Cain Rigel, from The Greater Good?, a roleplay on RPG

At the age of 19 Cain is a decently large young man, most of his bulk was made up of his considerable height. He caps at 6Ft2 with decently broad shoulders that give an impression of strength. He is, however slim otherwise and lacks the muscle that would be expected from someone of his stature. His hair is a dark brown and is short although it is usually tied up at the back of his skull, without looking idiotic. His eyes were originality a bright hazel, but after his infection they reopened as a stunningly vibrant green with slit pupils, very much like cat eyes. His features are friendly and open, he has been called, by several people, a big teddy bear.

As suggested by his odd eyes, the virus left Cain with extraordinary sight. Not only is it generally much keener then that of the other survivors but it also extends beyond the simple visible light spectrum, allowing him to be able to see into both ultraviolet and infrared. A more unusual addition to his sight is the ability to look into a person's eyes and deduce whether their intentions are good or bad.

Personality

Cain is stubborn and steadfast, following firmly what he believes is right and wrong. He had always set himself goals, step by step procedures, for his whole life. He also has a decent intellect, and could detail every step of his goals. He was never the most social of people, as his plans did not appeal to many others. His view of people is quite defined, fitting them into ordered descriptions and only a few people put up with this generalisation to break through Cain's stereotype and to be on familiar terms with him. While he still retains his ordered lifestyle he appears as a particularly caring and nice guy to these few, and will go to extra lengths to protect and assist those he cares about. He can steel himself particularly well when it comes to doing less savoury of tasks, meaning he becomes almost robotic in his actions although a single word could break this temporary shell.

Now that the life of the world is decimated Cain is particularly aimless, unable to follow the patterns he has had all his life. This makes him more vulnerable and more personable then otherwise. Presently he is searching for an aim, something that can be defined for him to pursue.

Equipment

There is plenty around and Cain is not averse to scavenging from the dead. He prefers to wear decently smart clothes, but doesn't dress stupidly for whatever task is at hand.
