Fayrin

"Oh yeah? You and what army?"

0 · 186 views · located in Hyrule

a character in “The Legend of Zelda: Endless Skies”, as played by MegaKooala12

Description

Image

Fayrin

Age: 20
Gender: Female
Race: Hylian
Element: No element; leader of the resistance
Skill(s):
-usage of whips
-acrobatics
-swordplay
-close combat
-animal taming (although she never really asked for that)
-business

Personality:
Fayrin is one of the leaders of the resistance. This means that she is obviously brave, courageous, strong, full of justice and leadership. However, despite having the characteristics of a hero, Fayrin is selfish, solitary, brash, instinctive, pugnacious, stubborn, sarcastic, and most of all, rude. She shares this with her cousin, Ashei. However, Ashei is nowhere near Fayrin when it comes to no manners or respect. Because of Fayrin's unwealthy childhood, she's very greedy. Sometimes, money is the only thing she will take into effect when trusting people. Despite being the leader of a group who's goal is to stick together to defeat Ganandorf, Fayrin likes to do things by herself. She's a little bit of a wildwoman/daredevil, but she's definetely one of the bravest members of the resistance.

Equipment
Both Ashei's and Fayrin's fathers were knights. Just like Ashei, Fayrin received an education in swordplay. Although extremely gifted with a sword, Fayrin prefers the whip as her weapon of choice. Not only can Fayrin use her whip to attack and grapple unto things, but she can use it to snatch weapons out of enemies' hands. This is especially useful in times when her enemies are carrying swords.

(i will probably add more to this later. maybe.)

So begins...

"How 'bout back home where you kids belong?" a deep voice said out of nowhere.

A girl with long blonde hair and a leather whip attatched to her belt buckle had replied to Torin's comment. She put her hands on her hips and stood with authority, as though somehow she was better than all three of them. "Y'know, i usually don't like giving advice, but i'm feeling generous today," the girl said, circling around the three as she spoke. "First of all, you should all go back to castle town. Allyia ain't safe for a bunch of kids like you. Bandits and thieves and murderers. ESPECIALLY since Ganon's been in control. Second of all, if you were to head up to Allyia, it'd be midnight by the time you three made it. And by midnight, i'm sure the monsters will have devoured you already, yeah? I mean, i know i'm sounding a little rough, but i'd like to keep the tin man, fish-face, and impersonator guy alive. That's my job around here. Keeping you idiots safe."

She stopped circling them, and gave a proud smile. She locked her eyes on the man with the armor. She scanned his appearance, and then frowned at him as though she knew who he was. She quickly turned her head so that she gave a cold, hard stare to the three heroes. "Now I want you three to remember what i said. And just in case you don't, take a little something to save your lives..." She pulled a small bottle with red liquid out of her pocket and threw it on the ground in front of them. It was heart potion. "I was gonna sell it. Apparently it gives you energy or something....? I dunno, i've never used it. Well, I best be on my way. Salutations........"

"Oh, and blondie," she pointed at Torin right before she was about to turn around, "if i were you, i wouldn't be dressin like that guy around here. Y'know...crazy people. I mean, i know you wanna bring back hope and everything, but......just.....don't do that. Don't want you getting in any trouble or anything. Alright, goodbye, children."

And with that, Fayrin was off towards Allyia. She was walking down the road very slow, as if she was waiting for something. There was a smirk on her face as she waited for the trio's next move.

looking at the girl with the leather whip Torin seemed confused about her comment about bringing back hope "what's that spposed to mean? if your telling me to stop looking like my brother then your out of luck nothing i can really do about that" he grumbled putting his bag down. "i'm not trying to bring back anything i am only one person i don't have any power or anything special" turning away Torin seperated himself from the others and walked off into the grass on his own leaving behind everything except his swords.

"Link has always helped me out in some pretty dangerous situations like when Bokoblins attacked me when i was ten after our mother died" Torin sighed, picking up a stick he threw it as hard as he could then sat down and just stared up at the clouds "there are lots of people who can do stuff better then me after all i'm an unlucky boy who will end up getting in the way if given the chance" placing his hands behind his head Torin closed his eyes and kept still.

Aleph smiled warmly at the young woman. He wasn't used to compliments, nor was he used to not being attacked upon sight. "You needn't worry, my appearance isn't just for display either." he assured quite charismatically, rubbing the back of his neck. He felt a little nervous - not because he was complimented, but because he instantly began worrying about the two. As travel companions, it was now up to Aleph to protect the both of them and make sure they weren't put under harm's way. Even if they had just met, he couldn't help his nature.

