"I want that horse ASAP." Tristan looked at Thomas sternly. "Alena could possibly in danger at this moment. I can't let that happen. You don't understand. I think... I think I love her." "Spoke out of line? You should do that more often. Thanks kid." Tristan winked at the messenger boy, jumped on the saddle, flicked the reins and sped off in the distance. A trail of dust remained as the horse galloped at full speed. The horse seemed to lead Tristan to Alena. It was headed south.
A snake hissed across the path, yet it was the snake that scared Luna it was the wild cats growl. Alena froze and all was still. Then suddenly Luna reared back knocking Alena from the saddle. She hit the ground with a whimper and a shudder. Luna stayed close but remained spooked and alert. Alena was in to much pain to be afraid any more.
The horse raced faster and faster until moment later he saw something laying in the road... And a horse? He flicked the reins, the horse reared and ran faster until finally he came across the princess who was laying in the road. Tristan jumped off and helped her up. "Alena! What in the world are you doing out here all alone? We were going to go together! You can't be out her by yourself. We both know that. Not only that but you are royal blood, you should have knights or guards or-" He paused and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry Princess. I was just worried."

Alena turned into his warmth nuzzling his chest gently her skin cool. She closed her eyes and whispered, "thank you." For the fiest time since she left she felt safe. She grippes to him scared to let go. "Forgive me. I didnt want your mother upset with me. I was thinking of you." Luna trotted back and stood next to Sundara. She too felt safe with the other horse.

She moved closer into his arms and grinned. Alena was happy and safe. Suddenly the wild cats roar sounded through the trees. Luna and Sundara both began to panic uncomfortable. "Tristan..." Alena mumbled.
Tristan looked around for the sound of wild cats emitting from the trees. "Maybe we should go..." He whispered. Slowly he led Alena over to her horse, then mounted Sundara. "We're going to sprint south, as fast as these horses can go. We'll lose them in no time."
