I yawned as i looked around thinking it's about time for my shift to end. Today has been busy. After all i dealt with 5 quarrels 3 assaults and 1 attempted murder with in the past hour. I kept thinking that this whole affair with a new mayor was over the top. A parade? It's not like he stopped a terrorist attack with nothing but a toothpick and bubblegum. I kept looking until i spotted 3 people surrounded by 6 injured. Soon to be 5 and a corpse in roughly 3 minutes. "what in blazes..." i mutter to myself as i checked my gun. i head over and start groaning internally as i realized who is involved. Asher Williams, the exact person who i have to make sure stays hidden... and his body guard, i try to recall his name but it doesn't pop up. makes sense because i loath him with a passion. a necromancer and an undead. I shiver at the bad memories and look at the third person. A nymph, the one that my C.O. has been dying to find out if she runs an "escort service". honestly i could care less about what that oaf wants. All he would do is just blackmail her into sleeping with him like the corrupt bastard he is. only reason he is so stingy about protocol today is because he is trying to get on the good side of the mayor.

"HEY! Mind explaining to me why there are 5 injured and a dead man in the middle of the street?" I holler as i walk up to the trio. "Honestly your making it really hard for me to do my job." I asses the situation one more time and confirmed the dismembered man has stop squirming. then i turn back and address the young looking lady. "well aren't you a sweet little thing. no wonder they harassed you folks. after all its not everyday you see a beautiful thing walk the street. what i wouldn't give to be with a girl like you." i chuckle to myself wondering what could be going through her head and get a call through my communicator telling me my shift is over. i tap the earpiece i was wearing to see if i heard that right. i shake my head guessing that everything was dying down out around the parade if i got a call instead of someone to take my post.

Myra stood back and watched the two men attack the gang. They both seemed so professional, like they had been trained to fight. This only heightened her curiosity. As she looked over the men laying injured on the ground, she wondered what the big deal was. Why did they need her so bad? Well, they won't be so rude next time. She walked closer to the two men and nodded her head. What do I do in this situation? Should I thank them? Lady nymph. Psh. Myra turned toward the merman and scoffed. "More than a bad business deal, the whole mess is complicated. And my name is Myra."

Just as Myra was about to suggest a clean up crew, a police officer stepped forward. Great, just what I need. She addressed the female officer with a smile. "Thank you! But I'm afraid they aren't exactly fighting over me..." Or are they? Well I guess that's one way of looking at it. "These men on the ground were trying to summon me to a meeting with an...authoritative figure, I'm sure you know who I mean, but they were very pushy." Myra motioned to the merman and the undead, "These two were gracious enough to relieve me of them." Myra slid her gaze down the officer. She is quite attractive, isn't she...I wonder if she is looking for some extra money and some fun.... She was always looking for business opportunities, and she was sure this officer's rough exterior would fare very well with some of her top clients.

I grined at the police officer. It seamed that I didn't need to go fined her. My day was slowly getting better. "relax, Alaena, it is just as Myra said. Besides I needed to take my anger out on something." to prove my point kicked one of the goons a little harder then I needed to. Suddenly I was struck by an idea. I smirked at the officer. "Myra here was just taking Jeremy and I to get some moon stones, perhaps you will want to tag along." I walked over to the Fox shapeshifter and slung my right arm over her shoulder knowing very well that she didn't like it. "Besides I have stuff I want to talk to you about." I whispered to her implying that I wanted something from my father. This hole pretending to not be a prince thing was getting boring and annoying. "So, Myra, want to lead the way to this little shop?" I asked the nymph.

(Sorry it's so short. I have limited access to the internet and am stuck with my phone for now.)

