Though he does like to party and have a good time with friends. He is polite and well-mannered due to his upbringing. He is strong and will stand up for his beliefs, he is a leader not a follower.
History:
James Anthony Maine was born into a wealthy family. The third born of five. Jay’s father was a pro football player for, but due to an injury he retired. He was raised in an extremely structured family, from the time he was three years old everything from naps to play dates were planned for him and at five years old he started his football career following in the footsteps of his two older brothers. Jay never quite fit into his highly active sports family. His four other brothers seemed to love sports, yet when he started to paint as a hobby he became less involved in sports and more involved in painting. His father didn’t allow it.
The Maine family was breed for football. His father forced him into football. His father would threaten to kill him and on occasion would get physical with Jay when he argued about playing. For two years James and his father would fight, the fights were brutal leaving James with black eyes and bruised ribs. Eventually Jay stopped arguing for his mother’s sake and stopped painting all together and focused solely on football. He quickly rose to the star of his high school’s football team. Now he’s got several colleges looking to give him a full ride scholarship and he’s easily better than his four brothers, Jay wants to keep the peace for his mother’s sake, but is it worth his own happiness.
Other:
-Jay’s fights with his father landed him in the hospital on a few occasions, but every time his father would force him to lie about the cause of his injuries.
-No one knows how cruel Jay’s father really is. Not even Jay’s mother.
