Auriel: Light of Hope's Story

Psoph was annoyed, more so than he would have thought. The few demons and marines who had stayed by him had been slayed, He stared off towards the part which the battlefield had moved to, leaving him behind. Seems neither of the forces had as much as noticed his presence. That, was unforgivable. He let out both his blood stained blades to each side, releasing a blood curling screech. Large crimson wings suddenly sprouted from his back, appearing out from his mantle. It was no usual demonic wings, their form was inconsistent, like red shadows unsure what form the take.

He soundlessly rose into the air, the wings not making any movement, making it look like Psoph was practically levitating. He focused onto the demons which was tearing away at the brilliance the angel had created, the lesser ones was no fun. They were incapable of making a real fight, but the big one...

He stretched out both blades again, releasing a similiar screech as he descended at a mad speed towards the greater demon. He wasn't as much flying as he was crazily plunging towards the demon, a flutter of fire encompassed him as he impacted into what would hopefully be the greater demon. The flames which had spread around him exploding outwards into a grand blast of scorching hellfire.

"Yes! Challenge me! Fight me in battle! Not like those 'Angelic' cowards that hide in the stars!" The Greater Demon roared as it turned to Psoph as he proved to be a more worthy opponent as he charged him. He raised his axe and took the attack head on roaring in pain, the feel of battle was always a pleasure.

It responded by bringing down his axe at his being, seeking to cleave his body in twain.

Scanning the area around, she saw most of the people had left and those who had not, were dead. That was enough for Auriel, sending a beam of pure radiance in burning heavenly energy as one last shot before surrounding the arena in heavenly wards that not even Khaos could pierce or shatter. It was annoying she could not continue, but this battle was a waste of time and her job had been to save those she could. Thus, she flew off leaving these two demonic titans to wrestle it out.

Psoph screamed out. Crossing both his blades over his head, the flames once again contorted and twisted around him seemingly bracing for the blow. Psoph equally met the blow head on, having it crash straight into the crossed blades. A moment of silence in the raging battle appeared until the axe suddenly impacted, the flames surrounding his body shuddered once and the pavement underneath him immediately shattered sending him knee deep into the ground, yet the axe did not break through the blades. Another moment happened which seemed more like Psoph was waiting for the awe to set in. He sliced both the blade upwards throwing the axe of him and stepping up from the hole, he stared up at the demon, seemingly smiling. "Ahaha, you clearly know how to swing, you swung with enough bloodthirst to scare away the angel! She flees! He let out another thunderous laugh. He raised his voice even further as to try and make her hear him "Guess only we demons are strong enough to deal with each other!"

The Bloodthirster was impressed by this demons fighting power, yes...it was strong, quite strong...Both had clash together and held strong. The demon laughed as the other had mentioned the cowardly angel. "And to think this 'Heaven' thought it could challenge the will of Chaos. They hide in the stars! Flee like cowards in the face of a true warrior! And they just leave a pathetic barrier so we no longer can enter here for the time being. Even humans are more brave than them! Pathetic!" The demon laughed ad he regained his stance. "Which one of us shall be sent back to his realm I wonder? Which demon is stronger!? We shall know after which one deals the finishing blow! Blood! For the Blood God!" The demon roared.

Psoph stood still for a moment observing the sky's as if he was waiting for the angel to return. He then turned, staring at the cursed forces forming a bloodthirsty circle around the two greater demons. He once again smiled inside. He shuddered with excitement from the demons provocation and struck his swords against each other "I'll show your blood god how little he matters, I give you, true strength!"

Finishing his sentence Psoph threw his head back and released a thunderous laugh, before leaping straight towards the demon. Both his blades were raised over his head into a wild overhead swing. Anyone who was properly learnt in how to wield a sword would quite easily dodge the attack, but this was not Psoph's intent, this, was a challenge.