Jeremy's gaze was grabbed by the dying man, all of the blood, that life. The energy was there for the grabbing, in fact, if his saliva ducts were functioning, Jeremy would be drooling right now.
And so, he stepped back to the dying man and crouched beside him, poking the growing puddle of blood and giving it a quick taste. Wait, something was preventing his magic from working! Fuck! It's that damned contract.
"Sir. Permission to absorb life energy?" Jeremy spoke in his monotoned, croaky voice, rubbing the blood on his face. He drew lines from his eyes as if he were crying blood, a line across his face from ear over the nose and to the other ear. It was a habit from when he was alive. Maybe this is the only thing keeping his consciousness alive in this far out of date body.

Jeremy didn't notice the police officer who arrived, he was too busy drawing on his face. Adding blood to his hands and continuing to taste it, ignoring the poor soul who used his dying eyes to watch his own blood be used as make up.

Alaena twitched as Asher had slung his arm over her shoulders. I told him the moment he did that again he would regret it. Alaena's face contorted into a disturbed smile as she formed her words carefully "Asher. Remember how I said you would regret it if you did that again?" the moment she finished talking she grabbed on to his fingers and twisted them in a painful angle and proceeded to gently forced him to lay down on the ground. "As for the business you wish to attend to I'm afraid it will have to wait." Alaena knew she was playing with fire. after all she just floored a prince. no one in there right mind would do that. Then again that's probably why she got away with it so easily. She shrugged and turned her attention to the necromancer who was now playing with the wounded mans blood. I swear, the more I know about this freak the more disturbing he gets. Shaking her head, she returns her attention to the women. "I assume you noticed these two are rather odd and don't fit in at all? Well the situation they are in is quite delicate. it's best if you don't dig too deep or you'll end up in a position worse than I am."

Alaena stretches and stares up at the sky and decides she only has one option that could kill time. "If your headed to get some more moonstones I guess I could come with you. That place has a few things I need to pick up anyways." Turning to look at Asher who hasn't gotten up yet she states "You shouldn't get mad at me for that by the way. It's your fault for not listening in the first place." Alaena smirks knowing she hit a sensitive spot and starts walking in the direction of the shop. She slips around the first turn and waits for them. Wondering if the prince is thinking about attempting to kill her. He probably could but if he does he would draw more attention to himself than he would want. Not only that but cuts down his only contact to his father. The ideas floating around in her head determine that although Asher could kill and and get away with it. The hassle it would cause would not be worth it. Feeling rather safe in her position right now she starts humming a pleasant tune and pulls out a small switchblade and fiddles with it.

Myra watched the situation unfold with a satisfied glance. So far, witnessing a few deaths didn't seem to mean too much. Asher and the undead man had seemed to be doing fine. Well, hopefully the undead was doing okay; Presently he was smearing blood on his face, but Myra had seemed weirder things before. She shuddered at that fact. As she regained her composure, she kept eying Alaena, wondering if she should ask her to join her business. It would temporary of course, maybe just as a fill in. With a sigh, she tossed the idea aside for later and nodded to Asher. She led the way to the small shop and felt a little more paranoid than usual. She shouldn't have allowed the men to rustle the group up. That will be SUCH a pain later.

Myra led the group to a small building just off the main drag and smiled. She hadn't visited this part of town for a couple months, and was interested in seeing her old friend Fergus. As they opened the door, a small bell rang, and Myra heard the shuffling of feet. "Oh Fergus! It's Myra!" She waited for a reply and heard none, so she made her way through various tables of knick-knacks, over to a glass case containing various moonstones. As she was about to open the case, Fergus entered the room. He had always been a short man, dwarfish looking, with fiery red hair and sausage-like fingers. He may not have been the most attractive of friends, but Myra had brought him much business, and he sold her moonstones at cheap prices. "Well hello Fergus. I've brought some friends who are seeking moonstones. May we buy some?"

Fergus smiled at Myra and kissed the top of her hand before responding. "Customers indeed. I always enjoy your company Myra, especially when you bring me business!" He laughed heartily and opened the case. "I found some multi-colored ones Myra, I figured you would appreciate them for your girls' jewelery."

