The door seemed to open by itself. Suddenly he was inside, in Ana's bed beside her as she wrapped herself around him. color=#5959AB]"Are you alright?"[/color] Ronan asked, alarmed by her sudden actions. She could be so shy sometimes and yet at others, completely wild and unpredictable. "Did the nightmares keep you up again?" Ronan asked quietly as he brushed a strand of brown hair out of Ana's eyes. Even just waking up she looked stunning, her lips a bright red and her eyes wide and inquisitive. Ronan diverted his eyes for a second when he realized that he could see down her sleeping shirt. "I u-um, picked a job." Ronan reached into his pocket and pulled out the paper. He had already told the Master that they were going to take it and had gotten the okay to head on out as soon as Anastasia was ready.
"What do you think?" Ronan asked as he handed it over to her. A job describing trouble with a group of bandits who had cut off the water supply and were attempting to make the town pay unfair fees to use it. There was nothing that Ronan hated more than scumbags who tried to use others for their personal gain.
The head Nurse arrived moments later, shooing Julian out and telling him to bring in the Master. Juvia, the head doctor of Steel Fairy, specialized in healing and rejuvenation spells. People traveled from all over the world to beg Juvia to heal them, although she would only help those in the Steel Fairy guild. Unfortunately, Juvia claimed that she hated humans and so whenever one showed up that wasn't in real need of aid, she would shoo them away. Juvia took one look at the girl in the bed and frowned, knowing she had her work cut out for her. She began to work around the girl, only looking up when Julian returned with the Master. "I'm going to speak with the Master in private, if she wakes up, come get us." Juvia gave them one more sidelong glance before leaving, hoping this was a good idea. Julian had a reputation of using woman and she was slightly nervous to leave him alone with a sleeping girl.
Cress awoke slowly. Her torn clothing had been replaced by bandages covering nearly every surface of her skin. When Cress realized that they were gone she panicked, throwing the blanket off and giving no regard for nudity. She ripped the wires away, stumbling out of bed and to the place she spotted her clothing. Cress dug through them, pulling her key holder out and sighing in relief before collapsing to the floor once more, her keys clutched against her chest. This time she hadn't passed out, her legs had merely registered how much pain there truly was in her body and had refused to hold her up. Suddenly Cress realized she wasn't alone. Slowly half of her body turned to face the dark haired boy in the chair on the other side of the bed she had been laying in. Quickly Cress ripped the sheet off of the bed and wrapped it around her body. "Where am I?" Cress asked, her voice awfully calm and even despite the nerves she felt. "Who are you?" Her heart suddenly thumped in her chest painfully and a blush spread across her cheeks. Cress looked away, hiding her face behind a curtain of white hair. Half of her hair was white, the other side black. Cress was a holder of two sets of DNA, also known as chimerism.
