A Short History: Jack was born in the shadows of his brother; he was never able to live up the reputation his parents had expected of him. He went to Cambridge then Harvard in America in his youth, having to escape the high standers of his family. After his schooling he found little interest in a career, but set up shop as a Solicitor in any case. He unlike his brother is immensely fond of parties and balls, (mostly women) he loves the social life and is never found anyplace else.
Although he is quite good at his career, he doesn’t make quite enough to support his lifestyle, so he lives of his brother for lodgings and the necessities. He is the closest thing his brother had to a heir, as a girl cannot inherit the title, so he has strong motivations to prevent his brother from marrying again.