I rubbed my fingers and grumbled, stupid Fox was going to end up six feet under if she wasn't careful. I put my attention towards Jeremy who was painting his skin with the dying mans blood. I was slightly disturbed. "Do you need the energy? I mean the moonstones aren't that far away, don't need to torture the poor peace of trash any more then we need to." I nealed down next to Jeremy. As much as I didn't like the poor sod lying on the groud he was only fallowing his orders. "Tell you what, if you don't take this guys energy then the next guy you chop up you can have all his life energy." I patted Jeremy on the back lightly. "Besides I find this really creepy so I don't want to watch it." I stood to my full hight. And watched the Fox and nymph start to walk away, I decided that I wanted moonshones more then staying next to a dead body so I trecked after the two women. "Come on, Jeremy, long term energy is more important then dead man energy." I fallowed the girls into a rugged little shop set out of the way, crystals of all kinds filled the store.

Jeremy's master had crouched down next to him, patting his back after making a promose. Damn, next time? It's pretty rare for Jeremy to be able to kill someone. "Well, would put him out of his misery, sir. However, if thee say one shouldn't then one will not." As Jeremy finished his words, Jeremy slowly raised from standing. "Besides, Sir. Absorbing life energy allows one's body to become more lifelike. Moonstones just keep the body together. Oh well."

Jeremy followed behind the group, dragging his scythe across the floor, causing scraping sounds and a long trail to be carved into the ground. He was obviously tired, even swinging the scythe uses energy, which can be dangerous if it happens too much.
Once the group had entered the shop, Jeremy stood at the back, next to the door, holding his scythe up and using it as a way to hold himself steady. Checking out his reflextion in one of the glass cases, seeing that he had decorated his face for war perfectly.

Alaena wandered the shop staring at just about everything looking for what she wanted. She wasn't looking all that hard since her thoughts kept wandering to her temporary companions. i heard Asher call her Myra? it doesn't take much to tell she can wrap anyone around her little finger if she wanted to. she knows it too. Alaena already knew that Asher was a stereo-typical prince who thought he should be high and mighty no matter the situation. the real enigma was the zombie. she knew very little about him and would prefer she stopped learning about him. Alaena picked up a rather cheap looking notepad and decided she would hunt for the wooden figure later. It was a rather small figure of a beautiful women a friend of hers was interested in awhile ago. she headed for the counter and purchased the notepad and immediately left the shop.

As she left she immediately ducked into an alley way and took a series of turns in a very random order. she stopped and waited around a corner waiting to see if she was followed. her friend was a very shy person and was afraid of meeting new people. so taking such a route was necessary to make sure her companions didn't follow her. She pulled out her switch blade and twiddled with it out of reflex, in case someone tried to mug her. i'm pretty sure i could handle them without it but a piece of steel in hand tends to deter most thugs. Alaena waits a couple more minutes before headed off toward the more decrepit part of the slums.

(I apologies greatly for not posting yesterday. I swear that it wont happen to often.)

