Konohagakure

The man quickly got there ramen and set it down. "No drink." Sasuke said and broke open a pair of chopsticks,
then started eating. "So.." he started. "If you have a you-know-what in you, does it have a name? Like Gaara's Shukaku?"
Sasuke asked, somewhat quietly. He didn't want to make it a big deal if she was maybe sensitive to the subject.

Gaara was about to walk back to his room. He stopped in front of his door, then turned around. He gritted his teeth behind his lips and pounded his fist on Kansa's door. "What?" she asked and opened it, her face still bright red. Gaara pushed her aside and walked into her room, shutting the door. "Sit." he snapped. Kansa sighed and sat down on her bed. "Now tell me what happened." he said sternly. "I-I...!" Kansa sighed again "Fine..."
she said softly and told her brother everything that happened. Gaara bared his teeth. "So thats why?" he asked in an annoyed tone. "Hm..?" she asked softly looking up at him. "Thats why your acting like a bitch?" he sneered. Kansa's eyes widened. "He just found your weakness, Kansa." Gaara said through his teeth. 'I didnt think about that...!' she thought. "How ironic, your always complaining about peoples actions and how they should have payed more attention to there emotional training. Well your one to talk. You fuckign coward." Gaara sneered coldly. "If your really a shinobi of the sand you'll learn how to control your stupid feelings. Put them aside. He'll probably use that shit against you." Gaara spoke in a now angered manner. "I-Im... sorry..." Kansa said skittishly and rubbed her arm. "sorrys not gonna fucking cut it now, is it? Learn to suppress your feelings. It'll do you good. Especially if you want to consider yourself my so-called sibling" Gaara sneered and left her room abruptly. Kansa was left in silnence. She closed her eyes tightly as she felt tears well up in them. "Understood...." She muttered quietly and sniffled, rubbing her eyes. "Ill get better for you, I promise..!" she said and sniffled again. "Stop crying." Gaara snapped through her door and walked into his. "i know!" Kansa said, clenching her bedsheets in her fists.

"Aw, yes. It's name is 'Miyako'." She said eating some ramen. "She's.....overpowering...." She said quietly.
'Overpowering!? Sorry but it's you who is the weak one!' Miyako chimed. Sona just greeted her teeth a little annoyed.
'Let me talk to Sasuke, go ahead, give in.' She said in her mind. 'Give in!!' Miyako yelled causing Sona's head to hurt.
"Ah!" Sona said dropping her chop sticks and grabbing her head.

Sai laid, trying to sleep. He found himself wide awake so he decided to go out. 'Hm...where to...' He sighed. An image of Kansa popped into his mind, making him decide to go to her place. Sai went to their hotel and asked for their room number. He then went and knocked on their door.

Sasuke sighed "I see..." he said quietly, and recalled when both her and Gaara were in pain. 'She's far more in control it seems, though.' he thought. "Hey, dont push yourself." Sasuke said and turned back to his ramen. "If you need silence I get it." he said.

Gaara sighed and picked up his gourd, strapping it onto his back. "Right when Im about to leave..." he said quietly and walked out of his room. He walked to the front door and opened it. His eyes quickly narrowed "No." he said darkly and closed the door, locking it. "Who was it.." Kansa asked quietly as she walked out of her room, leaning against the door frame. Her face was red and her mask hung around her neck. "No one." Gaara spoke and looked over his shoudler at her, with an unsettling glare. "G-got it..." Kansa stuttered and walked to the window. "Hey, you mind if I sit out on your balcony?" she asked softly. "Fine." Gaara sighed and leaned against the door as she walked into his room. When Gaara knew Kansa couldnt hear, he turned around and unlocked the fron door, opening it. "Listen, I know the story. Kansa needs to focus on her training and concealing her emotions. Not kissing a boy. Thats what we're here to do. Become stronger and better ninja. So you coming here making her more emotional wont help. Whether your trying to be 'nice' or straight forward, got it?" Gaara snapped, like it really wasnt a question. "I suggest you leave now and do the same." he gritted his teeth slightly.

