Tide is a strong, caring motherly person. She is very quiet but exudes a sense of calm and patience. She is very self conscious and tries extremely hard not to be a bother to others. She doesn't know how she is going to bring herself to kill another being it simply is not in her nature.
Skills:
Strong, fast swimmer. Can hold her breath for a very long time(upwards of 3 minutes) . Can use nets(including making her own through knot work) , spears, tridents, knives, and has learned to use a bow to shoot fish in shallow water. She is gifted with the ability of stealth and camouflage. very agile and has very keen senses.
Weaknesses:
Slight build means she can be hurt easily. She has a strong moral compass which makes it extremely difficult to see someone in pain (she will try to help them)/ kill someone. Easily susceptible to survivors guilt.

History:
Tide was born to a lower middle class fishing family in district 4, she has 3 younger sisters who she loves dearly and will protect with her life. She always knew that being in the hunger games was a possibility but never thought much of it until one of her close friends was chosen to be part of the games in a previous year. ever since then she began practicing her natural skills while she worked long hours on her families boat and in the shallow waters of the ocean catching crab. when her father was injured in a fishing accident she took the full load of the work and even with her long hours and tireless dedication she wasn't fully able to support her whole family thus forcing her to take tesserae to help support them.
How they got in the Hunger Games:
Was drawn to go. She was the oldest of her families children and had to take tesserae to help support them.