I watched as the fox ran off. Damn I would have to find an other way to get that car I wanted. I huffed, such a pain. This shop keeper was clearly wrapped around Myra's little finger, I rolled my eyes and walked around the shop looking for the damned moonstones. I really wanted to get out of the slums. I all ready had one dead body lying in the street, I didn't need any more.
"Well, I hope you do find what you want. I have to leave though. Will I be seeing you at the mayor's ball?" My immediate response was no. I walked over to the case that I saw Myra take some stones out of... and seeing as that she had come for moonstones I guessed they where their. "Sorry sweet heart, we aren't ..." I was cut off by my c-band rang. No one called me... that is unless it was bad news. I looked at the ID that showed up, blocked number... Most likely my father. What did he want, he wasn't supposed to contact me directly. I answered the call any way, if isn't important then I am going to freak.
"SON!" My fathers jolly voice bellowed over the c-band. His face, unlike my own was fully bearded and grey just like the hair on top his head I was told once that he had the same hair colour as me... I got my eyes and scales from my mom, was projected out of the band. I mentally banged my head on the near by wall.
"Dad... Mind keeping it down I am in public." I forced my self to smile. I watched my father say a silent 'oh'
"Well, I thought I would let you know that I am sending you out tonight." I looked at my father confused. "I think you are aware of the ball being held by the new Mayor of Haven." I suddenly wasn't impressed. My father wanted me to keep everything on a down low and he was sending me to meet the mayor............ "You will be going as a representative of the Merpeople so I expect you to be on your best behavior." I cursed under my breath that meant that I couldn't punch a idiot for being a idiot while I was their and by the sounds of the way he was talking I had to go. "Don't worry no one will know who you are, and as I know my son the best" he really didn't know me that well my mom probably told him something "What would you like in return for this?" I perked up at the sound of that. I put on my best smile, the one that always worked with everyone in my family, whom where all a bunch of hard asses.
"A car, four doors, five seats. I also want a my monthly income doubled next month." I paused to think for a moment "I also want the car to be dark purple in colour and not some cheep thing you can find at a used car dealers."
"The car will be at your apartment when you get back. I'll talk to your mother about the monthly income." I grinned, YES! "And, Asher, stay safe." With that my father hung up, I did the same.
"Yeah hear that Jeremy, the robe and bike issue!" I turned to face Myra "It seams that you will be seeing us." I grabbed as many moonstones as I could and put them on the counter and paid for them all.

Jeremy, who was standing near the door, simply listened in on the conversations. The shopkeeper seemed to be a good friend of the Nymph, and the police woman had purchased some random figurine or something and disappeared back into the streets of the slums. Well, that didn't matter, what did matter was trying to keep himself up.

Jeremy's body was weakening, he used too much energy from reanimating himself in the morning and then summoning his scythe, how long did he have left? 3.5 hours, maybe. From all of this magic usage, Jeremy was basically running on fumes. Gripping hard on his scythe to keep himself stood, it wouldn't be long until his arms fell off, they aren't connected in the first place, they are simply held in place by the same magical force which holds the bones of skeleton warriors in place.

Master was contacted, talking about some ball or something. At least master had gotten his way, yet again, he's such a father leecher.
"Yeah hear that Jeremy, the robe and bike issue!" Master called out, towards the swaying Jeremy.
"Yes, seems one may not have to worry about it. About this ball, permission to wear one's warpaint? And robes. Or will one have to make an 'image'."

Alaena was wandering the Alleys when her C-band started beeping. she looked down and saw her partners number and answered it. A rough looking face covered in scars appeared on screen. "Alaena! Hurry up and get back to the station! We got a new job. a good one too, who would have thought we would be on protection detail for the mayor?" Alaena face twisted into a smirk "How much boot-licking did you do to get this kind of job, john?"
"shaddup will ya? half the department is being pulled for this. apparently there is a huge ball the mayor is throwing and we got to make sure all ends well. we also got to handle guest escort duty as well." John shook his head trying to comprehend the situation. "Apparently we are stuck with a guy who entered the list last minute. An 'Asher Williams'. Haven't heard of him before.. wonder if he's some big politician from Olympia." Alaena brow furrowed as she heard the name of the big-headed, smart-mouth's name. "when are we supposed to deploy?" Alaena asked in a tone that stated she was NOT happy. John's relaxed mood disappeared soon after when as he noticed. "I take it you know more then your letting on. anyways we are supposed to deploy ASAP. If you got your gear then head to the address I'm sending you." Alaena Already knew where she was headed. "I'll see you there." she muttered and hanged up. She made a dash in the direction of Asher's apartment. It was a bit far but she knew she could make it about the same time as her partner.