Torin wondered where they should go, and before Banton could provide an answer, someone beat him to the punch. What he first noticed about her was her lack of clothing or armor. Not total lack, but her stomach was exposed, and she wore what appeared to be civilian's clothing. This mean that she either wasn't an enemy, or she was non-reliant on strength for kills. His eyes wandered to her whip, and because whips were not of a normal, common weapon, he figured it had its uses elsewhere. This made it confusing when she began speaking about why they shouldn't travel to Allyia. Funnily enough, you couldn't pay Aleph to go back there, not ever again. Her warning would not go unheeded, but simply because Aleph had no reason to go back. His business here was with this Ganon fellow, who was desperately in need of a blade to separate his head from his neck.

Though he didn't quite know what to make of the woman's frown towards him, he waited until she had finished speaking and picked up the potion or whatever it was that she had gifted them. It was his hope that he never had to use it, but having something and not needing it was much better than needing it and not having it, so he placed it in his satchel and nodded. "I am gracious that you have taken such worry about myself and these two, however your tone might be, but I shall not evermore venture to Allyia, and so your worry need not be placed upon me." as she left, he watched Torin move about, speaking as if he were unhappy with himself, in a sort. Aleph kneeled down and gave the boy a pat on the back. "It would do you very well to give yourself more credit than you do so now. Nobody is useless, everybody has strength. Whether you get in the way of something or not is dependent only on which you view yourself. Take pride in yourself, your body, your mind, and your spirit, but do so in moderation. Listen to these words and you may do yourself some good."

The warrior stood up, his armor clanking together. "But for now, Castle Town is where I am headed. I wish not to waste much time if possible."

opening his eyes Torin gave another sigh then stood lifting up his hand so Aleph and walked over to the bag then shook his head and left it "yeah let's get going the sooner we get there the better off we'll be and with out the extra weight travel will be faster" he said still frustrated "i just wouldn't want to drag anyone down i may be link's brother but i only have afew skills similar with him i can't weild a shield since it tends to make me feel off balance and a bow is just a mess when i use it"

Staring in the distance Torin remained quiet and had his arms were crossed while he walked the expression on his face seemed rather different then the one some one would be used to seeing on him and when he finally opened his mouth to speak only afew words came to mind "is Ganon still alive?"

Tyra Lynn

Tyra smiled lightly as Links brother introduced himself as Torin. "It is nice to meet you, I am Trya Ly-" The woman stopped, snapping her jaw together tightly, wondering if her full name might ring a bell. Though her royalty was not well known, it still existed and was greatly dangerous for anyone to know.

"How 'bout back home where you kids belong?"

The brunette lifted her head, meeting eyes with a blonde woman with a whip as her weapon. Her words were extremely rude but she seemed to be offering help to the trio. Trya could tell she was a incredibly powerful and held exceptional beauty, and because of these factors she seemed to be taking a liking to her. However one thing she disliked greatly was the was she tried to hold authority over the group. She most certainly had not gained it. "Who gave you a crown!?" Trya snapped, her aqua eyes narrowing.

The brunette giggled lightly at the armoured maleโ€™s response whilst twisting thoughts around her mind. "Why would Gannon be back...The guy just doesnโ€™t give up does he?..." Trya sighed lightly. She caught eye of Torin, his head lowered and eyes lacking their usual sparkle. Their other group member was comforting him, with great words of wisdom that sent a feeling of pride shock through Tyra.

Heros. They were to become.

"if he isn't then i have to know for myself and figure out what happened to Link" Torin said feeling like he was going to explode from anger "i will get through to the castle even if i have to knock afew skulls together" after a while his words became mumbled as torin began to talk to himself curling and uncurling his hands "better hurry if we don't want to get ambushed" reaching into his satchel Torin pulled out a small container filled with water "any way our next destination is the Hyrule Castle" taking the lid off the container he began to drink it then set it back and started to walk but unlike how he was with the back pack Torin was more balanced

"Oh and miss you may want to get a kinder tone next time we meet if that happens" Torin said to the blonde girl before she was out of sight

Aleph watched the disappearing figure of the woman as she set off. He was... curious about her, but he was curious about anyone, really. He, although friendly and warm, gave no one his absolute trust as he had learned what that earned him. These two strangers earned only his kindness and not a blade through their heart, which wasn't very hard to earn, so long as you didn't pull a blade on the man. He hoped that these two would remain that way in his disposition so long as he traveled with them.

With a light smile to the both of his temporary companions, he began walking moving his hand up in the air and waving towards the road he was on with his pointer and middle digits - a taught way to tell them to follow. "Worry not about the future, simply take the path to get their." he set off on the road, his obvious intent to worry about things as they happened coming from those words. While planning was a smart move, worrying was not. Ganon was not some random thug - he was a monster (or so he heard) that would do damn near anything to achieve what he wished. His reign of terror was not going unnoticed by anyone or anything with half a brain. Aleph thought that this dark stain on the lands would be better removed, and since nobody else seemed to be willing to do so - aside from the petty 'resistances' he had encountered who weren't of enough strength, he would be the one to send Ganon to hell....

Or die trying.
