out here.

"Hello?" Aly called out. Her accent was british. She was 14 years old; too young to do this alone. "Is anybody here?" She shouted. She was scared, and getting worse by the minute. She wanted someone to roam with; even better, a team. But being the 14 year old she was, she was timid.

She knew something was behind her. She whirled around, gun in between both hands, and shot the zombie dead. She spun back around and began on her way. "Errrrrg." She grunted.

Ethan took a deep, breath.

"I hate this so much..." He sighed. He looked at the edge of the roof he was on. He looked over the side at the fire escape on the adjacent building. "Might as well get it over with."

He grabbed his army style duffle bag off the floor of the roof. He had some valuable survival items. And When the time came the bag also held his M4, that he "Saved" from the police station. As well as his M4 he managed to get his hands on a kevlar vest, and a CB radio. Compliments Of LA SWAT. Wtih a grunt he tossed the back over and it landed with a thud on one of the levels of the green bar fire escape. He backed up several feet and got to a runnig start. He exhaled sharply as he pushed off the ledge and fell to the gorund below.

"Shit misjudged it." His body collided with one of the lower levels of the fire escape. His arms wrapped themselves onto the railing. for a while He stood there, swinging fifty feet above the ground. He sighed. "I don't know whats worse, this or those things..." He sighed once more and began shifting his wait and swinging his legs. When he got a good movement going, he let go of the railing and dropped to a lower level. "Wish I had some company..." He began climbing the stairs to retrieve his bag. One hand on the Crowbar strapped to his back.

Joan quickly plodded through the building foundation, her combat boot's rubber softly clomping against the ground. She gripped her pistol tightly, pressing her back to the cold cement that made up the foundation of the foundation. She closed her tired eyes, savoring the feel. But she wasd doing more than listening. Her breathing stopped, and she listened to the world around her. She heard nothing. No moaning, no groaning, no shuffling of feet. She hesitantly opened her eyes, and turned the corner, turning down the stairwell, her footstep's pace increasing as she hurried down the stairs.

She again, stopped at the bottom of the stairs pressing her back to the cold stone, before peaking around the corner. She jolted around the corner swiftly, imitating the clearing proceedures that she had seen her husband doing once or twice. Her pistol went from one corner of the room, watching for movement. Seeing none, she moved on, jogging mildly with her pistol in one hand, knife in her other. She proceeded through a few more rooms, before she came to more stairs. She pushed herself down the stairs, her feet smashing into the ground as she hit the bottom foloor. She made her way to the entrance of the building, pushing open the broken doors slowly. Her hand poked around the corner, and she swiftly made her way towards a car. She pressed her back to the steel of the car, and again closed her eyes, again listening to the world around her. In the distance, she her the soft moan of zombies. She knew the sound well. Many times she would try to rest, the relentless sound would drone on and make her uneasy.

Her eyes shot wide as she heard something she never heard.
Gunshots. And then a voice.

She tighened the grip on her gun, and pushed herself. She frowned at the thought of someone else out here by themself. But judging by the sounds, the voice was in rather close proximity. She instictively began to head for it, rolling her feet as she ran. She moved through a small building, stopping inside....She looked quietly out the glass inside. A smaller girl..she looked extremely young, in fact, was out in the middle of the street. She kept quiet for a while, before the the girl called out for someone. She watched the girl move on her way. She moved through the building behind her, quietly. She then turned, and rasped her knuckles hard on the doorway, trying to get her attention. She didn't want to vocalize....

Ethan reached his dark green pack and chuckled. "There you are." Suddenly he heard a quick pop. "nine milimeter." He mumbled to himself, as his arm grabbed hold of the bag and threw it over his shoulder. His head turned in the direction of the gun shot. "Maybe a cop..." He quickly jogged up the fire escape onto the building roof. He plopped his bag down and opened it up. He moved his hand threw cans of beans and vegetables. His hand felt for the shape of the pair of binoculars he had got from a hunting shop. (Un fortunately it was the only useful thing left.) His hand found it and pulled it out of the bag. He looked over the edge of the roof and pressed the binoculars against his eyes.

He searched through the empty desolate streets. Passed over car after car, corpse after corpse. It would have been hard to see if not for the binosular's night vision. Suddenly his eyes caught some movement. Years of playing video games had made his eyes very sensitive to movement, a trait which saved his life more than once. A girl was running off down the streets, a black handgun in her hand. "Glock semi automatic I assume." He mumbled to himself. He looked ahead of her, the street was clear, save for a few abandoned vehicles. Then again something moved, Another body was moving through the buildings.