I got a real bad feeling about this. Alaena thought to herself as she sped up her run into a sprint. If Asher was going to be involved at a big event then it's clear someone is pulling strings that aren't meant to be pulled. But who is pulling the strings? It can't be my boss... The Mayor? maybe. after all i know as much about him as i know about that nymph. just as soon as the nymph popped into her head did Alaena barrel head first into her. As they went sprawling across the cement Alaena let out some extreme profanity. not out of pain but out of her own stupidity. She was normally more aware of her surroundings and wouldn't have crashed head first into someone. getting up she started bolting into another sprint.
"sorry Myra! got some business that can't wait so you'll have to get up on your own!" Alaena barely looked back as she regained her speed. mentally bashing her head in for doing something so stupid. She saw the apartment complex just a few blocks away so she slowed down her sprint to a jog. slowly regaining her breath as she mentally prepared herself for the hell that was escort duty. to an obnoxious jackass to boot. She enjoyed her job but escorting a dignitary or a politician who did stupid things simply because and asks the people that have to keep them alive to "relax" just pissed her off. It was the same with every protection detail she was stuck with. She squared her shoulders and trudged on towards the building. Hoping Asher would have some brains in this situation.

I handed Jeremy some moonstones seeing as I had grabbed quite a few of them, and started to walk back the my apartment. "I am going to say we need to make a image. My father... no wait my mother will most likely kill me if I don't try to look my best and blah blah blah. Speaking of her killing me," I handed the card Myra had handed to me over to Jeremy "Destroy that, I don't care how, just do it." I felt a shiver go down my spine at the thought of my mother ever finding out that I had gotten that card. If I had my way she would never find out... "We could pick you up a suit that you could enchant or something..." I suggested, it was worth a shot, then maybe Jeremy might wear pants, but I doubted that he would agree the stiff clothes. My C-band vibrated letting me know I had received a text. I looked at it quickly, and smirked. "looks like our Fox is going to be our "protection" detail." I snickered to my self. Once we had gotten close enough to the exit of the slums I opened up my C-band to see if I could summon my new car yet, and in fact I could, and then I did. Their was no way I was walking back after having walked here. "Summoning the car, it will take a minute for it to get here, but once it dose put that thing away. I have a feeling we might need it for the stupid ball we have to go to." I half grumbled. The car better be worth the trouble I was going threw. If I went threw more I would have to talk to my dad, again, and that would most likely gain the attention of my mother and I didn't want that, I really didn't.

Myra waited patiently for the taxi to pull to the curb. She started making a mental schedule for the rest of her day, and tried to fit in finding the appropriate woman for Asher. As she was about to use her phone-WAM. Myra found herself on the ground, looking up to Alaena. With a exasperated sigh, she waved Alaena off to her business and stood up again. As the taxi lulled in front of her, she wiped off her skirts and huffed her way into the taxi. Must have been really important business for her to plow me over like that. Myra almost had enough curiosity to follow the officer, but her schedule did not have any room for delays. She told the driver her address to the club where her ladies would be, there was no time to finalize flower arrangements, and they were on their way.

As she arrived at the club, Myra's head began to whirl with excitement. Not only did her ladies now have new gowns and jewelery, but a few were also attending the ball with her. This not only was a wonderful promotional opportunity, but Myra would be able to see her ladies in action once again, something she hadn't been able to witness in a while.

Myra opened the doors of her building to a low lit room and the soft noises of a business preparing itself for the day. She waved to the bartender and lighting crew, and made her way into the back hall. This part of the building was her favorite. High, pearly ceilings draped in red fabric, chandeliers cascading down the hall, it was the perfect room to start a romance. Her ladies idled in one of the corner rooms, which was used for dressing and makeup, until Myra called for them. With a delighted and excited buzz of emotions, Myra began her "go gettum" speech.

-Gabriel-

Gabriel damn near jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice call out from the other balcony. She turned and saw a Pooka. Gabriel began sizing them up rather quickly from her experiences as an ambassador. At first glance one might mistaken him for a girl, but the way he holds himself is gives it away. As Gabriel was processing all the details of this strange person two things came very apparent. First was the way he held himself. His stance suggested he was well trained in combat, leaving no openings. Anyone who had any sort of combat training would spot this. Second thing she noticed was his earring which marked him as the strongest fighter in his clan.