Sona almost chuckled, "No, Miyako just likes to speak her mind.." She sighed as some of the pain went away.
She turned back and continued eating her ramen. ".....So, how are you dealing with...that 'incident' that happened to your family..?" She asked.

Sai was surprised at the first door answering. The second time he listened to Gaara's words and smiled. "I don't remember you being apart of our relationship." He smiled. "Just because you have mixed feelings towards Mei, don't lash out on Kansa. Perhaps you're jealous that she can be brave enough to expose her feelings, unlike you who yells and runs away." He stated and walked away. Once he was out of sight Sai jumped on the roof and walked around seeing if there was any other way to see her, when to his luck, she was standing on the balcony. He hopped down and stood on the railing. He put one finger over his mouth, "Shhh" He said smiling.

"Its nothing." Sasuke said simply. "Itachi will get whats coming to him when I finish my training." he said and looked back
over at her. "Revenge is a beautiful thing, isn't it?" he sighed and wiped his mouth.
"I don't think about the incident often though. I just try to think about what I can improve and what I can learn.
What I can do to seek power..." he said softly.

Gaara sighed. "Im not jealous of albinos, that's for sure." he said to himself and turned back to look at his room.
"Persistent fuck." he growled and walked towards his door. All around his room there was sensory sand floating around.
He didn't want Kansa touching his stuff, so that's what he did to make sure she didn't.

Kansa's eyes widened at first, then darkened as she glanced away. "Hi." she said softly with a deep sigh.
"Its not like Im gonna yell because your here..." she added, pulling his hand away from her mouth.

Gaara heard her talking and walked into his room, but stayed by the balcony doors to listen to there conversation.
He was so quiet it was like he wasn't even there at all... to anyone else he really wasn't.

"Itachi.....he's your older brother right?" She said listening sincerely. As She was listening a memory came across her mind.
She was about 10 and she was trying to run away from home. She was walking down an unfamiliar path when she saw a man sitting alone under a tree. He had long black hair and he looked peaceful. Although, his arm was bleeding. She was a little concerned and went over to make sure he was alive. "Sir....?" She called out, making him open his eyes slowly. They were a piercing red with black in them. She was a little surprised and jumped back, but the man still stared at her. "W-what?" She asked. "I should be asking you that.." He sighed. His voice was smooth and low. It was also, calming..? "I...saw that you were hurt and thought I should make sure you're alive.." She said quietly. He didn't really reply he just looked up to see the bright sky. He squinted his eyes, as if the sunlight was painful. "I-I should bandage that wound..." She said as she got out a medical kit she packed with her from her back pack. "Is...that alright..?" She asked approaching him. ".....What's your name? and Why would you want to help a stranger...?" He asked narrowing his eyes. "....It's Sona, and I just thought you needed help..." She sighed. He didn't really say anything for a moment then spoke, "Alright." He said offering his arm out a little. She knelt down beside him and started taking care of his wound. He watched her and spoke, "Running away from home?" He asked noticing the back pack full of things.
"...Yeah, No one want's me there....I'm just a burden, or a monster....." She said sounding a little sad. He looked back up to the sky, "....Family loves you no matter what, even if your family can't show it correctly, I guarantee whatever they did to make It seem like they hate you, they did out of protecting you." He said softly looking at her and..smiling? She was taken back a little. It seemed like he really knew what he was talking about. Sona didn't say anything she just thought and finished up cleaning and wrapping his wound. She put her kit away. "Thank you," He said mobbing his arm around. "And just remember, Being an adult is tough...I know it's head to understand, but go home okay?" He stood up and pat her head, then walked away.
Sona returned to what was happening and shook her head from the thoughts.

"Is something wrong?" He asked stepping onto the balcony.
"You seem upset...? Did I go to far earlier? Sorry." He said honestly.

