Occupation: Michaelās occupation is a slave, if you can call it one.
Languages: He knows his own feral tongue as well as a good bit of the common dialect from working amongst humans for so long but heās still difficult to understand and at times difficult to get to understand you.
Motto: āHmph.ā Yea, heās not really one for words unless you know him.
APPEARANCE
Description: Michael has black fur from snout to toe, his hair is grown out long with a few braids here and there as well as some trinkets threaded into the long strands. His eyes are a pale yellow that many have compared to the moon on some nights. Michaelās wardrobe tends to change with ownership but recently heās merely been sporting a loin cloth, it helps with the savage look if he remembers what his master had said. His current master, as well as most others who wish him to look āfierceā allow him to wear adornments such as bands, ear rings, rings and other jewelry from his homeland to help in his savage native look to scare others away.
Specialty Weapon: Generally Michael relies on his tooth and nail but he does enjoy knives if theyāre handy.
Armor: Despite the fact heās almost always guarded someone or something heās never been offered or given armor.
Backpack: Michael likes to carry a large skinning knife, dried meat and bottled drink if heās able but generally he carries otherās loads.

Skills:
Intimidation- Sounds simple but when he curls those lips to show his fangs, make the hair on his back stand on end and flatten his ears then youād understand.
One man show- He could run a ship by himself if you really needed him to. No, itās not bragging itās the sheer fact heās had every job there is to have on a ship and although heās not the best by far at all of them he can help you out in a sticky situation if your navigator goes overboard.
Long run ā This is a guy that can go and go and go and go. Maybe itās the wolf in him but it takes a lot to wear him out so donāt worry too much about working him too hard.
Use the wind ā Michael can smell or hear a threat before most.
Weaknesses:
Feral ā The very fact that Michael is a feral is a great weakness to him. It keeps him from accomplishing much and from making social contacts
Unknown ā Michael is strong, thereās no doubt to that, heās been in captivity for decades but he can still remember freedom. He fears the unknown greatly though and how much what he remembers has changed. This fear cripples him and keeps him tethered to his position.
Right Hip ā It takes a lot to hurt Michael, he's one tough customer, but his right hip is his Achilles' heel if you will. When he was very young and just brought into slavery he was beaten until it shattered and without having it properly looked at or healed itās now a sore spot for him. Most days heāll only have a noticeable limp without pain but if it gets too cold or if he suffers a severe blow to the area then you can just say heās down for the count.
Perks:
Marathon Runner ā As stated before Michael can work for hours but quite literally, just as his wolf brethren, he can run for days at a time if need be.
Tooth and Nail ā Mauling is what he does best when on the offense. One good swipe from his wicked claws will see your face split in half.
Call of the Wild ā Michaelās bellowing roar when heās angry is definitely something to behold. Heās accomplished scaring off foes twice his size with the intensity of it.
Special Qualities: Asides being a scary looking wolf-man walking around, Michael can quite literally do whatever needs to be done and, generally, will not question you. He stands out as an asset because heāll lend a hand to whomever and however.
MENTALITY
Personality:
Michael is a conflicted individual but honestly who isnāt? He despises being in captivity but fears freedom and what awaits for him should he ever succeed in escape. Generally Michael is solemn and keeps to himself, just as he was always taught. It is a golden rule to most slaves to not speak unless you are spoken to and when you do speak it must be direct and to the point and of course, always polite. He can switch from quietly standing in a corner on second to raging towards an opponent the next if you order him to so it seems his mood depend on what his being told to do but truly, if one knows him, Michael is giving and loving despite his horrid life.
Now, this is not to say heās going around making flower necklaces for any, damn, body. Michaelās opinion of individuals is based on how he sees them treat others. It doesnāt matter if someone screams at him all day, if he sees that theyāre kind to their family and strangers after they get done then theyāre ok in his book because after all heās a slave and this is what heās here for. No, he doesnāt like the abuse, hates it in fact but thatās what his position calls for and whatās he to do about it? Of course he is quite partial if someone is to show him kindness, in fact heāll become very quickly attached to anyone who seems to want to even attempt to be some sort of friend with him.
When anyone does become a friend of Michaelās then theyāll see how eager he is about everything around him. He isnāt the assumed dumb mutt just standing quietly in a corner waiting to be told what to do, he watches everything around him very closely and eats up anything new that he can learn. His favorite thing to do is read, which heās awful at but he loves when he has help at it, he enjoys learning how to speak common tongue better, drawing and listening to music. Michael will happily share these things with his friends and is just as happy to help his loved ones achieve whatever they desire. This causes Michael to be gullible in his excitement over acceptance and has burned him in the past but it never seems he learns from it.
Secrets:
Reading- He has two books he carries around with him secretly. As a slave, reading is forbidden to him and any sort of education but heāll risk the punishment.
Blood on His Hands- When he was young; one of his masters came home in a drunken stupor and unprovoked began beating him. The young feral lashed out and without knowing his own strength killed the man. Without knowing what to do, he ran to the house of a wealthy woman in the area who had, oddly enough, always been rather kind to him. It hadnāt occurred to him to run away and when he ran to her she protected him from the guards by paying them off.
Goals:
Knowledge- It might seem small but heād love to one day be able to read and properly speak. Maybe it would be a good step to acceptance.
Family- The most impossible for him, heād want to have a family one day.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Brief History:
Michael was born into a small family group of other ferals just like him on the Shattered Isles. They were isolated from everything and everyone, living a simple life off of the land. His parents and extended family were very loving and from them he learned a good deal about nature, hunting and family.
When he turned ten, still just a young pup, humans somehow found their little slice of paradise and Michaelās world was turned upside down. He watched his mother and father die protecting him, he was bagged along with any other pups in his group to take back as souvenirs. When he thinks back on it he supposes it wasnāt the fact he was young that saved him but the oddity of him and the cute puppy appeal that this men believed would sell for big money.
The men were right and soon the pups were sold off to masters. Michael was given his name that day when he met his first master, a woman by the name of Anna. He couldnāt remember his real name now; no matter how hard he would try. Anna was decent enough to him but treated him as if he were a brainless animal; he truly didnāt think she understood he had cognitive abilities. She would dress him up, play with him, put him on a leash and all of it was frightening. His parents were gone, his very way of life.
Michael had allowed Anna to do with him as she pleased for several weeks, maybe he was in shock? Honestly he couldnāt tell you now but something flipped inside of him when she reached for him inside of his cage that morning and he bit her hand. She cried and a man stormed in soon after, a man Michael had only seen on a few occasions before. The stranger tore him from his cage and beat Michael until his hip was destroyed. Now that it seemed her new pet was useless and twisted they sold him off for a low bid to an old man.
From here was where Michael began his real work as a slave and was conditioned to obey orders. Allowing him just enough time to heal until he could walk, the man then began drilling in what was expected of him and offering up punishments when there was a slip up. It seemed this man had much experience in training up slaves on how to behave.
After he was āperfectedā Michael bounced from place to place, ship to ship, warehouse to warehouse. He learned much along the way but never enough to satiate him. There was always more he wanted to know but was never allowed. If he was only free then he could learn and do as much as he wanted but that was so long ago when he was last doing things of his own choice. How would the free world be toward him now?