"what's going on?" he thought he kept his binoculars focused on the two moving bodies, his other arm was feeling insode his bag. A moment later he pulled out the black metal polymer M4 carbine with a silencer attached. He put his binoculars away and set up the rifle on the ledge, looking through the optical scope. He adjusted the magnification to get a closer look. The body in the buildings stopped moving.

"Don't want to miss this oppertunity. Why don't I get there attention?" He breathed steadily as he placed the butt of the gun into his shoulder.
He fired a silent shot near the girl on the street. The bullet landed in the pavement five feet infront of her.

Aly screamed. "HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE HELL?!" She said, looking up and around to the things around her. Thats when she caught Joan's eye. "Hey! You over there! Get out here!" She said, pausing for a stop. A zombie came up from behind her, grabbed her shoulder. Aly quickly reacted by grabbing the knife out of her shoe and stabbing it, until it fell.

"Damn." She sighed, catching the outline of another figure. Were there possibly more then 2 people out here? Aly shot next to the figure so that it wouldn't hurt it. It landed right in front of Ethan. "Get down here." Aly called out, loud.

Aly paused, waiting for the two figures to emerge themselves from the dark. One of the street lights flickered off, and the night sky became darker. "Urgh." She mumbled. She hated being out here. But this would be the rest of her life, pretty much.

"If you don't get down here faster then I can say zombie, I'm assuming your zombies, and I'm going to shoot you." Aly said, calmly.

Joan looked at the girl whom called out to her to come over to her. Joan immideately shook her head no, and pointed to her own location, before swinging her arm over. She didn't want to be out in the middle of a the street, with no cover, in plain view of any zombies. Much less with a little girl. She looked at the girl fiercely. But it seemed her efforts were in vain, as the girl stayed in her place, and continued stand there like a dolt.

Suddenly, the soil jumped around the girl. High. As if she had been shot at. The soft thump of a silencer must've been ringing somewhere. But the girl did something more drastic....
"Get down here." the girl yelled.

Joan could only press her finger to her mouth agressively, trying to signal for the girl to be quiet. She spoke through clenched teeth, trying herself not to fuss at the girl. She obviously didn't know better. "Do not shout!" Joan hissed, just loud enough for the girl to hear. "You will attract more!" She hoped that the girl would actually listen.

Aly shook her head. "I like these bitches." She grinned, though she walked over to Joan. She wondered. "You seem pretty uptight…" She sighed. She was out to have fun. If this was going to be serious, well she'd better off a zombie. She could either take this seriously the cautious way, or take this seriously the fun way. She'd rather have it her way.

"Look. I'm not in this to keep hiding." She sighed. Aly liked adventure. She has listened to Joan, for her voice was a lot softer. Aly knew what to do out here, she just chose to make this a little bit more fun then it comes off as. "I'm in this for the adventure."

dust flew over Ethan's face and he frowned, a little more wind and he would have had a third eye. The girl was screaming at him and he shook his head. "Idiot girl, your just going to attract more." he mumbed to himself. Looking through his scope he saw the other person obviously trying to tell her the same, apparently to no avail. He scanned farther up the street, and sure enough, a group of monsters was shuffling towards her.

"damn." He sharply breathed. "I aint going down there with the situation going to hell."

He put the girl in the middle of the streets in his sights. He exhaled slowly, and fired three rounds at her feet. Each bullet hit to the right of the first inches away from her shoes. He stood up with his gun in one hand over his head and waving a flashlight in the other.

"Well, get in here!" Joan hissed again, pulling the girl inside the building, backing them up untill they were against the wall, and away form any windows. "Listen. I don't know about you. But I'm going to survive. This is after all, survival. It's not called 'show the boys that young girls can do the same thing men do.' And if it was, I'd never sign up for it. If it was some video game, then I'd be all for it, but you're way too careless. You're hardly a woman; what do you have that makes you so sure you're going to make it out here? You can only carry so much ammo, in that little itty bitty purse of yours, or whatever you're carrying! Much less, do you know how good a knife will do you against the dead?" She stressed.

She sighed, rather annoyed at the girl. It was the zombie apocalypse - and she was alone. It was only a matter of time before a horde of twenty or so zombies showed up, and she would be.... Joan forced herself to stop the thought. "Listen, girl. I want to help you - I want you to survive this! But if you want to tease the gatekeeper of Hell, then by all means, do it elsewhere!"

