Appearance: Standing at 6 feet he is composed of both machine and flesh. It is hard to tell where man ends and machine begins. Both of his eyes are cybernetics that glow with inhuman red light set in a narrow but well defined face with highly pronounced cheekbones. Most of the left side of his face is a metal mask that is composed of a black titanium metal that is matte in it's finish seeming to absorb light then shine with it. A lean build composed of nano-machine enhanced skin intermingled with black titanium plates only enhance his almost robotic appearance. You'll never find the man out of his recon armor or without enough firepower to take down a battalion.

Abilities:
Cybernetic Threading- Microscopic threads composed of a carbon isotope are interwoven with his muscle tissue vastly increasing it's density and stress limit. This not only increases physical strength but increases the amount of wear and tear it takes to break down the muscle tissue. Which means he can stand extended periods of heavy physical combat or work before he feels muscular exhaustion.
Nano-machines- Microscopic machines float within his blood stream doing various tasks such as speeding up healing and increasing the production of adrenaline during combat.
Reinforced Skeletal System- A thin sheathing of titanium is layered over his skeletal system as well as microscopic wires interwoven in with the bone. This increases the amount of stress it takes to break the bone.
Ocular Implant- These implants replace his normal eyes granting him the ability to see in inferred,night vision, and has a ranged viewing option. This implant negates the need to carry extra gear and is favored among most recon members.
Inboard computer: A small super computer supplements his organic brain. Mostly in charge of smoothly running his implants and enhancements it does speed up his thought processing as well as granting a bonus in memory retention. This in turn allows him to learn at unprecedented speeds when compared to a purely organic person.
Short wave Radio- A small radio is built into the side of his head and links up with his inboard computer allowing coded communication with nearby humans with the same implant. The major benefit is it allows him to speak with his troops in total silence.
Strengths: As a soldier of the Earth Legion his is highly modified and given advantages others could only dream of.With cybernetic enhancement he is nearly unstoppable when compared to a normal human or other species. Furthermore a lifetime of recon and fighting the fierce Vanarian have endowed him with a tactical understanding of combat.
Weakness: Because of his inboard computer and the fact it runs the cybernetic enhancements that give him his edge the Major is extremely vulnerable to cyber warfare and hacking attempts. Although the computer has it's own suite of firewalls and jammers it is no match for a talented hacker using a portable terminal. Turning off the inboard computer would rob him of many his advantages. Furthermore the emp shielding his implants are protected with are not rated to stand extreme bursts or continuous bombardment of high level emp energy.
Weapons/Equipment:

Archtech 1500 Series /Marksman Rifle- A highly modified version of one of the standard issue rifles it is rated for long distances of up to and including 2.5 kilometers in single shot mode. Featuring a Tri-light scope that links directly into one's inboard computer it allows for accuracy even during heavy windstorms. Powered by a sealed fusion battery that can power the energy relays for approximately 50 shots in single shot mode or 25 shots in full auto. Although exact shots per battery are dependent on ambient heat. Sustained bursts cause greater heat build up and thus decrease battery life as extra energy must be expanded to dissipate heat. Though there is a safety bypass that deactivates heat venting but this is not recommended as heat can build up in sufficient amounts to fry the energy relays and focusing crystal.

Archtech Plasma Launcher- Essentially an plasma based shotgun it uses a sealed plasma cell to power coils that launch focused balls of plasma at sub-sonic velocity. The resulting plasma ball is traveling at sufficient speed and burning at a high enough temperature to burn through most known metals. The plasma cell can power the launcher for approximately 12 shots although it depends on ambient heat. It is best used at short distances as the plasma begins to cool after 2.3 seconds and the sub-sonic velocity forces the ball to travel in more or less a declining arc.

Archtech Shrike Auto Pistol- A energy based auto pistol it is powered by a sealed fusion battery. Rated for full auto the fusion battery can power it for 250 shots due to a exchangeable heat sink that absorbs heat passively instead of using extra energy to vent it forcibly. The only down side to this system is that the heat sinks must be ejected every 50 shots and replaced or the heat build up will radiate and fry the energy relays.

