Jesse Holiday is an unassuming man as far as his height and build is concerned. He is muscled, do to his trade but not overly so, he is not by any means a hulking mass of muscle. His body is more akin to a coiled spring, a coiled spring with a few scars. He has dirty blonde hair cut in a rather conventional style. There is one thing about Jesse that stands out rather quickly and get's people to remember him. A large scar on his neck from when his throat was slit years ago. His attire is generally function over fashion. He feels most comfortable in the same get up he rode around in back home on Whitefall.

Personality:
Jesse has been described as a difficult person to deal with at times, extreme, impetuous, vengeful, psychotic, unhinged, unpredictable, untamed, infamous, and prone to violent outbursts and destructive rampages. That being said when he's not indulging his laundry list of character defaults he can be rather charming and relaxed. Jesse does have problems trusting people. He'll work with damn near anyone well enough but truly trusting someone, letting someone else in is not something easily done. Once done however his trust should be cherished because betraying that trust will guaran-damn-tee you for a world of hurt.

Background
Biography: Born and raised on the rim planet of Whitefall Jesse is the son of a cattle rancher. His old man never made much money but was able to put food on the table for his family. Jesse is the eldest of three brothers. The middle child, Samuel, died from a rattle snake bite when Jesse was 8. His father died two years later after being gored by one of his own steer. Jesse and the youngest brother Thomas watched the scene from only a few yards away. Some nights Jesse can still hear the sound of the bull and his father's screams. Becoming the man of the house at the tender age of 14 Jesse had the difficult task of providing for his mother and younger brother. Having no discernible skills except for getting in and out of trouble Jesse did the only thing he could think of. He began bushwhacking people from town as they stumbled in and out of bars. Back then he only had a little pocket knife. As the years went by his scores got bigger, his weapons got better and his crew went from one to a bakers dozen including his little brother Tommy. Jesse gained a rather nasty reputation as a murdering, ruthless, ambitious gang leader. At the top of Jesse's merry little band of brigands was obviously Jesse, then known as The Bastard, calling the shots, his little brother Tommy as his second and Jesse's best friend Trevor Maddock. Maddock was Jesse's best friend since they were kids and fell in with Jesse's gang naturally. Unlike Jesse though Trevor had dreams of bigger scores than robbing banks, trains and the occasional shuttle. Trevor wanted a ship of his own, to travel the stars as a space pirate. Jesse had no intention of taking the gang off world stating that keeping things small kept the heat off them. The pair had their disagreements over the years but it all culminated when Trevor plotted and executed his coup to take over. He convinced the gang to turn on Jesse save for one, Jesse's little brother. So one night Trevor put a knife in Tommy's belly while he slept before the gang dragged Jesse out into the dirt, beat him to a pulp and Trevor taking Jesse's knife and slicing his throat. The gang left Jesse for dead and took all of the gang's accumulated wealth, including Jesse and Tommy's money and bought a ship. Jesse, however, wasn't ready to die just yet and somehow managed to wake up two days later. Looking some kind of gorram zombie Jesse showed up outside of the crews new ship covered in his own blood, two days of dirt and grime and with a murderous look in his eye. He was so out of it he didn't even have a gun on him, just the knife Trevor used to slit his throat. Jesse couldn't talk do to his damage vocal cords but Trevor came out all the same. Again the gang set into Jesse, beating him down. After they got tired of stomping him into teh dirt Trevor decided to deal with Jesse for a second time but this time he opted not to kill him, jokingly saying that Jesse was too stubborn to die, maybe it was the rage, the hate that kept him breathing, who knows. Instead he sold the infamous outlaw to a penal colony. Jesse toiled away in this hellish prison for another 9 years before finally escaping by killing a few guards and staring a riot. The time spent in the prison left it's mark on Jesse whose mind twisted as a result. Jesse was never the same, he was now unpredictably dangerous, overly violent and had a strong penchant for bloody carnage. Jesse spent a long time trying to track down Trevor but never had much luck. Eventually he fell in with Capt. Walker and his crew aboard the Fairstar as a gun for hire. He's since come to listen to the Captain though does often get in trouble for his interpretations of the Captain's orders. Regardless Holiday has become a valued member of the crew and someone to rely on when theirs killing to be done.
