Personality

One would think that after such shuffling around and such a relatively miserable childhood, Blue would be very distant and more than likely, depressed. Quite the contrary. It made him quite sociable and even affectionate. Blue is a very sweet, if not oblivious, boy who always finds the bright side of things. He loves being around people, and is always willing to help someone out, regardless of what they might think of him.

Some could consider him childish, since for his age, he still loves stuffed animals and is always carrying around his stuffed panda. When he’s not studying, sneaking around or simply listening to people, he enjoys singing, and has dreams to one day become a great singer is he cannot become a great detective like his adoptive father.

He's also addicted to bubblegum.

History

Nathaniel Bleu de LaWrin grew up in a relatively normal French/Japanese family, in England. Or so he’d like people to believe. When he was four years old, his mother, who was Japanese, divorced his father and moved back to Japan, taking Nathaniel with her, of course. As most people do, she got remarried to a respectable businessman and life was stable for a while.

However, all that ended on a cold, icy night in December. Nathaniel was six at the time. Despite his mother’s protests against driving at night, his stepfather refused to drive her to take Nathaniel to the hospital for his fever. So she decided to herself. Around 9 P.M. that night, tires slid across the ice with a loud screech, followed by breaking glass and the red that blossomed across the snow.

Miraculously, Nathaniel was relatively unharmed, aside from a few minor scrapes, and some emotional trauma. Having no where else to go, Nathaniel had no choice buy to stay with his stepfather. After a few months, though, the man slowly turned into an alcoholic and became abusive toward the young boy, not caring who saw or heard. Much to Nathaniel’s relief, social services finally intervened, deciding to send him to his father in Europe. Despite his happiness at escaping his situation, his hopes were soon dashed yet again when he discovered his father had no interest in raising him whatsoever.

With that, he was placed in an orphanage to wait to be adopted. Far from home, and far from anyone he once knew, he became very outgoing and fun-loving, rather than withdrawn. It was his eccentric personality, however, that kept possible-parents at a distance, and wary of even considering taking him in. That is until a very kindly old man recognized something in Nathaniel, and decided it was time for him to be removed from the orphanage. This is around the time when he started going by Camisade Blue; or Blue for short.

Being the adopted son of retired detective since then, his skills in information gathering were cultivated and molded into a truly useful skill. Being able to pick up on even the slightest hint of valuable information, and being able to coax the truth out of people is what he excels in. Even those on guard against him, sometimes find themselves slipping and giving into his persuasiveness. He also enjoys changing his appearance constantly and practicing ‘being’ another person, for all types of infiltration.