It took all of gabriel's will from bolting at the very moment she made eye contact with the pooka. She oh so desperately wanted to but if he was going to be at the ball this moment was very crucial. She carefully formed her words as she prepared to exit. "Hello there. Are you by chance going to the mayor's ball? If you are then it may be that we'll see each other again. I'm afraid I am still preparing to go so I must bid you adieu." No sooner did she finished saying this did she head towards the door to her apartment. As she entered she called out to Cerise. "I hope you picked out the dress, I got to leave, soon!"
Cerise walked out of Gabriel's room as she heard this, giving a puzzled reaction. "What do you mean soon? You don't have to be ready for another hour." Exasperated Gabriel hurriedly explained what happened. "Now hurry up and tell me if everything is ready!" she ended up barking out as got even more and more anxious to avoid a longer conversation with the pooka next door.

"All right. The dress is laid out on the bed. I'll get the vehicle ready and meet you out on the balcony."
Gabriel gave a sigh of relief as Cerise left and entered her room. The dress was a pale red, almost pink. It wasn't all that flashy and kept everything modest. Long sleeves that went to the wrists and a full skirt that went to her ankles. If Gabriel didn't like wearing finery she probably would end up wearing dresses like this more often. She approached the bed and started to change into the dress.

-Alaena-

Alaena reached out and knocked on Asher's door. "Asher Williams? this is officer Jones and my partner officer Smith. We are to be your escorts to the ball." Alaena really didn't like this part of her job and would prefer it if she was sent straight to the ball and did security detail. But her boss did a mass of budget cuts and dropped quite a few officers in the process leaving a lot of people on extra shift work.
John looked down the hall and muttered. "Weren't their two other guests in this building?" Alaena smirked a little at her partners comment. "I did some background checking on those two. Turns out both of them are rather good at defending themselves. One is also marked as a low priority guest while the other adamantly refused any escorts whatsoever. Fine by me, after all it's our boss who is making the mistake."
"that is true i guess. But still... I got this nagging feeling that something bad is about to happen"
Alaena grimaced at her partner's words "Better make sure that nothing bad happens then right? After all we are the ones making sure this thing goes smoothly."

Jeremy followed Asher into the apartment, listening to his grumbling and shouting as he vigorously dressed in his new suit. It's understandable why he's angry, the two had spent a long time arguing in that store. Especially with Jeremy being a picky person, apparently they didn't make baggy suits which cover the body as one piece of clothing. Well, that makes sense, doing that would turn it into robes. Which are exactly what Jeremy always wore.

"Sir, thou should calm down. We do not want thee to be infuriated at this party, would give thy people a bad figure. Would thou need one to keep an eye on thee at the party?"

~Finn~

The demon girl seamed to have not have noticed me when I came out and jumped when I spoke to her. I watched as she took in my appearance. I took notice on how she didn't seam to want to stick around, I pouted slightly, and here I was hoping to make a friend before the ball.
"Hello there. Are you by chance going to the mayor's ball? If you are then it may be that we'll see each other again. I'm afraid I am still preparing to go so I must bid you adieu." As soon as she started to speak she left for here apartment, I didn't even have a chance to reply. It seamed I would see here at the ball any way, perhaps I could get to know her there. I smiled at the thought, having friends in other countries would be nice, it would give my uncle reason to send me away. Keeping relations and so on. With that thought I left the balcony and my apartment. I decided to walk to the ball, it would be best. It would take me a while after all.

~Asher

"Sir, thou should calm down. We do not want thee to be infuriated at this party, would give thy people a bad figure. Would thou need one to keep an eye on thee at the party?" I groaned and rubbed my face at Jeremy's word. He was right, calm down, I had a image to portray now.
"Yes, Jeremy, keep a eye or two out. Parties like this are always trouble." I looked over to the door once I heard a knock fallowed by the fox speaking threw it. "Asher Williams? this is officer Jones and my partner officer Smith. We are to be your escorts to the ball." I grinned daw, the fox cares. I heard some muffled talking threw the door and motioned for Jeremy to get the door. There was no way I was going to answer it. Many years of having to deal with kidnappers as a kid taught me that, let the servant lie saying I wasn't in the room, at the time I would have hid or run away. Now I would just beat the crap out of who ever thought it was smart to try and get me, though I highly doubt that the little fox was here to attempt such at thing.

