Personality
Charming and witty, he is often mistaken for a ladies man. Although he doesn't trust easily, he finds it easy to get on with people on the surface. Often considered shallow, it's hard to find what's underneath.
History
A lonesome vampire, he has never belonged among other vampires. A complete contrast to other violent killers, Brett likes to persuade others into giving themself as a gift, which isn't hard with his easy charm and reasonably good looks

Brett Vaelentine's Story
Brett Vaelentine sauntered into the bar, a cigerette rather attractively perched in his lips as he slid onto a bar stool. Getting a beer, he exhaled the drag he had just taken, and sipped his drink. He didn't bother to look around. If someone wanted to speak to him, they would
Brett Vaelentine "What's up?" He replied, knowing immediately who it was. He offered the bar stool beside him, taking a drag. "And I don't mean in a general 'How's life' way. I mean what's wrong" she added
Brett Vaelentine "Shit happens" he muttered as he exhaled, tilting his head back slightly. He got her a beer, passing it over with a small smile. "You'll get over it" he added. Normally the words would have been harsh, but he was so calm, it made perfect sense
Brett Vaelentine "Oh, you know. The usual... I guess I missed you a little too" he admitted quietly, tilting his head slightly.
Brett Vaelentine almost toppled of the chair as she settled in his lap, although regained his composure. He turned her head slightly to face him, using a few fingers to push her hair behind her ear and place a confident, slow kiss on her lips. "That missing you enough?" he queried after he'd pulled away
Brett Vaelentine "Mmhmm, maybe" he nodded slightly, neither agreeing or disagreeing in his purely frustrating way. He'd been rather surprised she hadn't attempted to kiss him in return, but he didn't let it show
Brett Vaelentine placed a finger under her chin, lifting her face to his. "I hadn't finished actually" he smiled slightly as he mumbled, placing his lips back on hers. This time his lips stayed long enough for her to react
Brett Vaelentine "You have to go?" he looked startled before he heard her parting words. "You what?" she demanded after her
Brett Vaelentine strolled casually into the bar, just finishing a cigerette. He dropped it, stepping on it as he made his way to the bar. Spotting Kiwi, he changed course in order to tickle the female while her eyes were closed. He then stepped away rapidly, grinning
Brett Vaelentine burst out laughing at her reaction, shaking his head. "You need to chill out kid" he replied calmly, not at all phased by her actions. He got himself a beer, sitting down
Brett Vaelentine "I have been... busy" he replied simply, sipping a beer as his eyes flicked to hers. He hadn't forgotton her goodbye the previous evening, but he wasn't going to let onto it just yet. With a small smile, he tilted his head. "What about you?"
Brett Vaelentine didn't speak for a few moments as he lit his cigerette, then after exhaling the smoke he nodded. "So, about what you said just before you left the other day" he tilted his head slightly
Brett Vaelentine "I don't know, I guess I sort of recognised it. Maybe I got it wrong" he shrugged slightly. He had only heard her as she dashed out the door, he could have misheard. Although he was pretty certain he hadn't
Brett Vaelentine "You 'kind of might', huh?" he cocked an eyebrow. This wasn't exactly the best news. He wasn't supposed to fall in love. He wasn't supposed to believe in it. He was a vampire who hated other vampires. Love wasn't really his 'thing'. Sighing inwardly, he pushed a hand through his hair
Brett Vaelentine "Where are you going?" his eyes followed her, his lips pursed slightly. So maybe he'd done the guy thing and freaked out a little over the whole commitment thing. Bracing himself, he caught up with her. "I guess I'm glad you said it. Because I was never going to"
Brett Vaelentine "Well I wasn't going to say it first, anyhow. I mean, I'm not sure..." his voice was still calm, but he was rambling ever so slightly. Sighing, he took a long enough drag to make the room spin ever so slightly before sitting down.
Brett Vaelentine strolled through the bar doors, his arm in a sling. He still managed to smoke his cigerette as he made his way to the bar, and it remained perched in his lips as he opened his beer
Brett Vaelentine "Huh?" he looked puzzled for a moment, looking like he'd totally forgotten about the arm. His eyebrow was raised as he realised what she meant, and grinned. "Ahh, nothing. Just a small fight" he shrugged the shoulder of his uninjured arm.
Brett Vaelentine "Calm down. I'm here and I'm alive, right?" he rolled his eyes. Sitting down at the bar, her drunk his beer and finished his cigerette, cool as ever
