Name: Gambrill
Age: 125
Gender: Male
Occupation: Terror Brigade
Appearance:
to offer a more modern comparison heās the size of a large trailer house and the picture came with the cute mini version so enjoy him as a baby! *tries to cuddle and is mauled* Oh dear sweet mercy!
Abilties/Skills: Gambrillās job is simple enough, scare the masses into following the Queenās rule. Heās sent into villages or wherever his higher up pleases to send him and causes chaos until they bend to the will of the Queen. What is more terrifying than the bellowing roar of a dragon, his fiery breath burning down your home as his huge wings threaten to blow you from where you stand? Although he is good at what he does, the true question is, does he enjoy it? It would seem every time lives burn away at his claws a pained expression comes over him but what could this mean? Does he support the rebels secretly?
Strengths: What would a dragon be without his fire breathing?! His strong scales, powerful wings and large size work to his advantage as well.
Weaknesses: He is blind in his right eye and often neglects to stay alert with his other senses to watch for danger on this side. On the ground, his large size keeps him from maneuvering well and leaves him vulnerable. His conflict of morals often leaves him balking in the middle of an attack which has left him with a few nasty scars from villagers coming to protect their homes.
Personality: A relatively quiet individual but if given the opportunity would adore the chance to regale you with a story from his past. He always tends to stay away from others and let them seek him out but that doesnāt mean that every now and then heāll feel the need to go find a soul to talk to. His favorite company is children and no, not because he eats them, their love of stories always kept him amused and it ends in him having a soft spot for young ones or hatchlings as he calls them. Gambrill is actually one to stay away from battles and only fight if it is a last option. Over the course of his long life heās decided that staying away from the action is the best road to take but now forced into the Queenās service he has taken on the role of a vicious monster. Ready to strike whenever commanded, heāll burn entire fields, strike down innocents by the dozens to command respect by fear in the name of the Queen but itās only by force that he has taken on this role. Inside still lurks the quiet, storytelling gentle giant he truly is.
Equipment: Gambrill has no need to carry anything with him.
History: The Dragon was once never known for anything more than stealing sheep from time to time, never harming a soul and even offering his wisdom to those who would travel the distance to see him at his secluded cave by the sea. Now though his legend has twisted and when you speak of the Dragon, you speak of terror, of raging fires and broken families. This once gentle being has turned on the land but not by his own means.
Gambrill in his long life watched many things unfold and with the death of the King, he watched as the Queenās hoards grew closer and closer to his once secluded home. Soon they were upon him but he didnāt want to leave the only place heād known. For the first time in a long time, Gambrill stood his ground and fought. It was a lost cause as the sheer numbers and the small space of the cave worked against him and soon he was captured, his mouth chained shut so his fire breathing was useless. He had been defeated and after muchā¦persuasion, Gambrill agreed to work for the Queen.