"Yes." Sasuke nodded. "You heard of him?" he asked looking over at her.
'It seems like she does...' he thought, staring at her intently and waiting for her answer.

"...no." Kansa answered, her face made a slightly sour expression. "Its not you..." she answered, then looked down at her
feet. "Leave." she stated. "I cant have you disrupt my training..." she spoke quietly then looked back up at him.
"Its better for me to leave my emotions behind and just focus on whats important. So Sai. Go."
she said strongly but, clearly wasn't 100% of what she was saying. Her body language showed it.
'Gaara will love me like I love him fi I prove that Im strong! I need to become better than him! I have to!'
she thought.
Gaara narrowed his eyes. 'Idiot. I never promised something so stupid. I can tell what your thinking.'
he thought.

"Ah.....Not really." She said taking another bite of her food. 'Maybe it's best not to mention it..not even sure if that was him...but if it was..he obviously has some secrets of his own..' She thought intently.

Sai remained emotionless. "Did Gaara say something..? He's not apart of this Kansa.." He sighed.
He looked at her, 'She's unsure..' He thought. Sai walked forward and hugged her, not saying anything. He just stood there and hugged her tightly. 'So this is emotions...?' He thought.

Sasuke nodded and went back to his ramen. "He's still in the Village Of Rock, if I remember..." Sasuke said quietly,
staring down at his bowl. Remembering the last encounter he had with his brother didn't change the expression
on his face. "He better stay there..." Sasuke said quietly, narrowing his eyes and staring at his reflection in the soup
of the bowl. 'Keep the promise, dammit.' he thought and shook his head. "Sorry."
he said calmly and resumed eating.

Kansa froze for a minute. "Yes he is!" she spoke strongly, looking out at Konoha over Sais shoulder.
Her breathe quickened, she was too emotional in that state. "Gaara is apart of all my issues! And for good reason!"
she spoke clenching her fists. "He tells me if Im being stupid! Or unreasonable! Or whatever the hell else!
He reminds me of what my goal is!" she said and gritted her teeth. "He's the one Im doing this for..!"
she closed her eyes tightly. "And I wont fail!" she spoke, pulling away from Sai quickly.
Gaara yawned without making a noise. 'Boring.' he thought.

Sona sighed, although comfort wasn't her thing it seemed she needed to get used to it. 'These people are wrecks..' She thought and patted Sasuke's back. "there there.." She said in a lazy tone. She didn't really know how to help, but she felt like she wanted to.

Sai stared emotionless, with his usual poker face. "...Alright then." He said calmly as if unfazed. "Goodnight." He said and jumped onto the railing then jumped down. He looked back up but quickly looked forward as he walked home. '...She's practically brainwashed..' She thought as he walked.

Sasuke chuckled and looked over at her. "Don't be stupid. I was just thinking." he said smiling softly.
"I can tell your not good at comfort... neither am I so don't worry." he chuckled softly and finished his ramen.
"But you probably already noticed, so." he shrugged.

Kansa sighed in regret and stood up straight. "I wont fail..." she said quietly and turned around. Gaara blended in
with the shadows as Kansa walked through the balcony doors and left his room.
"Idiot." Gaara said and closed the doors to everything. 'Now I forgot what I was gonna do all along... good.'
he thought and just sat down. Sand poured out of his gourd. 'Mediation again... I need to get better at that... along
with the speed of my sand.' he thought. The sand made a barrier around Gaara and hardened quickly, just
like before they went to get ramen.

"Yeah, but I suppose that means we'll get along nicely." She said, finishing her ramen.
Sona paid for their meals and thank the ramen shop man.
Sona stood up and stretched. "Well Sasuke, thanks for showing me this place, it was delicious. " She stated.

Sai walked back to his house and fell asleep.