Nodding gently, Jeremy head over to the door. "One will sommon the scythe once us has arrived." He stated before turning to the door. Hearing the muffled words of the officer, that bitch. She didn't seem like the likable type, but at least they could hopefully bump into the Nymph girl once they arrive.

Opening the door slowly, Jeremy spoke. "One can escort one's master." He spoke with spite towards the officers. Feeling a little annoyed already due to the fact he couldn't spend more lone time with his master.

It wouldn't be surprising to see the officers jump at Jeremy's appearance. He still had the 'warpaint' (blood) over his face in fancy patterns. That's the best an old age necromancer could do to look good.

Alaena

Alaena smiled gently as she saw Jeremy open the door with a blood-smeared face. her partner on the other hand damn near had a heart attack and drew his gun. "what the blazes is on your face!?" Alaena started chuckling and turned to her partner "it seems that Asher's bodyguard is a tad eccentric." Turning back to Jeremy she spoke plainly. "this isn't by your choice or mine. my boss gave the order to ensure that Asher remains unharmed until he gets to the ball. put it simply one of us will have to remain in your vehicle while the other follows in the cruiser. if you have a problem with that you will have to take it up with my superiors. otherwise we got no choice and nor do you." she waves to her partner to go to the cruiser and gently forces herself past jeremy. "since my partner is about as likely to shoot you as he is to do his job i will be joining you. As much as I know you two like to have alone time, my job is on the line so it is preferred that your protesting be brought to a minimum."

Gabriel

Gabriel sat on the couch waiting patiently for Cerise to get the vehicle up to the balcony. the dress was the perfect size and fit her perfectly. she hoped it wasn't too flashy. afterall the last time she did one ambassador tried to get her to sleep with him. it didn't end very well for him or his lackey's but it kind of ruined the event. Gabriel's thoughts drifted over to when her mother scolded her about it. it wasn't the harshest she had heard her but it was certainly a surprise. a car horn interrupted her reverie and she looked over to the balcony. seeing the car hovering next to the balcony Gabriel darted for it. in under a few seconds, Gabriel had opened the back seat door and practically jumped into the back seat. "let's go." Gabriel said as she started her mental preparation for the upcoming talks with just about every ambassador besides herself.

~The Ball!~
(because let us all face it we need this to get going a little bit faster)

~Asher~

I cracked my neck and rolled my shoulders as we entered the ball. I put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder "Don't pull out the scythe unless it is absolutely necessary. We are to make a impression, not scare them all shitless." I whispered to Jeremy as we walked down the red carpet that had been belted off so that guest could get into the party with out being surrounded by the paparazzi after all many of the people here where ether famous, politicians or both. I smiled my most charming smile as waved to the flashing lights. "Stay close" where my final words as I removed my hand from his shoulder. I couldn't care less about the fox and her partner now. They had finished their escorting, and I had no longer need of them. Jeremy could handled pathetic paparazzi if need be.

~Finn~

The many flashing lights nearly blinded me as I walked briskly past a dark haired barely-adult merman and a robed man that smelt of death. I had no intention of staying out side for the large crowed that where calling for certain people to come to them. I didn't want to get to involved with these people. They seamed loud and pushy. I handed a guard at the door my invitation and they smiled and let me in. The inside was like nothing I have ever seen.
Image (a little something like this because I am to lazy to describe what it looks like. Only the one in the RP is a LOT bigger.)
I wondered vaguely if this is what human architecture looked like. The room had high ceiling and the ball room had a balcony on the second floor so that you could watch from above. The room was all ready filling with people, they all looked like to be high end officials. From every corner of the world, and that was saying something seeing as that planets are round.
