Goal: To assist Ayperos in his quest to overthrow Lucifer and cause as much destruction as he can along the way.

Translated: "Go forth and torment but do not destroy... That is my job."

Appearance:

Towering at nearly seven feet tall and with nearly 300 pounds of raw, scarred flesh and muscle, Apollyon is a terror inducing being. He always has a large, obsidian colored, judge-class helmet on and large, spiked, dark purple leg guards on. Covering his lower half is the bottom half of a priest's attire that is in tatters, held to him by chains. In this demon king's hand is a great axe that doubles as a key to unlocking the gateway to the Abyss.

Personality:

Apollyon has been violent and destructive for countless eons and continues to grow more inclined to killing. Unlike Ayperos, he has no need to show any act of kindness and refuses to do so. There is only darkness within and no attempt at hiding it has been made. Only one thing can bring joy to this monster and that is pain. Whether it be small or great, yours or his, physical or otherwise, pain is pain and pain is good.

Abilities:

Ravens of Malphas: Once the grand president of Hades, Malphas had the unfortunate act of running into Apollyon while trying to flee from Ayperos's forces. Now Apollyon has all the power of Malphas which manifests itself as a flock of ravens.

Swarm of the Abyss: Apollyon's tool of choice, this swarm of locust comes up from the ground along with a raging fit of black smoke. There are two kinds of locust, one that looks simply like overgrown locust with scorpian tails, these attack in giant swarms and simply sting and devour the enemy until it simply bones. And the other, a much more humanoid looking breed. They have long, flowing hair and crowns of gold, upon their back are insect-like wings. These are much more dangerous and seem more like some strange knight under Apollyon's will then an insect.

The Key of the Abyss: The greatest weapon of this ex-king. It serves as both a battle axe and a key, unlocking the door to the Abyss and unleashing a swarm of demonic locust.

1The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

7The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon
