Appearance: Overall, Raleigh has a very unkempt yet practical appearance. She has a pale-olive skin tone that is covered in freckles and acne, especially along her cheeks. She stands at 5'5, and has a medium build. Her signature strawberry-blonde hair is thick, disheveled, and messy, and falls down to about her waist when she is standing up straight. She has slightly large arms, which her friends call her "man arms", as they have some muscle tone to them. She also has very definitive calf muscles, as she travels quite often. Upon inspection, one will notice the girl's shiny emerald-colored eyes. Raleigh's natural voice is moderately deep. Her voice becomes slightly shrill when she is angered or frightened.

As for clothing, Raleigh isn't too picky about what she wears. She prefers comfort over style in all of her outfits, as she is a traveler and is used to constantly moving. In the cold weather, she can be seen wearing a forest green "parka dress" that contains white fur on the inside. Underneath her dress, she wears a heat-containing long sleeved green shirt. Raleigh also wears a brown wool scarf around her neck, as well as a furry white Russian-style hat on the top of her head. When the weather is nice, Raleigh swaps her heavy dress for a green shirt with elbow-length sleeves, and brown shorts that match the color of her scarf. There is one thing that Raleigh is constantly wearing: her brown boots. She's even been caught wearing them in her sleep. For some reason, the girl refuses to take them off. They are her trademark, and her most prized possessions.

Personality

Raleigh, to say the least, is an ambitious young woman who isn't even partially afraid of the unknown. She embraces change as much as she does the winter snow, and will not be afraid to completely turn into someone else in a day's time. She is fierce and carefree, tending to dive right into the midst of things without thinking about what she's doing. A constant theme with Raleigh is acting before thinking. She is slightly pugnacious, and will gallantly rise to any challenge if she is called to it. Although she can be aggressive and reckless with no sense of restraint or elegance, Raleigh is righteous, compassionate, and loyal. Being undoubtedly responsible, the human girl will not fail to come to the aid of those who need it, and refuses to leave anyone in danger behind. She is very goal-oriented, and strives to become the best person she can possibly be. Challenges and helping others are just a part of her determination to become humble and just.

With Raleigh, actions tend to speak louder than words. Socially, she's upbeat and charismatic. However, she is confused by the invisible rules of society, despite the fact that she is clearly intelligent and responsible. She gets very perplexed over mind-games, (although she will use them herself sometimes when she is jealous) and can be awkward in front of popular and flirtatious people. Her humor and advice from friends can get her out of most embarrassing engagements, but when she fails to use her mind to free herself, she will literally run from situations. She does this when she is guilty or ashamed as well, instantly changing herself or her environment when she feels like she has done something wrong. This can be a curse as well as a blessing.

Although she can be mysterious when it comes to her past, Raleigh is honest in just about everything she does. Because of this, she is terrible at keeping her emotions inside, as well as grasping anything spiritual-related. She can make rash decisions when bottling up her emotions, and it usually doesn't take long for someone to find out that she's got something on her chest. Although she usually expresses her insecurities and anger in fiery ways, she can be very pessimistic, secluded, and brooding at times. This usually tends to happen when she thinks about her status as perhaps the only human in Ooo, among other things.

History

Much of Raleigh's history is unknown. The first definitive information about the human girl comes from when she was around nine years old. Found alone in the wilderness, she was taken in and raised by a family of water elementals. She considered the water-themed nymphs her family, and treated them with respect throughout her tween years. It was in this time that she developed her remarkable cooking skills, as well as her admirably tough nature due to mistreatment and bullying from other kids.

When she was about thirteen years of age, Raleigh left the group of nymphs to travel the land of Ooo on her own. She developed a nomadic personality, always changing her place of residence every week. She traveled through the deserts, the mountains, and the plains until she finally decided to settle down in an abandoned cabin in the Ice Kingdom. In time, she was able to upgrade the small mass of broken slabs of wood into an actual home with a chimney and a fireplace. She lived alone in her cabin until about a year later, when one day, Raleigh happened to stumble upon a brown lamb buried in the snow. She woke the lamb up, finding that it had amnesia and could not remember anything in its past or why it was buried in the thick snow. Raleigh befriended the lamb, and after two weeks of living together, the two are going to be moving to the Candy Kingdom where the climate is MUCH warmer, and the population is much higher.

