The Second Princess of Phariq, ditzy and sweet.
Pam is the ebodiment of the term "genius ditz". Her head is always in the clouds, and aside from being overly affectionate, her social skills are rather poor. As mentioned before, her fashion sense is basically non-existent. She is a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, believing staunchly in the concepts of soul mates and true love. She is younger than the First Prince, but older than Syrdaal, although she acts like the younger sibling. Syrdaal is highly annoyed by Pam's constant claims that "You would be less angry if you found your fairytale true love, Syr!"
Despite her outward ditziness, Pam has a vast wisdom of spells and medicine, and is one of the family's few fully trained mages, along with her father.
Pam has only the bare minimum of combat training under her belt, prefering to work as a mage. Her current status as a near expert medic makes her a valuable resource, but her complete cluelessness about anything involving tactics means she will never be a leader. She has no weapon of her own. Aside from medical work, she can also summon localized storms and raise whirlwinds, and even create some small force fields.
Pam was born in western Phariq as the first and only daughter of Queen Lilja Nuoli and her husband. She practically worshipped the ground her older brother walked on, and when Syrdaal was born as the Second Prince, she doted on him endlessly until he was old enough to be annoyed by it. It was at that point that she started trying to find friends for him, "to soften his heart" in her own words. The two bickered constantly while the Queen and First Prince watched in exasperation.
Pam went through basic combat training as a child and pre-teen, but after one of the palace healers found her trying to save an injured cat she found outside the castle, she branched off into healing and spellwork, which she found suited her much better.
At the age of about sixty, as was the rule, she was allowed to have a dragon of her own. She chose a dark gold one with pink wings, mainly because it looked like the beast from her favourite fairytale, and named it Chéri. However, Chéri was a stubborn charge and nigh-untrainable. Nowadays, the only way Pam can keep the thing under control is to use a strong calming spell.
She is now 85, and lives close to her mother in the Royal palace.
