Setting
she still had about half an hour left of lunch and as she looked up at the sky she realized it was a perfect day to think. To think about the past, the present... even the future. Diana thought about how school teaches you that these are nothing but tenses, how one cannot simply life in two at the same time.
"that's not true" She said to herself. Diana knew that if she were a teacher she would explain to her pupils that she was 'literally living in the present tense, but metaphorically she was living in the past' because who wants to live a literal life when you have imagination?
Diana's head was always filled with thoughts like these, maybe that's why she didn't fit in so well? But sometimes she liked being a nobody, the freedom of it all. No one to impress or please except herself. Diana hummed a Michael buble song and looked up at the sky again as she let her mind wonder. Now was usually the time that people would start coming out, maybe she would hear some gossip about this night club everyone keeps going on about?
[b]"You're going to make it up to me for knocking me over, or else."] Deliah said to her, and Inari winced, as if being hit just from her tone.
"Y-Y-Yeah, sure, what do you w-want me to do?" Inari whimpered. She just sat there, staring at the angry girl, with eyes like a deer in headlights, as if she was going to get strangled by this classmate. She looked like she was about to cry, but there were no tears, just quivering.
"I-i-i'll do anything, just please don't hurt me..."
i mean "your going to make it up to me for knocking me over, or else?" doesn't sound good right? But sitting up in that tree gave her a perfect perfect spot to view the fight. She didn't usually go and help people like this so why did she want to now... she didn't understand. Sitting in the shadows was what she did best and she wasn't about to ruin in over some silly little girl who got herself into trouble. Yes, she would sit up there and watch and if worst came to worst then she would help!
Diana adjusted the position so there would be no chance of anyone spotting her, and watched as the events folded out!
"Yeah, sure, nobody will hear. I wasn't p-planning on telling anyone anyway." She forced out a small smile, as she thought Deliah might warm up a little to her, if Inari just went along with this plan. Even if she was kinda pressured into doing this, she felt like it would be more fun than what she would normally be doing.
She was gonna follow them in the shadows, like she was best at, and turn up the the night club... i mean, they couldn't send her away then... could they?
