Lucas thought something wasn't right. He pulled out the S&M out and loaded the chambers before walking outside. He leaned on the wall out of sight before flinging out and pointing the gun at Donovan. "Don't move a muscle Donovan you ha e all been told to stay away from girls now leave them be! " he shouted as he pulled the hammer back on his revolver. He wouldn't hesitate to shoot and he wouldn't feel any remorse about it.
He stood up and walked downstairs. He went through but he didn't close the door all the way incase one of them needed something. He sat down and stared at the black moniter seeing himself. He saw someone who wasn't fit to take care of another human being. Someone who didn't care much about the world around him. He put his head in his hands and sulked. He tried to calm himself with the seclusion of the laboratory he called a basement.
He made it to her room and knocked on her door lightly. "Elatha you okay in there. Uh, sorry about before Im just trying to keep you and your sister safe. Here can you come downstairs I want you to meet my assistant she's a bit curious about you as well. " he said tryng to calm her down but he wasn't entirety sure it would work.
Leaving her room and switching off the lights, Elatha went right to the bathroom and washed her face. Her sister rarely gave her good advice, and most of it was on beauty, but once in a while she struck gold with Elatha. She remambered after a particularly bad cry, her sister told her "When you cry, because all girls cry, wash your face with water. It'll calm you down." Then she went on a rant about how awful it was to cry with makeup on and then about reapplying it afterwards, but Elatha took that advice to heart and had been following it ever since. Drying off her face, Elatha did feel much better and took a feel deep breathes before pulling her hair back into a loose ponytail and heading downstairs.
Sumi took off her jacket and hung it on a hook, letting her long white hair down and then letting out a gentle sigh. She felt nice and cool now, and it calmed her. Maybe these girls were t like Lucas. Lucas was serious faced but deep down just really considerate and caring. Not that she didn't hope that they were t considerate and caring, but perhaps they were more happy and cheerful. She smiled gently, hearing the floorboards of the stairs creak slightly from footsteps going down the staircase and livened up, smiling gently as she awaited the new face.
Going down the stairs she stopped half way, peering into the living room, spotting another girl. She looked to be a little older than her sister with long, beautiful, pure white hair and kind looking smile. Elatha thoughts immedietely went to how pretty her hair would be if she could braid little, multi-colored beads into it; but Elatha had to set those triffe thoughts aside for now. She remained there for a moment, staring at the girl with her own large, innocent blue eyes. "Hello..." Elatha greeted quietly, her voice soft, "Are you Lucas' assistant?"
"Oh, yes, I'm Lucas' assistant. One of them anyway." she said softly and with a smile as she made her way to the bottom of the staircase. "Hello. I'm Sumina. Though you can call me Sumi." she gave her a gentle nod of the head and then tilted her head up at the girl. "Are you Elatha?" she asked, wondering if she were the older one or the younger one. She'd heard the older one was closer to her age, so if this was Brooklyn, she looked incredibly young for her age.
Elatha's eyes examined Sumi's hair and she smiled a bit brighter. "You're hair is really pretty. I wish my hair was as pretty as yours." she said in a little more of a friendly, but still a quiet voice. Suddenly her smile faultered as an idea came through her mind. "Are you a human?" Elatha asked, eyeing Sumi with caution. Lucas obviously trusted Sumina enough to let her in and let her be his assistant, so Elatha sort of trusted her too. But she still wanted to know exactly who and what this new, potential friend was.
"Uhm, I bought some hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows for you guys. I heard that most humans like it." she shrugged a little. "I can only imagine the stress you've gotten from today. I mean, our town is a weird one." she laughed a little, and then tilted her head. "How are you feeling? I mean, I can understand if you're scared."
"Scared? Well, I can easily tell your town is a little... off." she said with a little giggle, "I mean, on the very first day of summer I've gotten my own gun, killed a vampire about my age, burned four bodies (one of which stood up and tried to eat me for a second time), meet an incubus who likes the nightsky and a shapeshifter who can turn into a snow wolf." Elatha laughed, "Your town is definitally strange, but it's not scary." Elatha was feeling much more open around Sumi. She liked having someone to talk to; someone who wanted to make sure she was feeling alright. It made Elatha feel more at home in this strange new place. Speaking of feeling good; "Um, could we go get that hot chocolate now?" she asked with a hopeful little smile.