Powers and Abilities

As a human, Raleigh does not possess any magical or supernatural abilities. However, as a skilled adventurer, she does have exceptional strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, and fighting skills. She's a natural when it comes to weapons. When she finds a new weapon, it does not take her much time until she is able to master its use. She has attained a strong intellect from her experience in the wilderness, and has great survival instincts. Raleigh is also is very cunning, and can use her brains as well as her brawn in a heated situation.

As far as Raleigh's skills and hobbies go, she is a talented baker, being able to bribe people just from the scents of her marvelous creations. She is great at improvising and working with what she has in order to make a delicious product. Her signature dishes include strawberry banana pie, blackberry jam-filled cake, and her classic chocolate chip cookies. As well as a master at all things pastry, Raleigh is an expertise in video games, and an encyclopedia when it comes to movies, SPECIFICALLY classics from before the Great Mushroom War. The human girl also knows how to play the ukulele, but is merely an amateur compared to other musicians in Ooo.

Weaknesses

Although she seems very strong physically and mentally, Raleigh the Human has her fair share of weaknesses. For one, Raleigh is fatally allergic to all kinds of nuts. Her skin becomes itchy every time she touches a nut, and when she consumes one, her throat tightens and she starts to choke. She had the misfortune in her childhood to consume a walnut, and was saved thanks to quick thinking and last-minute magic. When she got older, Raleigh was lucky enough to obtain an epinephrine auto-injector, and so now she doesn't have to worry about sudden death from accidentally consuming nuts.

Although nobody has seen her near one, Raleigh acclaims to have a profound fear of dragons. Her fear is so intense, that when someone merely mentions a dragon, she will flip out. Her anxiety has led to her intense hatred of reptiles. Every time she sees a lizard or a snake, she will try to kill it. She has morals when it comes to an intelligent reptilian being, but for small cold-blooded creatures, Raleigh shows them no mercy.

Perhaps her greatest weakness is her stubbornness, as well as her impulsive personality. People who know Raleigh tend to call this side of her her "teenage attitude". Raleigh has a very difficult time bottling up her emotions, and has been known to clearly express jealousy, hatred, and anger. She may not have a short-fuse, but when her tolerance comes to an end, the girl can be a wild and ferocious she-beast. Her impulsiveness is also the reason why Raleigh has a hard time being elegant and sugarcoated. She tends to put honesty and practicality first, and although this is usually a good thing, it can lead to her demise.
Items

Right now, Raleigh does not have anything of absolute great importance. Most of the stuff she has can be considered ancient artifacts from the Great Mushroom War. There are a few items that Raleigh is always carrying with her. First off, as mentioned previously, she is always wearing her boots. They are her most prized possessions. Besides her boots, she also regards her device that can play movies and video games as equally valuable. For safe measures, she never leaves her home without her injector. The rest of her things are very random and are of little to no importance. The girl contains all of her items in a white-colored backpack.

As for weapons, Raleigh has been weaponless her whole life. Formerly, however, she did own a golden hammer with a jewel encrusted handle. She obtained it when her and her lamb traveled to the Evil Forest. A group of imps kidnapped her companion, and while rescuing the lamb, she found the hammer among the many piles of stolen jewels and treasures at the imps' campsite. Afterwards, she had to give up her hammer in exchange for a new home. Although she is disappointed, Raleigh is eager to find a new weapon. She desperately wants a sword, and would kill for one if she had to.

Companion: Flake the sheep (known as lamb only because of his height) is Raleigh's loyal companion. He is able to magically shape shift into any creature found in Ooo. (With the exception of animals and plants. He can only transform into creatures found on earth AFTER the event of the Mushroom War.)

Companion Description: Flake, to say the least, is quite the opposite of his friend, Raleigh. While Raleigh is more carefree and wild, Flake is more proper, traditional, mature, and tightly-wound. Sometimes, he doesn't quite know how to let his hair down and have a good time. Although the two friends are different by definition and can get in arguments quite often, they both recognize that they need each other in order to get by. Both Flake and Raleigh consider their companion a part of themselves that they don't have. Flake helps Raleigh to become more restrained, while Raleigh inspires Flake to let loose. Both are quite good influences on each other.