"Apparently the best in Konoha" Sasuke said stretching his arms as he walked out of the shop.
"Thank you again for paying though, Ill probably repay you tomorrow. And also ,your welcome."
he nodded, then let his arms fall down by there sides. "By the way, be sure your up early. Tomorrow we have morning
training before the second Chuunin test." Sasuke said, staring straight into her eyes.
"Well, good night. See you tomorrow." he said finally, and not waiting for a reply he leaped away back
to his house.

Kansa went to sleep in silence, just thinking.

Gaara stayed awake all night meditating in his little sand dome.

~Skip To Morning~

Sasuke was up early in the morning, stretching before he would have to run off to meet Kakashi; who would
most likely be late anyways. He checked his clock: 5:34 AM. "Good, Im on time."
he said to himself, then left his room and locked his front door before running off into the forest.

Gaara's dome broke down and all the sand went back into the gourd. He stood up and cracked his neck,
along with his knuckles before heading out of the room. He walked to Kansa's and knocked on the door.
"Wake up. Morning training." he said sternly, then turned and walked into the kitchen.
He ate an apple waiting for Kansa.

Kansa yawned and sat up. Its 5, the hell?" she said softly then sat up. "Whatever he says I guess..."
she mumbled and got dressed. She splashed water in her face and put her hair up, along with her mask,
then walked to the kitchen. "alright, lets go" she smiled brightly under her mask and the both of them
headed off. As they walked, Gaara found that all he could think about was the conversation he had with
Mei the night before.
'All I could think about was how we were touching...' Mein his head.
He didn't understand her logic. "I guess it depends on what her definition of weird is, but..."
Gaara trailed off under his breathe. Kansa didn't bother asking him what he was talking about;
he wouldn't have told her anyways. "Women are confusing"
he sighed quietly to himself, then focused what they were doing. "Some of us"
Kansa snickered as she ran with him. "I assume to the same place as last time?" Kansa asked.
"No. This time by a river." Gaara said simply. "How do you know...?" she asked softly.
"Don't worry about it." he replied, then went silent.
They got there quickly. "Huh, first ones. You woke up too early" Kansa smirked.
"I never slept/." Gaara corrected. "Oh... your right.. my bad" she giggled and sat down.
Gaara leaned up against a tree with his arms crossed, patiently waiting for the others to arrive.

Sasuek was still running towards the river. He decided to go on foot instead of in the trees.

Sona nodded and bid him goodnight. She walked back to her place, and went to sleep.

She woke up early. She got up and changed into her normal attire as she ate a pear and drank some water.
Sona liked pears, The texture and everything was delicious to her. She left her house at a good time and started walking to the meeting place.

Mei sat up, yawning and stretching. "Ugh if I want to be on time I need to get ready" She sighed.
She rolled out of bed and had some breakfast to give her energy. Despite all of the stuff that happened yesterday, she changed into her usual outfit. She decided she wouldn't worry about it, and that she was weird but she should move on.
She ran out and hurried over to the meeting place happily. She arrived and saw Kansa and Gaara. She walked up to them yawning, "Morning guys~" She smiled and stretched. Sona appeared not long after her, she didn't really say anything, just stood under a nearby tree.

Sai woke up feeling tired, but ready to go. He got all ready then headed out the door.
He leaped through some trees but jumped down and walked at a medium pace. As he walked he thought about Kansa, but tried to get it out of his head, as his face remained, as always, emotionless.

Gaara nodded, stone face as he waited for Kakashi. 'And yet she wears the same thing. How stupid.' he thought. "Good morning Mei" Kansa smiled brightly under her mask, then eyed her and Gaara both down. 'I wonder...' she thought and looked away towards the river. It was a nice day out, it made her feel a lot happier.

