-Death Note l Like other death note users, Yuki can manipulate how a person dies, so as long as he writes their name in the note while imagining their face.
-Dark l Unlike most Shinigamis, Yuki had actually managed to make friends with his. Though they are opposites, one seeing potential in humanity while the other seeing them as mere puppets, you could say they get along well. Dark is observing Yuki as an unusual specimen of the human species, and would do all he could to protect his precious 'subject'.

-Being quiet and observing l He had always being a fan of detective stories, and enjoys the fact that how people live can actually be shown just by their appearance or actions. He is not as good in that as his other talents, but sometimes by a stroke of luck he is able to get it right.
-Sweets l You could say he is addicted to them, and they give him a sense of safety. His feels better and calmer when he eats them, and when in tense situations, can consume huge amounts of sugar.
-Amusement l He tends to get amused easily, and can almost find something funny in all situations, making him something like a sadist.
-Hacking l A odd preference for him, he enjoys hacking as a kind of mental practice. He finds it much more interesting breaking through firewalls than just solving a puzzle or a rubrics cube.
-Detective novels l He is an avid fan for it and had read the whole series of Sherlock Holmes, and several other good novels. There did not seem to be any novel he hadn't read before, and he is always the first to go buy it when another was released. He thinks the detectives in real life are too foolish though, and often laments about it.

- Manipulation l Since young, Yuki had been immensely good in manipulating people to do what he wants them to do, even up to extreme measures like blackmail or bribery. He is also quite good in evaluating people to see their strengths and weaknesses and how to use them properly to his advantage. He only sees people as pawns, however, only useful in getting what he wants out of them.
-Hacking l Its a skill he learned and perfected slowly but surely. Now, he is what you can call a expert, but he hardly uses it except for times when he is bored.
-Creating things. He is gifted in them, and always can make something out of seemingly garbage.
-Aim l His aim is surprisingly accurate, and he had trained in archery when he was 10, and quickly mastered it. Now, his aim is almost impeccable.
Dislikes:
-Detectives l They were too amateur for his liking, because in his opinion the only good detectives are the ones in detective novels.
-Humans l He hasn't quite forgiven them for what happened in his past. Although it wasn't everyone, he still bears a grudge toward them.
-Order l He hates being restricted and thinks all rules are there to be broken.
-Being underestimated l Just because he's young doesn't mean you can underestimate him. He would gladly prove someone wrong or worse, kill them without a second thought as that fact ticks him off.

What use is it helping them when they are mere pawns for your use? They do provide some entertainment for me though... It should be fun hunting each other down."