As for his physical description, Flake is five years old. (Translating to twenty-seven years old in human years.) He can be classified by his signature chocolate-brown wool. He was actually kind enough to donate some of his wool to Raleigh so that she could make a scarf. Although he comes up to about just below Raleigh's waist, he is smaller than most sheep his age, earning him the reputation of being a lamb from Raleigh, as well as most strangers. He has wide blue eyes, and a heavy British accent that took Raleigh by surprise when she first met him. Speaking of their meeting, the two friends met when Raleigh found Flake buried underneath the snow of the Ice Kingdom. When the sheep woke up, he had forgotten everything including where he lived, why he was in the Ice Kingdom, and even his own name. Raleigh decided to name him Snowflake, but after much disapproval and resentment, she shortened his name to Flake instead. A little fun fact about Flake is that he is addicted to tea. He wouldn't mind having a tea party in the Candy Kingdom sometime soon just so he can make some of the delicious beverage.

The air was cool and the space around her had a cave-like silence as the young girl flew across the Cloud Kingdom on her brown-feathered morrow. She stood on the creature's back with caution yet carelessness as she reached her arms up, attempting to grab one of the soft fluffy clouds that drifted above her. Eventually, she settled down onto the creature's back, and twisted a soft smile forth from her lips. "Flake," she asked, "are you sure we should do this? We can always go back, y'know..."

There was brief silence, and then a firm voice masked in a heavy British accent replied back, "Raleigh, I'm telling you, you'll LOVE this place. I've been there before. I know you despise cities and crowded places; you've told me that a BILLION times. But I'm TELLING YOU, the Candy Kingdom is different. Much different..."
The morrow swooped down, sending billows of wind currents towards the girl. As her long, messy hair blew violently in the breeze, she grasped on tightly to the creature's feathers as the giant bird continued to speak. "Besides, I know you. I've known you only for two weeks, and I know that you essentially can't stay in the same place for a long time. You're one of those people who thrives on change, and that's exactly what this experience is: change. I mean, have you even lived in a city before?"
The girl shook her head. "Well then, you'll try the city for once. Maybe you'll like it."

The morrow passed by a party of cloud people, who giddily waved to the girl as they danced on top of the white fluff in the sky. She waved back, hearing loud, vibrant music as she quickly greeted the lively group. It was a few moments later that the morrow spoke to her again. "Alright, Raleigh, I'm going to drop down now and land on the surface. Hold on tight..."
In an instant, the giant creature faced its beak downwards, and plunged away from the heavens of the skies. Raleigh put all of her strength into gripping the bird's neck. As the two dropped, she could feel her legs rising up above her, as if she was falling head-first into the earth below. In less than a minute's time, everything came to a sudden brake, and gently, the bird flapped its wings slowly as it coasted to the surface.

Once the creature was grounded, the girl jumped off of the bird's back, and planted her brown boots onto the soil. She placed her hands on her hips as she took in the view, and then turned around to face the small sheep that stood where the morrow was once located. "Y'know, Flake, I think I actually like you better in your morrow form. I don't have to look down to see you." The brown-woolen "lamb" rolled his eyes, and then raised his hoof in front of her. "Behold, the beautiful Candy Kingdom."
Raleigh's eyes widened as she gazed upon the magnificent city that lay in front of her. Even from far away, she could still smell the faint scents of peppermint and cotton candy. Colorful buildings sprung up from behind the large candy wall, including the royal candy palace that lay in what seemed to be the center of the kingdom. Although she could not see anybody passing through the gates that lay between a moat of orange soda, Raleigh could hear the high-pitched sounds of small candy citizens as they ran their errands. She smiled, and then turned back to Flake. "Alrighty, let's go."

Inside the city, Raleigh's attention switched from one place to another in seconds. Her nose tingled with dozens of sweet scents, and she tried as hard as she could to keep her mouth from watering. "Man, this place takes a lot of determination to get through. I have to battle my innermost temptations in order to keep myself from eating anybody!" Flake gave a chuckle, and then continued to follow the peanut brittle path, making sure not to bump into the hundreds of citizens that passed by. "So, I guess we'll just stay in one of the hotels for the night. We'll settle our stuff there until we-..."
"....Raleigh?"

Flake ran backwards against the flow of traffic until he found his friend standing with a confused look in her eyes in the middle of the street.
"Uhhh...Raleigh?" Flake asked perplexedly, "You alive?"
"Huh? Oh, sorry..." she apologized as she came out of her trance, "It's just...that sign over there...." She pointed to a small abandoned stand near a sugar-coated fountain. There were piles of various junk laid out across the area. "What about it?"
"The sign on the top of the booth...It says "Tirinei's". I used to know a Tirinei..."
"And a Tirinei used to know you, RALLY!"