Sasuke got to the meeting spot quickly after and sighed walking by Kansa and staring down at the water.
"Morning Sasuke" she turned to him and smiled. He nodded in return, then looked over his shoulder at Sona.
"Morning Shadow." he said jokingly, but didn't show much emotion as he looked back down at the clear water.
He glanced up at Kansa, who seemed deep in thought. Her eyes were darkened and sullen; she was out of it.
"What are you thinking about?" Sasuke asked quietly so no one else could hear.
Kansa sighed softly. "Just.... decisions..." she replied quietly. "Blood is thicker than water, Kansa. But
water may be sweetened, while blood remains metallic and cold. Keep that in mind."
Sasuke responded, then looked back at the water. "And fish come and go, but the memory may stay."
he sighed quietly and turned around as he heard rustling in the trees.
Kansa thought deeply about what Sasuke said. 'I don't understand but... I will.'
she thought and nodded to herself.
"Hello." Kakashi jumped down from the trees and smiled. "Huh, new record. Only about, 10 minutes late?"
Sasuke sighed. "I wont give you excuses this time, straight to training." Kakashi said seriously,
which surprised Sasuke a bit.
"Why by the river?" Kansa asked turning around, snapping back into reality.
"Youll see." Kakashi smiled.

Mei yawned again widely.
She stood by Gaara and watched Kansa walk away, "I wonder what's wrong...?" She said quietly.

Sona chuckled quietly, and nodded back at Sasuke. She looked up through the trees as bits of sun peeked through.
While Sasuke and Kansa were by the river Sai came. Sai walked by Sona and stopped looking at Kansa and Sasuke talking.
"hmm.." He mumbled. Sona looked up, "Ah...Morning," She greeted Sai.
Sai looked down as if he didn't even notice she was there until then, "Morning." He stated and looked back up.
"......" Silence fell between them. "If you're feeling regret, go talk to her." Sona said. She didn't know what happened but had a good guess. Sai looked down and smiled. "She seems fine with it." He stated. Sona rolled her eyes, 'Oh gosh, more emotionally wreck people...I shouldn't have gotten involved..' She sighed as Kakashi came.

"So, assuming that you all can walk on water, thats what we are doing this morning."
Kakashi said. "I cant reveal todays Chuunin Test exactly but, you will need to know your surroundings well and
how to adapt to them well. You will know what I mean." he nodded.
"The exercises will be changed today. Youll each actually be working on what you want, but also
with my help and criticism so-to-say" he nodded. "I gut it." Sasuke nodded, holding his
mouth to the side as he looked down at the water.
"Everyone understand? Lets begin then." Kakashi smiled. "Everyone onto the water"
he nodded. Gaara walked past Kansa and onto the water. 'If my sand gets drenched in water it will become heavy as lead...
I need to be careful.' he thought, and waited in the middle of the river as it peacefully flowed under his feet.
Sasuke followed but stood spread away from Gaara. Kansa did the same as well.

Sona nodded and marched onto the river, as if there was no difference then on land.
She stood pretty far out and walked around a little bit. 'Good!' Miyako chimed in her head.
Mei was nervous about it so she concentrated as hard as she could. She took little baby steps and tried not to fall.
Sai also walked out onto the water no problem.

Gaara walked over to Mei with his arms crossed.
He looked right at her with his unsettling stare and sighed. "Have you not done this before?"
he asked and walked beside her. He grabbed her arm gently. "Cmon. If your fall ill lift you up."
he said simply.
Kansa's eyes widened in surprised. 'Gaara...?' she thought, staring at him with shock.
Sasuke knelt down and let his fingers graze over the water. 'The waters even warm today...' he thought
and looked up at the sky. "Is it really this nice?" he asked himself quietly.
"Its the beginning of spring still..." he sighed and stood back up. 'Whatever, Im over-thinking'
he thought.

Mei was surprised, but followed Gaara out a little ways into the water.
"T-Thanks!" She said blushing a little bit.
She concentrated on keeping her balance as well as the chakra into her feet.
Sona looked around and closed her eyes. It felt nice out and was relaxing.
She walked around, tampering with how much Chakra she had to release before she would fall.
Sai saw Gaara and was surprised. 'So I was right after all...?' He thought as he glanced.
'Everyone seems to be getting the hang of it.' He thought. Just then, Mei started to fall.