Aly rolled her eyes. "I lived my whole life alone, Miss. I lived with a family of druggies and drunks, before they all got themselves infected. I don't need no damn mother figure telling me how to live my life." She said, tearing up. "If I'm destined to be infected, so be it, but I am not going to live my life being controlled by someone I don't even know." She whispered. She jerked free of Joan's grip, firing three bullets at Ethan's head. She didn't hit him though, purposely.

Aly began to walk back out into the street again. "Tell ME what to do.." Aly mumbled, shooting a zombie that came into sight dead. Aly hated being told what to do. She grew up alone, and she could fend for herself. She may come off as cocky, but inside, Aly is just another sweet girl.

Ethan ducked as the bullets whizzed past his head. He frowned once more and shook his head slowly in disdain.

"Me and this girl are going to have problems." He sighed. Not only was she screaming she was firing an unsuppresed weapon. She was going to get herself and maybe the other one killed. It doesn't matter how good a shot you are when you run out of ammo, and if you get surrounded, game over.
He didn't need his scope to see the group of zombies was getting larger at a rapid rate.

"I got no choice it seems. Maybe I can get the smart one to help me with the dumb one." He sighed as he threw his pack onto his shoulder, and his m4's slung across his back. He removed the rope from his waist and tied it to a sturdy pole. Ethan than walked over to the ledge and hopped on, his back to the drop below. "I hate being a good guy."

He jumped from the ledge and dropped several feet. He then swung and hit his feet against the wall, as he rappeled down the five story building.

Joan frowned as the girl jerked away from her, and walked back out onto the streets. "W-wait a minute!" She said softly. "You're seriously not going to...." She said, as the girl walked back out onto the streets, and fired her gun yet again. Joan's eyes shot wide, and she checked her own gun. "If you continue to do as you are, you'll be killed!" She said, worried. "Just get back in here, and maybe we can hide from the storm you just brewed!" She said, panicing. Joan really didn't want to go back out there and get her. But she knew she couldn't take on a army of walking dead, just her and her handgun...

Ethan grunted as he hit the cement. He looked over to at the two people, the girl was still firing like a crazy person.
Mean while The group of monsters was beggining to grow. One of the infected stopped in it's tracks raised it's head to the sky and let out a loud piercing shriek.
"Damn," He cursed. "I hate it when they do that."

((Yay synopsis refrence ha ha))

He crouched himself lower and began to walk quickly over to them, he made sure to stick to the shadows.

Aly grunted, and looked back to Joan. "You told me to go have my fun somewhere else." Aly scanned the street with her eyes. Zombies by the load. She grinned, and looked around her, seeing a fire escape ladder. She grabbed onto the third bar, flipping herself up to the top of the building. It was a small building, but she didn't mind.

"Maybe cheerleading wasn't such a bad idea." She grinned. She looked across the horde of zombies, grinned, and pulled out a hand grenade. She tossed it down into the middle of the what, 30 infected. Moments later, it exploded, only one zombie left remaining. She still had 9 hand grenades left.

The grenade didn't hit Ethan, nor Joan. She didn't want it to. Aly raised her handgun, shot once, and the last zombie fell dead. She still had plenty of ammo in her bag. Aly gripped onto the ladder yet again, flipping down onto her feet.

She kicked a zombie's dead side. "Yuck." She grumbled. She continued to walk down the street, but suddenly, she stopped. She pulled out her water, dropped something in it, and took a gulp.

Ethan jumped behind a parked car, A piece of shrapnel ripped its way through his leg. Luckily it was only a small piece of stray metal. It only made a laceration on the side of his leg. The cut did burn and sting alot though, he would have to disinfect it later. He grunted as he pushed himself off the ground and stood up. He heard the quick pop and noticed that the large group had been taken care of. He frowned and narrowed his brow. Now he was angry. He walked over to the body of the last zombie and looked up at the girl.

"Are you crazy!? You got some kind of death wish or something!?" Ethan glared in the direction of her eyes. "You aren't just playing with your own life anymore, do you have any idea how much noice you just made. As I stand here screaming at you, Hundreds are on their way here. The soundwave of that small explosion will echo through the city for at least twenty minutes, Every god damned infected in a thirty block radius will be on its way here! Maybe your the kind who just wants to kill as many as possible, I don't know why, maybe you've gone crazy, maybe your depressed, can't cope with humanity's loss. Or maybe its a simple mommy and daddy didn't love me enough thing. I don't give two shits what it is. Every life is more valuable than a boatload of guns in this world. Now don't go wasting yours." He turned and walked a few steps and paused. "I'm getting the hell out of here, try and find a safe spot to recover my bearings and check up on my plan's status. Your welcome to come if you want but you got to drop this suicidal sociopath act. Stop being stupid in this world, your just going to wind up dead. And you can't kill if your dead."