The human girl felt a tight grip around her chest as well as cold water as the familiar voice behind her spoke. She gasped, and an expression of shock and disbelief appeared on her face as she hugged the water nymph in front of her.
"TIRI!!! Tiri, I can't believe it's you!"
"Long time no see, huh? Who's your little friend?"
"Oh, right..." Raleigh pushed Flake closer to the tall nymph whose hair flowed clear blue streams of water. "Tiri, this is Flake. Flake, Tirinei."
"Pleased to meet you miss...?"
"Clearwater. Tirinei Clearwater. Nice to meet you too."
After bending down to give the animal a strong handshake, the bold water nymph crossed her arms and loosened her posture.
"So, what brings you two here to the elusive Candy Kingdom? Y'all tourists?"
"Far from it. We're moving in here! We were actually just looking for a hotel."
Tirinei's eyes widened with excitement, "Why stay in a crummy hotel when you deserve much better? C'mon, follow me..."

The woman led Raleigh and Flake out of the city, into the Cotton Candy Forest. The whole way, the human girl and her lamb companion gave each other glares of confusion, yet excitement. It was a mystery where Tirinei was leading them. Eventually, brown mountains appeared from the distance, and the pink forest started to come to an end. In the forest's place lay a bright red barn that seemed to stand out among the sea of green grass. Raleigh's face glowed with happiness as she stepped across the wooden plank that allowed passage over the narrow stream.
"Tirinei, it's just like your place! The stream, I mean. The place...it's amazing!
"Only the best for my little sister!" Tirinei said with a soft smile and a wink, "I picked a valuable location for an adventurer like you. Close to the Candy Kingdom while also near the Grass Lands and the mountains. Little fun fact about this place; supposedly, many years ago, a rainicorn used to live here!"
"Explains all the colors around the place!"
Although there was nothing abnormal about the barn's surroundings, its location seemed brighter and more vibrant in the sunset than the usual house.
"Right. Listen Raleigh; I'd love to give you a tour of the place, but I really don't got any time. I have to get back to the shop..."
"Oh. Right. Well, it's no problem! I'll gladly take it! What about you Flake?"
"Same! There's just something so cozy about this place..." the lamb said with a warm smile.

"Great! Sold! Now...I guess we have to discuss payment..." Tirinei put her hands behind her back, military style, and circled the new residents as she spoke. "Normally, I don't sell this kind of house to two newbies like you, but seeing as you guys are an exception, I'll cut you some slack. I'm willing to give you this place for a discounted price: 10,000 gold coins.Deal?"
"Alright. But how much for me?"
"10,000 gold coins."
"...Yeah, but, I'm your sister."
Tirinei gave a mischievous smile, "11,000 gold coins!"
"WHA???"
"Look, Raleigh," Tirinei crossed her arms and gave the girl a serious glare, "Times are hard. I'm not gonna sell you THIS nice of a house for free. Either you cough up the money, or you don't."
"Tirinei..."
"Alright, so you don't got the money. I'll take a trade of equal value. How about that fancy gold hammer strapped to your backpack?"
Raleigh looked down at the metal hammer that was hooked onto a part of her white canvas backpack. Encrusted with various gems and inscribed with runes along the handle, her hammer was quite a beautiful weapon. She had attained it only a couple of days before after finding it hidden beneath a pile of jewels in the Evil Forest.
"Tirinei, I'm sorry, I can't. It's my only weapon. I'd be defenseless."
"Alright then," the water nymph's face showed lines of blunt satisfaction, "I'll take your lamb friend then. I'm sure someone'll want him for some nice stew or something..."
"Wha?"
Furiously, Raleigh blocked Flake from Tirinei's reach. "NO!" she boomed,"YOU'RE NOT TAKING FLAKE!"

"Well then," the water nymph's expression grew serious again, "Give me the hammer, or you're gonna be sleeping in the forest tonight."
Raleigh shrugged, rolled her eyes, and then without hesitation, ripped the hammer right out of its strap on her pack.
"Here," electricity crackled in her green eyes, "take your stupid hammer."
"Thanks," Tirinei snorted, dragging the heavy hammer on the ground as she advanced towards the stream. "Nice doing business with you. See you two around. Welcome to the Candy Kingdom."
She then stepped into the water, and dissolved into the clear blue liquid as if she was a part of it. Raleigh tightly clenched her fists as she watched her sister get dragged away by the soft current. The hammer floated away in the stream as well.
"You said she was your sister, right?" Flake asked.
"Yeah."
"I figured. You two seem like you've had your fair share of family arguments."

