On June 5th, 2214 a reactor hidden from the public and used to utilize Omicron rays exploded due to a cooling incident. Other than the initial explosion there wasn't much of an after effect, due to the Omicron rays it utilized it wasn't noticeably radioactive. But at the epicenter of the explosion a small undetectable shockwave of Omicron energy blasted out across the city. Most of the populace was left unaffected, but others, who had a certain genetic coding in their genes, an unpresent state of evolution, were altered. Though it started out unnoticeable, these people began to develop that could only be called powers. The government quickly detained them for their own safety, and many agreed, they were given nice homes in a government facility, free food, entertainment, and nearly anything they wanted. They were tested on, but not harshly. But over time some grew...uncontent. They felt like they could have more than what they were given, they felt as if they were better than anyone else, they felt as if the world should bow to them. The group of people soon began meeting, planning, and preparing. On the night of , September 29th, 2214 the group broke their way out, utilizing their powers to walk out the front door nearly unopposed. They quickly took the city by storm, unopposed and through surprise they set themselves above the rest, making the city theirs and taking whatever they wanted. The government, in a movement to remedy the mistake they had created, freed the other super humans and pleaded with them to help deal with the others, who had began calling their group the Coalition.
