(The "Godslayer")
Son of the Kendari's Godking Banadar, Cole was never meant to survive as long as he has. Born 3930 BY on Corta Diez to Banadar and Eina Arkenach, much of Cole's life was spent in service to his father, serving as an assassin and lauded as Banadar's 'heir' to the public. Though, this was all a ruse. Banadar was a god after all and needed no heir - the purpose Cole and to a lesser extent his sister Val served was to be slain and absorbed so as to further strengthen Banadar's powers. They wouldn't figure this out for some time however. For twenty years, Cole served his father unquestioningly and did whatever he could to try and please him, to prove his strength time and time again. He was shown to be a formidable swordsman and talented magic-user as well, blending the two styles seamlessly into his style of combat he referred to as the Amalgam Style, a scrappy and unrefined form of sword fighting which relied heavily on switching between more formal stances and footwork to more messy and unconventional attacks as an attempt to put the opponent off-guard as he'd suddenly drop from his more fluid actions to immediately start intentionally making unexpected actions.
In 3950 BY; Cole, Val, Eina, and Cole's sword fighting instructor Glenn and his mother's only friend attempted to escape from Corta Diez in an attempt to finally relinquish Banadar's clutches over their life. This plan went horribly wrong however as Banadar almost immediately caught them, leading to the death of Eina and Glenn, and for Cole to be thrown through a Dimensional Gate while Val was taken elsewhere for later. In the months following this, Cole would recover and attempt to gather allies to follow him on what would likely be a suicide mission - rescuing his sister. At that time she was being held by the mad doctor, Zach Theosen and his assistant Lutz Fvala. Together they had performed unspeakable acts on Val, some in the name of science...others just for fun. By the time Cole regrouped with his sister, her mind was nearly broken and she never did truly recover from the intense PTSD she suffered from after her time in the cult's compounds.
Towards the end of that year, Cole would finally engage his father Banadar in combat. Despite the seemingly hopeless battle, he persevered and somehow ended up defeating him, not without sustaining injuries of his own including the loss of his right eye.
In the years following Banadar's defeat, Cole attempted to aid reconstruction efforts within Rihilig. However due to remnant followers of the Cult of the Twin Star and Banadar's faithful servants hunting him down as revenge, this brought trouble to the country which resulted in public opinion souring toward Cole and his wife ArƩ. Following this backlash, the two would agree to retire to a home they built somewhere within the wilderness just south east of Naglfar. He avoids the public eye for the most part, only coming to the city with his wife or daughter every now and then. His daughter Toamna visits Naglfar more frequently than he does, and is known around the city due to her eagerness to help others when she's able, constantly trying to find work as an adventurer despite Cole's efforts to stymie her wanderlust at least until she was trained up well enough to defend herself...
Though his time exploring the Multiverse has been short, Cole has made a name for himself around the Terra region, especially during his brief stunt as the Mayor of Wing City. Running under the Libertarian-Conservative party, he had a promised campaign of low taxation, deregulation of existing public sectors, and a focus in increasing defensive measures for Wing City against imminent invasion. Though officially still the mayor (at least until the next election), he designated Snowbund to take over mayoral duties, effectively swapping places with his Vice Mayor while he dealt with issues at home - having complete trust she would suffice standing in his place for the time being.
He has returned recently to Terra, noticeably older and more mature - despite seemingly little time passing on Terra by comparison.
He's ready to see what has changed while he was away...
Cole is a talented swordsman, and adept practitioner of arcane magic - having blended the styles seamlessly into his own signature "Amalgam Style", in which he switches rapidly from sword fighting to spellcasting, and back again. Over the years he's refined this technique, edging away from the old and more erratic nature of it, and focusing more on a more calculated and sophisticated dueling technique.
Kendarin Blacksteel Kriegsmesser
A kriegsmesser made from Kendarin Blacksteel, a metal native to his homeworld of Corta Diez - it is as strong as adamantine but has the special attributes of being able to deal corruption damage as well. This often blends together with his spellcasting, creating a multi-layered energy attack from his blade alongside the regular heft of the sword slashing.
Arcane Magic
Being skilled in the application of spells, Cole is particularly capable when it comes to the utilization of magic alongside his sword. He often utilizes corruption magic alongside his regular elemental spells. He is also capable of casting some spells which are meant to directly enhance himself for an upcoming fight.
Corruption Magic
Taboo but largely unknown, corruption magic is a form of dark magic which involves one imposing their overpowering will upon the raw magical energy they are attempting to use to cast a spell. This, unlike normal spellcasting, results in an unstable yet powerful energy which crackles to life, visually resembling more traditional elements such as fire or acid but its true effects are much more devastating, with its focus being inflicting as much pain as possible.
