Setting
Due to the odd effects of the Land of Seasons the climate and weather of the Tower changes randomly. One minute it may be bright and sunny, the next it may begin to snow.

Roku let out a huff. He wished he could simply let a wave of lightning coat the box and fry him, but that would fry Kiyoko too, and she was in bad shape. Besides, the raiton might weaken the box and give him a way out. They had to think of a way to defeat him, both before he escaped but without harming Kiyoko.

Jin looked up at the Jikankage and nodded. He had heard there were special time jutsu that could allow the user to, withing a certain area, manipulate time for a few moments, but he never thought he would even see one being preformed. "Alright then...Ryushiton: Thin Barrier!" With that all the dust in the area began to accumulate around the prison and settle in a thick layer on the floor, so that there was a wide gray ring around the entire rock prison. "Roku, whatever your most powerful jutsu is, get it ready, but don't get in that dust, no matter what. When the Jikankage uses this technique, I'll step through the bars, and get Kiyoko away. After that he'll tey and escape, so let him have it."
Once the jutsu was ready Jin moved towards the cage. Because he was the one who set the barrier jutsu up, it wouldn't affect him, but anyone else who stepped on the dust would become trapped and the dust would quickly cover their entire body. It should be too quick for Gyaku to use his space-time jutsu to get away, but just in case he wanted Roku standing by. Ginryu was on the prowl as well, not having to be told to kill Gyaku is the barrier trap or Roku didn't get him.
"Alright, Jikankage-dono, when I get inside, use the justu." Jin said, and the Jikankage nodded. "Hiding Like A Mole Technique!" Jin then finished a series of handseals and passed through the bars of stone, becoming solid ocne more on the otherside. What he found was Gyaku, standing over and unconcious Kiyoko, his right hand glowing with some justu. It looked like he was about to slam his hand into her, but just then he glanced up, and the time stop jutsu went into effect. Jin sprinted across the prison floor, moved Kiyoko out of the way, then began to knock Gyaku away, but just as he was about to punch him the jutsu let up.
Jin's fist goes through Gyaku, then Gyaku's hand slams down on the center of his chest, knocking him back and out. gyaku then slips through the prison walls, cursing, and gets caught in the dust justu by suprise.
(okay, go all out on him. use whatever justu you like and make the outcome of it whatever you like as well, cause we all know he really survives, but it can looks as if he died :D)

"Oh...my chest..." Jin says, sitting up. There is a perfectly round circle burnt through his shirt, and on his chest there is a perfectly round black circle., the edges of it red. "Damnit, this is a sealing jutsu!" As he placed his hand on the circle he could feel it changing into the three-sectioned yin yang seal Gyaku used on his subjects. Cursing he grabs up a kunai and cuts the skin off before Gyaku's chakra has a chance to invade his body. "I will not become a looking glass for that bastard!"
After a moment Jin walks out of the wreckage, Kiyoko on his back, unconcious still. Through the hole in his shirt can be seen the jagged bloody hole where the seal had been. Well, it isn't really so much a hole as a place where his skin is missing down the muscle...
The medic-nin see him and rush over, but he places Kiyoko in their arms and sends them off, wanting to see what's left of Gyaku first. Turning around he sees a blackened pile of ashes, and a scorch mark where Gyaku had been only moments before. Moving closer he sees something in the ashes, and upon inspection he finds it is a kunai, a bit oversized, and that it looks as of there had been something wrapped around the handle.
"I've got a really bad feeling," Jin says, turning to Roku and the others, holding it out. His chest still bleed and he is pale, but he ignores the pain. "There was something wrapped around this kunai, and with a man of his skills..."
He trails off as the medic and his father rush over to him. other medics go over to Roku as well, and Ginryu nods to Jin and his father then dissapears in a puff of smoke.

He glanced at Jin's wound. Impressive will for him to cut away his own flesh to prevent a jutsu, he thought. He made a handsign and a single cloud ghosted past the medics and settled over Jin's self-inflicted wound, soothing the raw muscle with cool moisture as the muscle and skin slowly re-knit and healed under the cloud. He would leave the lesser injuries to the medics.
"How's Kiyoko?" Roku asked. "I'd heal her, too, but don't know how my clouds will mix with her infection."

Jin was out of it, not paying attention to anything but the kunai. He was suprised when the cloud appeared, and as it did it's work his chest began to itch like crazy as it healed. When it was fully healed there was a perfect white circle where the mark of the seal had been, and looking over he imagined he could still see his flesh on the ground where he'd thrown it.
"Thanks Roku," he says quietly, turning his attention to him, then smiling as Kiyoko walks over and says she'll be fine. "He may have gotten away, but at least he didn't get what he was after. I think we'll get him one day, we're still young after all." He then looked over to his father, who was now speaking with the Jikankage. "I suppose this means the Exam is over now though, too bad. I was hoping to face you in the arena next."
He then laughs and watches as his father turns and uses a jutsu to sink the remains of the stone prison back into the ground, eraseing all traces of the fight that had just happened, save for the ashes and scorch marks.
"I wonder what will come of this though? Will they send somone after him, to try and figure out where he went, or did he really get away clean?"