Gaara noticed she was about to fall and sighed, taking a step in front of her.
He wrapped his arm around her waist and held her closer to him and up a bit so she wouldn't fall completely
under the water. "Your balance is fine, but it seems like your either not using enough chakra or your
not concentrating enough." he said, staring right at her. He sighed again "Now if I let you go will you fall?"
he asked. Kansa chuckled. 'Awwwwwww my godddddddd that's so cute!!!'
she thought and couldn't help but giggle watching them. 'Gaara's actually helping her <333'
she thought and blushed herself. 'OH that is SO cute!" she thought and fiddled with her thumbs, getting
all giddy. Kakashi had his face in his book, waiting for Mei to get used to walking on the water.
Sasuke looked over at them. "Cmon Mei its not hard especially when someone's helping you."
Sasuke nodded, somewhat encouragingly. He looked over at Kansa.
"What are you all happy about?" he asked crossing his arms. "Nothing" Kansa smiled brightly.
"My ass." Sasuke said under his breathe as he looked away.

Mei gasped as Gaara held her close. She blushed even more but listened to what he said.
"N-No i'll be ok!" She said concentrating and applying more chakra to her feet.
She stood still and started to get the hang of it again.
She smiled 'yes!' She thought concentrating harshly.
Sona heard the commotion and glanced over. "Ah...." She didn't say anything but just watched.
'Too bad no one's there for you.' Miyako rang. 'I don't need anyone here.' She replied.
'Right because nobody wants to help a monster.' Miyako chimed. Miyako likes to make Sona upset.
When Sona's upset she releases more power, thus making her stronger with Miyako loved.
Sona just gritted her teeth and some of the water under her began to boil slightly from her anger.
She noticed however and calmed down. Sai glanced over, 'isn't that nice..' He thought watching them.

"So your ok on your own now then?" Gaara asked and crossing his arms, walking in front of her.
Kansa and Sasuke looked over to the water under Sona. "Are they both never content?"
Sasuke muttered and looked back forward with a sigh. "Beats me... the hosts seem to become bipolar or...
easily distressed after a while. But that's just what Ive learned from observing my brother."
Kansa shrugged quietly and looked over to him. "What is it to you?"
she asked softly. "I don't know... just something I noticed that bothers me... or, makes me curious I should say"
Sasuke nodded. Kansa glanced over at Sai.
'I... really like him but if I cant learn to suppress my feeling of over-reaction to a kiss, Gaara will never accept me.'
she thought. 'And, if he cant except me as his sister.... then...' she quickly shook her head.
"Stop thinking about something impossible." she said quietly to herself.
"You're talking to yourself, right?" Sasuke asked not looking over. "Oh, y-yeah" Kansa laughed
in an embarrassed manner. "Thought so. Im thinking about what I want to work on, and Im positive its not
impossible." he said. "Yeah... sorry" Kansa laughed.

"O-oh yeah I got this!-" just as Mei said that. PLUNGE. She fell into the water. She lost concentration.
Her head rose from the water. "Dang it! I lost my concentration!"
She spit water out. "I'm fine!" She said rubbing her head in embarrassment.
Sona shook her head and walked around on the water.
Sai sighed and walked over to Mei. "Try again?" He said offering his hand and smiling.
Mei looked up surprised but nodded. She took his hand and stood back up concentrating.
'Guess he can be nice sometimes' Mei thought but quickly returned to her chakra pressure concentration.
"Good." Sai said and remained close by. 'Damn, I feel more drama coming on..' Sona sighed.
Although Mei was soaking she tried her best to stay above water.
'Strange....why would Sai help her..?' Sona thought until she noticed something.
Mei's chest was now wet with water occasionally dripping off it.
Sona put her palm to her face, 'Is that all guys can think about!?' She thought.
