Adrian Greyson's Story

Voices. He could hear voices and a prod to the side. Groaning, Chance struggled to open his eyes gritting his teeth as pain flared as he shifted on the ground, hissing as pain flared from his back. ''''Great...fucking portal.'''' he thought as he blinked several times to focus on the blurred forms about him. Slowly he pushed himself up on his forearms frowning slightly even as his ears laid back when he saw a spear aimed towards him and followed it up to the face of the female who held it.

"If you don't mind, put that away." he muttered, his breathing harsh as he grimaced with pain, flinching slightly when several fractured ribs creaked and he gritted his teeth as he caught his breath before he pushed himself up into a sitting position. His hands digging into the ground under him, as his tail lashed agitatedly across the ground.

Harro shook her head, keeping the spear aimed at the apparently wounded man. "You might be diseased, or vicious. I won't put this down until I know you aren't." Harro told him, circle around the man slowly.

"This is stupid." Sidney said, turning away from the scene. He really didn't care, he wanted to get off of the planet or at least get somwhere more civilized. Civilization would mean getting rid of some of his group, but he needed them for awhile longer. They were useful, and he kind of owed the redhead to at least aid her friends and allies.

Suddenly a burst of light from a nearby home's windows, Sidney turned towards the light as it died down. He squinted his eyes, looking for anything that would give him an idea what to expect.

"We should prepare for a fight." Taral told the others, "I'm ready now." Harro said, never once taking her attention away from Chance.

A door on the home opened up, several men and women stepping out in single file. It almost appeared they were sleepwalking, all of them heading in the same direction out into the desert.

"We should probably follow them, right?" John asked.

The look Yanni gave Fortis a rather flat, displeased look. "Let's see what a pretty boy you are after being dragged through hell, hah?" said the gem witch grumpily. She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to smooth it down and perhaps look less run-down and ratty. Goddamn that asshole!

She followed the group deeper in town, brooding deeply. The Rouges... huh. She'd sure like to give a formal introduction to that man's face with her fist. Still steaming, she put a hand on Adrian's shoulder to guide him with Harro.

A low growl slipped from Chance as she shoved the spear away from him as he stood, his two toned eyes blazing with anger as he hissed at the female. "I'm not diseased! Nor vicious unless stupid being's decide to be idiots and threaten me." he growled out as he stood up, grunting with pain as cracked ribs rubbed and his back twinged with pain, and began to dust himself off as he looked about him, frowning slightly as his ears perked towards the humans leaving their home, while his tail flicked and curled behind him.

"Can someone please inform me of where I am? World, quadrant or even Galaxy?" he asked as he looked down, brushing off the dust and dirt that crumbled down towards his feet, his short hair fluttering with the movement, before looking back up. "And why kill someone that could be a damn good hand if its needed." he stated as he looked pointedly at the female with the spear, his two toned eyes locking with hers.

He shrugged slightly as he kept his eyes locked with the woman's. "I can't say...maybe or maybe not. No telling what will happen you follow, or if you don't follow."

There were several more bursts of light, each one bigger and more blinding than the last that had come before it. After a moment they bursts of light were becoming more frequent, lighting up the surrounding area and even growing enough to remove all the stars from the night sky.

"We should... move."Sidney said, "Agreed." Harro responded, already turning to run away. That was until a burst of light engulfed her, and when it died down she was gone. More light would explode around the people gathered, until one by one they were all gone from the planet of Hera Prime.

The light depositing them on random planets, in random cities, jungles, deserts and so on.
