| Fun Sized | - Being 14 means he is smaller and could fit into many places his sister couldn't. So, when they are scavenging for things and his sister can't get it because of her size Elijah will be happy to get it for her.
| A Need For Speed | - Elijah size is also important because, he is faster than many older people. So, when his sister is fighting off the infected he can run as far and as fast as she wanted him to go and hide until she is done. Though on good days, he is able to help her fight instead of run.
Personality:
Elijah is distant to everyone but, his sister. When meeting someone new he will not speak, he will not trust, and he will not communicate with some he isn't familiar with. It's just a certain thing he had to pick up to keep himself strong after losing his parents and his best friend.
Elijah is pretty intelligent for a kid his age. He'd think of things that his sister wouldn't ever think he knew about. Even if she was keeping something away or secret from him, he'd figure it out in a few seconds.
Being a 14 year old in a world like this is rather saddening and depressing to Elijah and it makes him lose hope of thinking the world will be like it was before. He lost everything because of the things in his world, though he doesn't understand how all this has happened, he has a few creative ideas of who could have done something to make the world so dead. He is a smart kid after all.
Physical Description:
He has been attacked a few times by infected and people. One going horizontally up and down his eye from where a robber tried to scare him into giving him his mothers locket which, his sister was luckily there to rescue him. The other scar is a long scratch like scar he got from sliding down the road and scratching up his back trying to ride a bike down a hill to get home before the outbreak. He has a birthmark shaped as a heart under his chin. His sister has a similar one somewhere else.
Weapons:
Though his sister has to hold them, he was taught to use a handgun and a little pocket knife he could long ranged throw at things or fight things with.
History:
Let's just say it happened so fast that Elijah couldn't remember half of it. When Elijah got home -he was still injured from the bike peddling accident-, it looked like the house was ransacked and it didn't seem like anyone was at home. His sister wasn't home at the time because, she had school across town and didn't think she'd be at home until the morning. So, he did what every kid would do in his situation, he called the police but, an alert was on the phone telling everyone to stay inside and lock the doors and that help would be on the way. So, he did what the person on the phone had told him and he closed the door and locked it and ran upstairs and into his closet. He didn't know what happened after that because, he passed out from being scared and woke up from his sister yelling in his ear telling him to get up and come with her. He was so, confused so, scared and that was when he saw it. His parents were dead lying on the floor, they looked sick with something. He yelled at his sister telling her to take them and get them some help but, she said nothing. He never knew what happened to his parents since that day and he never wants to find out.
