Personality

Madison's nickname is Mermaid because she spends more of her time in the water then on land. She is a tomboy through & though but a secret die hard romantic, a little bit clumsy that is, until she reaches the water, slighly mature for her age, she has an amazing singing voice but is scared to let people hear her sing, but she's kinda got that "girl next door" attitude. Sweet & innocent but without the guy next door falling in love with her... Madison lives for surfing & her family. Without them she would be lost. She's a daddy's girl & her mom is her best girl friend. They keep her life interesting. She wants to have a love like they have. She wants to open the first surf shop in the town, hopefully with her family. She's the knid of girl who looks on the lighter side of life & makes your day better.

History

Her parents were highschool sweethearts. Her dad, John, has surfed his whole life, her mom, Kate, was a swimmer until Madison's Uncle R.J. (Kate's younger brother) died in highschool from a shark attack. So when John started teaching Madison to surf Kate was aginst it, she was terrifed Madison would get hurt... Or killed. Madison has lived in the same house her whole life with the same next door neighbor, her best friend, they learned how to surf together, how to walk, everything! They were going to compete in the World Surf Tournament. They were definitely good enough to place if not win first! Then one day at The Cove, there was an accident. A shark attack! He was badly wounded & since the attack he has refused to surf, to swim in the water, he won't go anywhere near The Cove! Now she doesn't know what to do with out her other half. They were all ready to compete next year... Now Madison doesn't think that will happen. She doesn't even know if they will still be friends. Since the accident it's been like he's miles away & when he is around he's full of anger & pain. Madison doesn't know what to do. Everything shes done to try & help has failed, miserablely. She just wants her best friend back, her rock, the guy that always had her back. After all this with the shark Kate Madison's mom has been even more against Madison going in the water. Kate even grounded her for a few weeks to keep her out of the water but it didn't work very well. Madison is determined to be in the water, with or without her best friend & to compete in the World Surf Tournament.
