Personality- A wild rabid wolf would be the most appropriate thing to compare James to. He is strong and a natural at tracking. Yet however he is at heart a good person with no other opportunity. He would have preferred not to join the Hunger Games, but he needs to to survive. He suffers from a hereditary condition that slowly destroys the body's nervous system and he is the latest member of his family. However unlike the rest of his family his disease is progressing more rapidly than anyone else and he probably will die within five years. James however learned that the Capitol might have a cure for the disease available to it's residents. So he trained for several years by himself so that he can win and maybe find the cure he needs.
