Nickname: Ford
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Occupation: Lawyer
Personality: William is driven by the same instinct as those that first led him to become a lawyer; a strong belief in the concept of justice and a thoroughly good heart. This is easily reflected in his personality, always willing to lend a hand, or show kindness where it's due. Recent events in his life has left a tired look in his eyes that can't be shaken by a good night's sleep, but he seems to keep his good nature despite it- remaining sure that good will prevail in the end, and that his efforts have not been in vain.
Background: William came from good stock, and for a lot of his life, that would be all that mattered. Good stock meant access to decent schooling, upper class company and prospects for a future without debilitating illness or poverty. With these tools at hand, he was able to educate himself as a lawyer, and for many years was known as an avid and uncompromising defendant of moral values. He believed in a better society, and it was this in particular that led him to pick up a dangerous case. Four men, known to be the brothers of a local crime lord, were put behind bars, awaiting execution thanks to Williams's efforts. As I'm sure you can guess, the story didn't end there.
They came for his family first, those who weren't as protected by wealth and status as his parents. His wife, his son, and a newborn daughter, all lost in the blink of an eye. William escaped the attack alive, on horseback with nothing but his clothes and his grief as company, but the assassins were as uncompromising and determined as he was-- always hot on his trail. Still on the run, still dealing with the loss of his family, William is searching for a way to be free of his pursuers, and hopes to find a way to end the crime lord's slaughter spree once and for all.
