Name: Kural a.k.a. The Hermit Mage
Age: Appears in his early twenties, but his actual age is closer to a thousand.
Gender: Male
Race: Elf
Class: Mage
Weapon: Carries a long, black wood staff on his back. The staff is primarily just a defensive measure and nothing more.
Armor type: None
Animal form: N/A
Main Element(s): Kural is a master in manipulating light and dark magic to create an entirely new form of combined magic. Using the two conflicting elements to negate each other he has created the magic of everything and nothing,
Void Magic. Based on how Kural describes it, "It allows the caster to be imperceptible in every way, alter the memories of entire nations of people, and even spells that allow one to speak directly with the Deities themselves." Though, whether or not this is true is unknown. He has been shown to be able to create real illusions. This power is a form of reality-warping but the illusion must be preconceived before the power is manifested the physical/real world. Seemingly, Kural can use this ability without having the illusion to appear in the physical/real world, but only in the mind. Void Magic can only be taught and every caster of light and dark spells has the ability to use it. Though, how they are able to perform it varies depending on how the caster is in tune with the world around them. While the other types of Magic require great mental focus and acceptance of the physical world, Void Magic at its best requires exactly the opposite.
Position: Coronia Hermit
Residence: Live within the Hundreds Years Forest outside of Orithan. Few even know of his existence.
Personality: Due to the type of Magic Kural wields he can't be thought of someone whose mind exists in the real world. To master Void Magic, Kural separated himself from the preconceptions and limitations of the physical world. He has no concept of the impossible and believes anything can be done no matter what, even if it defies every common sense notion. To be like this would make some think he has a degree of arrogance when it would be more accurate to say he has gone mad, at least by what is considered to be the norm.
Other: After several weeks of searching, a group of elite Galandra Soldiers found Kural's home, his magical power conflicting with the forests to allow the men to finally escape the endless wandering through the forest. Kural went willingly to see King Regulus. Due to Kural's inability to form preconceptions, Regulus' character did not effect Kural. Regulus told Kural that Gabriel was a threat to Galandra and was seeking to build an army to overtake the throne. He told Kural he would be paid handsomely, however Kural declined. Since real world luxuries or desires did not appeal to him, he has decided to find Gabriel out of his own curiosity. He cannot take Regulus' word for it about Gabriel, but wishes to stop a war if he can.
