Felix is a socially-awkward teenage boy who prefers solace and silence. He's not had much positive interaction with other human beings and prefers to stay out of sight, away from the pressures of awkward conversation.
Social conflicts aside, Felix is naturally happy, unable to say a wrong thing about another person; he could say everything positive about Charles Manson. It's easy to see that fighting tears him up inside, and he wishes with all his might that he could get away from it, away from the dark rooms, and the stuffy rings, and the iron smell of freshly drawn blood, blood that was pumping not moments ago...
