When they all got back to the campus, Summer took the shortcut around the back forest towards her room. She walked by and shivered, remembering the forest where her life, well, her and her friends' lives had been changed forever. She looked deeper into the forest, and walked into Zach for the second time that day, almost spilling her coffee on him.
"Oh I'm sorry!" She said, then looked up and smiled slightly. "Why do I keep bumping into you everywhere I go?" She asked, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.

Katniss smiled and took the sandwich, then the coffee. On the way back to campus she took bites of her sandwich and small sips of the coffee, finishing the sandwich quickly. She looked up and saw Freeman and Alison sitting on the grass. A grimace crossed her face but she quickly forced it into a smile. Ever since that day, she had been hanging around people much more than she was used to. And Freeman wasn't certainly her favorite person in the world. He would know all her current emotions with one falter in her facade. Nevertheless, she attempted to plaster the smile on and kept walking. Reaching a hand up she brushed her hair away from her face and adjusted the strap on her shoulder. Bringing her cup up to her face, she took a long drink of the still hot liquid.

Summer would have bumped into him, had he too not been paying attention this time. Zach caught her in both hands, being sure that if her coffee were to spill that it would not be on him. " You know... I'm starting think you're stalking me!" He let out a playful laugh as he helped her straighten herself up. "What brings you way out here?" One could easily tell that Zach's demeanor had greatly changed since this morning. His smile was genuine, he laughed, whatever was bothering him seemed to have slipped away.
"I was kinda on my way to see Freeman. I wanted to talk to him about some of the things i've discovered, maybe I should wait until we all meet up though. I mean, it's only an hour away... Wanna tag along?" He wished he would have gone to get some coffee... He will get some before he heads to the group meeting.

Freeman opened one eye and looked up at Ally, a smile playing at his lips, "You did silly!"
Before she could respond Robert shouted something. Freeman looked up, a group of them coming back from somewhere, with coffee, he waved back to him. Katniss walked by too, but didn't glance at him, her face covered with a seemingly fake,smile. He sighed and waved to her, she wasn't to fond of him, and he could understand why, but he had no reason to dislike her. He wondered where Zack was, maybe he could meet him somewhere, it was getting to crowded, Freeman hated crowds.
He pulled out his phone, and shot him another text, "Want me to come meet you?"
He put the phone back in his pocket and laid his head back down.

She sat bolt upright to protest his comment, but just then, Robert yelled "Hey" over to them she was going to say something, yet she stopped herself. How could she be so careless as to let someone else know her feelings for Zack. No she would play it cool, so she quickly said, "I never said I did, I just wanted to make sure you didn't hear some dumb rumor from some gossip." She flipped her still damp hair over her shoulder and laid down once more.

Summer laughed with Zach, blushing slightly when he asked if he was stalking her. "No, I'm just extremely clumsy, and I guess we go most of the same ways. My dorm is over there, so I take this shortcut." She said, pointing at a window not far away. Her skin tingled slightly from where he had caught her. Was that part of this weird change too? Nothing makes sense anymore. She was happy to see Zach back to his normal, happy self. It made her crack a smile right with him. She took off her glasses, even though she couldn't see much when she did, and placed them in her bag. She thought they made her look like a nerd.
"Sure! I need something to do." She said, throwing her hands up and turning to smile at him.

"Yea, yea that's what they all say." He let out a lighthearted laugh. "Freeman is waiting on me so I think we should get a move on." Zach started off in the direction of his waiting friends, looking back to make sure she was following. "I'm getting hungry... Wanna grab something to eat later?" He to his recollection, hadn't eaten since yesterday. There were so many other things to be preoccupied with he didn't really have time. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his phone, it was Freeman. "im almost there but if u want 2 sure im comin from the dorms." He sent the text back and replaced his phone.

He looke over at Ally," well I'm gonna go meet Zack at the dorms," he said while he stood up. "nice talking to you, it was fun." He threw his bookbag over his shoulder, waved goodbye to Robert, then bent down

Robert looked down at Katniss, noticing the awkward expression. He gave her a smile as he continued past Freeman and Alison before speaking, his smile slowly fading.
"Don't like Freeman, I see? Well..." he paused as he slipped his phone out of his pocket, checking the time. "We have a couple hours until the meet up. Had you wanted to do something until then? Get some time away from crowds so that we can bare that meeting just a bit better?" He shot her a smile, then leaned in and whispered in her ear.
"I ain't too fond of crowds, myself. I just fake it." His smile twisted into a grin. "And I ain't too fond of Freeman, either. Not a fan of his mop-hair or his attitude." He stood back straight again, taking a sip of his coffee and a bite of his sandwich.

"I don't know. I just don't like that he can tell what you're thinking and how you're feeling." Katniss spoke softly, knowing she had been found out. After she stopped, the drinking and drugs, she had never been a good liar. Before that she could have told a blind person she was an elephant with eight trunks and she would have gotten away with it. Now, she can't tell someone she ate breakfast when she didn't. Bringing her cup up to her face, she took a long drink and notice how empty the cup had become. Ever since she stopped, coffee had been a part of her daily life. She thought about what Robert suggested, going somewhere where there were no crowds. She hated crowds, she always bumped into people. "Yeah, being away from the crowds sounds good to me. I never have much other than my classes planned." She spoke, a true smile making it's way onto her face. Brushing her hair from her face, she looked up at Robert, the smile on her face bright.

He said bye to her and she returned to her dorm room. She walked to her bed side table and checked her phone. Nothing. She shot a quick text to Alex. "Hey Al. Whatts up man? What are you doin?" She hit the send button before laying on her bed and turning on her radio, and grabbed her books for her math class. She had home work to do.
