Lydia jumped in shock, she heard explosions. Alot of explosions. All the walkers in the store limped outside to find the noise, and Lydia's face lit up in delight. But then her smile faded "I'm afraid we can't go back for Alex, he has to find us. That explosion will attract the walkers attention for long enough, let's go," she spoke with confidence. She stood up once she was sure all the walkers were gone.
Instead of listening to Keith's reason, she crouched and cautiously went down the sidewalk, using wrecked cars or any other debris as cover. As they got through the street Lydia was surprised to find the roads empty, free of walkers. One or two decapitated ones, but Lydia didn't think about them. Then she saw it... There was a nightclub, the same one she performed in during the apocalypse, there were security guards with guns inside, the perfect oppertunity. While she considered her oppertunities one of the dead limped at her. It was clear she had to go inside. She tried the door, a tad stiff but unlocked. Inside it stank of flesh and death, the decay of skin. She gagged as a result of the vile smell.
Business had to be dealt with, she immediately started searching the bodies, this was the first site of the Atlanta outbreak. Security guards had little, clearly they had already been looted. She was wary of them coming back, but that wasn't the first thing on her mind.
