A dancer with a broken leg; and an inordinate amount of Welsh.
Vigorous and determined, Anwen's strict nature earns her plenty of respect, but not so many friends. She is passionate, questioning and sometimes a little full of herself, owning to the praise she receives for trying so very hard. She does have a fun-loving side too, even if she only brings it out for parties- she will laugh and let her hair down, becoming boisterous and loud after she feels comfortable, but only after all of her work and practice is finished. Even then, she has to be coaxed into it.
Her relationships with other people rely entirely on their first impression of her. If they meet her on a day of say, a performance or an exam, it is unlikely that that person will ever want to speak to Anwen again- after being brushed aside with a sarcastic comment or probably being ignored completely. If they meet her on the first day of half-term, or a exam result day, however, she will seem warm and friendly and that person will have made a new friend- that is until the holiday is over or the next exam begins.
What people think of her heavily depends on the amount of pressure she is under.
-A pair of crutches, for obvious reasons
-A simple over the shoulder bag containing the usual things
-A 2012 planner with a red dragon on the front, packed with practices and exams- and one date that Anwen forgot to go to
-3 pens. One might run out and the other might break and then what will she do?
Anwen was born in raised in Cardiff; in a middle class house with a middle class family that she got on reasonably well with. Being dyslexic, she hated school and instead poured all of her effort into dance, specifically Ballet. Being talented, she quickly excelled and eventually, at eighteen, when she had finally finished collage-which was not her choice but her mothers, who insisted 3 failed a-levels were better than none- went on to be accepted into a prestigious dance school in America. She wasn't particularity happy with moving over to America, she would have preferred somewhere in Wales or at least within Britain- but she went, happy that her dream career now looked real, and has been living there now for 7 months. She gets very homesick sometimes and watches Torchwood to comfort herself.
A few days ago, Anwen was practicing a dance routine and fell of the stage, landing badly and breaking her leg. Terrified this will effect her whole career and livelihood, she is forced to take a couple of months off to heal. She is reluctantly- with the help of her few friends and roommate- trying to have some fun and relax during the months she has to take off. She isn't enjoying it.