Plasma Grenades-Plasma based hand grenades they use a small demolition charge to spew white hot plasma in a 10 foot circle from point of impact. Features a double action pin that prevents accidental priming. The fuse is set at approximately 6 seconds although there is the option to set them as remote explosives.

Priming Trigger- A remote detonator it is used to set off plasma grenades that are set for remote det. Features the same double action activation and has a max range of 200 meters.

Smoke Grenades- Uses a non-lethal demo charge to activate a specially designed core that when lit immediately covers up to 50 square feet with thick smoke. Features an option to decide color of the smoke.

Stealth System- A cloaking device it renders him nearly invisible by bending the light that hits him. While the battery is linked up to a solar panel and thus rechargeable it can only power the stealth system for 10 minutes per full cycle.

Solar panel- Bolted on his back plate it is a highly efficient solar panel that both recharges his stealth system battery and powers the shoulder mounted cam.

Shoulder cam- A shoulder mounted cam it lets HQ see his actions in real time. Capable of linking into his inboard computer to allow him a 360 degree view of his surrounding.

Repair and Service kit- A small tool kit it lets him service and repair his weapons and equipment

Supplies- Various supplies such as nutrient paste and water alongside spare batteries,etc.
Clothing/Armor:
Recon Armor- A black modular under-suit padded with kinetic padding and composed of a tough cloth interwoven with carbon fiber threads. Reinforced with an over suit dull green-gray plates fixed on key areas of the under suit. Various pouches and belts hold all his gear and weaponry. The plate mounted on his right bicep bears his unit's logo. Two crossed long swords.
Recon Helmet: A full face helmet it features the same green-gray armor plating as the armor alongside a liquid crystal lined bullet proof visor that acts as his HUD and targeting reticule. With kinetic padding lining the underside of the helmet it can stand up to a lot of pressure and damage.

Bio/History:

The son of a proud soldier Yue was from the day he was born steeped in the military traditions of his father and indeed his forefathers. At the age of 4 he began his martial training learning of the way of combat and the warrior. Always his father was there to urge greater effort out of his son and Yue was more then willing to rise up to the challenge. By the age of 13 his father had enlisted the child into a harsh military school where one earned respect both by performance in the classroom and the fights arranged Mano a Mano. And thus the child was toughened up both mind and body. Excelling in the demanding classes he won top honors each year much to his Father's approval. Nothing seemed beyond his reach and at the age of 16 he graduated from the military school with top honors.

Choosing to enlist in Early Officer training he had earned his commission before he could drink legally and his Father spoke of being proud of him. For Yue those few words meant more then all the honors that had been heaped upon him. And so it was with a light heart that he officially became a soldier at the age of 18.

Assigned to a squad of veteran soldiers nearly 10 years older then him it took him but a few short weeks to earn their respect. He showed them he was better shot, a better martial artist, and in the war games he showed himself a tactician with a perchance for non-linear thinking. And when the call to arms came he proved himself cool under pressure . As war swept the Earth Yue fought on winning every single battle no matter the odds. Bounties were set on his head by the enemies of his nation and medals decorated his dress uniform. But as the end came Yue knew there was no winning this fight. And so in grand warrior tradition tried to meet his end with as much courage and honor as he could muster.

But instead of death the soldier found himself with chosen alongside others to be spared the death that awaited most. Looking back as the planet he was born on was torn to pieces he shed a few tears. He had sworn to protect his nation to the death and instead he now ran while his father and mother burned. But putting it aside he swore anew to protect what was left of humanity as the wormhole was entered.

And so came to what was suppose to be a new home, a new beginning to the story of humanity's existence. But instead of peace the human's found only war once more as the brutal Vanarian attacked them. Although easily dispatched by virtue of superior technology and tactics these lizard freaks begin to prove themselves a determined enemy. And as Yue ranges further afield with his recon unit the less of this planet he likes. The races are openly hostile towards the humans, even the ones who look more or less human themselves. The political turmoil is so thick one can hardly not be aware of it.

But with a sigh that goes right down to the bones the Soldier merely bears it. For better or worse this place was now home, there was nothing to go back to and the ships lacked the power to take them anywhere else. So loading a fresh battery into his rifle he stands ready to up hold his vow.