He shook his head slowly, and retrieved his bag.

Aly blinked. "I had a good life." She said. Thats all she could say. It felt like Aly had just been smacked in the face, ten times by each of these two people. She'd rather die then feel the feeling she was feeling at this moment. A tear dropped onto the concrete street, and Aly walked slowly back the way she'd come.

Her hands were in fists and she shook lightly. Aly was always trying to make life fun, trying to make things happier. But now, she realized, maybe this time she had to be serious. But how fun would that be? Not very. Aly sighed. She didn't know what to do.

"Is it too late to tag along?" She whispered into the cold, freezing night.

Aly was serious now. Walking quickly over to him, she didn't even make a noise. Though Aly may have come off cocky, she was big advantage to the group. She could fit through narrow passages, accurate aim. Aly stood right behind him, didn't say a word.

It was cold, real cold. But it was also 3 A.M. In the morning, it would warm up to be about 64 degrees. But now it was 29. Her breath -- almost silent breath -- shown in the cold air. She ran a hand through her hair, following behind Ethan. He came off as big, tough, and wise, but he didn't look very much older then her. How old was he? Obviously, she was 14.

She wondered about this kid -- if he was a kid at all.

"We have to try and avoid any conflict for a while, in order to be quiet. I suggest we find a place to hide out until the sun rises." He walked briskly through the alley. "I'm trying to find a fire escape to gain access to a roof top, from there I can obsereve the situation on the streets." he was growing nervous now, the shuffling noise was growing louder. Now the low moans and gurgling whines could be heard, from the sheer volume of the noise he could tell that there would be no chance if the horde found them.

"Hey," She whispered, catching the slightest shine of a ladder to a high top of an office building. She grabbed Ethan's hand, walking quickly and silently over to the ladder. "Follow," She said, stepping onto the first ledge of the ladder, climbing up quickly to the top. More and more now, he would begin to realize Aly was a good addition to the team.

She stepped onto the top of the building, a little shaky. She caught her zen and walked to the center, getting onto her knees so she would be harder to see. "You alright?" She whispered to Ethan.

Ethan followed the girl up the ladder. He was relieved she knew how to be stealthy, hopefully she could stay this way for long periods of time.
"I'm fine." He replied lowly, looking over the ledge of the building. Sure enough the streets below had begun to fill with stumbling infected. Surely if they had been caught they'd be dead already. He took out a bottle of water from his bag and tossed it to the girl.

"Try and stay hydrated, and rest up, we move in the morning." He removed the binoculars from his duffel bag and began to scan the skyline.

"I've got some water, but thanks." She said, opening it up and taking a gulp. She peered over the edge of the side with the ladder. Zombies galore. "Great.." She mumbled. "Just my cup of tea." She grinned. She can keep up for a long time. Cheerleading for so long built her up a good stamina.

She put her bag down ans rested her head on it, closing her eyes. "Need my help before I settle down?" She whispered, lifting her up head quickly. She wanted to be as big of a help as she could have.

And thats when the sharp pain in her left leg came. "Ouch..." She whispered.

She sat up. Ever since she was dropped on the concrete track field, her leg never worked as well as it could. She pulled up the leg to her skinny jeans, revealing the scar. It was pretty big too; and it looked painful. Very painful. "Don't degrade me because of my leg…" She whispered. She could be a great asset to him, and she didn't want him to judge her.

"It'll be okay. It'll heal up…"

"I'm sure it will, I'm just going to make sure it doesn't get infected." He pulled out a bottle of whiksey from his bag. "I was planning to use this for a last drink. Well this is more important. " He pours the the golden brown liquid onto her scar."It might sting, but bear with it." He finished pouring a sufficent amount onto her leg, and proceeded to tear off a piece of his shirt. He ties the torn piece of cloth over her scar and smiles reassuringly. "This should be fine for a while."

Re: [OOC] Surviving isn't so easy..

Alright, I'm dropping. Pulling random shit out of nowhere (grenades), being a one man army....This list can't get any bigger. Oh wait, yes it can. You character is a fucking fourteen year old. There is no way in hell, in a realistic RP, which in your profile you used a picture of a real emo chick whom couldn't get a hold of a good quality camera. So, I assume you want realistic. Otherwise you would've used anime. Another thing - if you're going to create an RP about survival, make it about survival. Not about killing zombies. But again, in either one, unless it was an anime RP, fourteen year olds wouldn't do very well in either.