As the sun progressed on its journey to the west, Raleigh and Flake looked around the house. Although Raleigh was still tense from her encounter with her sister, Flake enjoyed all the surprises he found around his new home. There was a stone well, a small bench, and much to the duo's surprise, a large pumpkin patch in the back. Flake jumped up and down in delightment as his eyes gazed upon the vast field of orange fruits.
"This is brilliant!" he exclaimed, "I can make some pumpkin spice tea, while you can make some good ol' fashioned pumpkin pie!"

After taking a look at the area outside of the house, the two opened up the barn doors, and investigated the inside. "Great," said Raleigh, "It's barren in here. No furniture or nothing. There's not even a couch."
"Hey, at least we got cabinets and everything. Let's go check upstairs."
The two climbed a ladder, where they found more barren space. Piles of hay lay scattered around the room.
"Guess we're sleeping on hay beds tonight." Flake said cheerfully. Raleigh shrugged.
Afterwards, the two climbed back down, where they unpacked their bags and settled their stuff around the house.

There was a small boom as the shooting star streaked across the sky. As the small planet broke into Ooo's atmosphere, there was a stream of color through the sky. No one could see the small nymph riding on the cause of the catastrophe. She sat delicately on top of a small ringed planet flying down to the grounds of Ooo. The two landed without a sound in a field of grassy plains.

”Can you please remove your fat hams from the top of my head?” the small planet grumbled from underneath his mustache of small space rocks that made up his ring. Galexi payed him no mind, and began to fumble through her messenger bag. She pulled out a small notebook and began to jot down things she observed about this new and foreign world.

'It so far appears uninhabited, it smells sort of sweet and nature-y.'

”Galexi!” the planet grumbled. The white haired nymph rolled her dark eyes.

“Orion, you big whiner,” she sighed and hovered off of him.

”I don't get it,” he said moving his mustache in an irritated manner. ”You can fly on your own, why do you find the need to sit on me?”

Galexi ignored him and began to fly around taking small samples of the world around her and throwing them in her messenger bag. The sentient planet followed her, despite his displeasure with the situation. They traveled for quite sometime, then something amazing came into view.

There was a large pink city in the distance, the likes of which Galexi had never seen. She immediately began scribbling in her notebook. She did this everywhere she went, trying to learn as much as she could.

“Holy Macaroni!” Orion gasped. ”Is this where that sweet smell was coming from?” Orion was right, the smell was stronger now that this city was in view. Galexi floated above the wall, not even waiting for Orion to do the same. She knew by now that even if he acted like he hated being around her, he would follow her.

Curiously she broke a chunk of the wall off and stuck it to her tongue. This strange, brightly colored world was made of candy. She took the remaining part of the candy piece and stuck it in her messenger bag.

”Ewww” complained her planet friend. “You put your mouth on that... wierdo.” Galexi only rolled her eyes. It was about that time that a small gumdrop child crossed her path.

”Look at that Ori!” the nymph happily squealed. ”That candy can walk! Do you think they're sentient?” She straightened her purple hat and looked at the small gumdrop wearing a bow.

”Hello! We come from the sky!” she said things slowly and precisely so the candy could understand her. It made a small startled noise and took off through the Candy Kingdom. It took Lexi and Orion almost no time to catch up to the small child.

”I have so many question! I'm going to take you back to my bag...for science!” She snagged the little girl up and thew in the messenger bag without a second though.

“Hey! What do you think you are doing!” someone yelled. Lexi looked up to see two larger pieces of candy wearing armor.

“Now you've done it.” Galexi didn't say another word but quickly jumped on Orion's head and let him fly her off into the distance. It didn't take long before the guards were out of sight.

”Thank goodness for that!” Galexi sighed. “Let's find somewhere to park the old backpack for the night huh?” They flew for a while before they saw a nice brown tree outside of a sweet looking colorful barn. It looked pretty abandoned.

”Perfect,” She hung it in one of the higher branches. “Let's try and catch some sleep eh?” she picked Orion up and slid inside the bag.

It was way roomier on the inside than it looked from the outside. On the outside it was just a shoulder bag, on the inside it was a nice one roomed apartment. Galexi collapsed on her bed exhausted, unaware of the guards that were nearing the barn.
