Dan Bloodline

''Father, do not strike your son, though he has done wrong. A great terror he may have been, but now redemption is at hand. Do you believe in second chances, father? Or has your son been condemned to hatred and bloodshed?''

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Mongo of fire

Description

An average sized man with crew-cut brown hair and dark yellow eyes. He's looks about twenty and his body often pulses with energy. His skin is charred black, and his build is far from damaged. He is thin and semi-muscular. He's immune to magic, so he cannot be healed by it or attacked by it. His bones are steel, after having his original ones crushed. He is pretty much bulletproof because of it.

Personality

Happy in a very scary way. He doesn't want revenge, or so it seems. He is still ruthless and will kill anyone that crosses him eventually...

He doesn't really want to kill anyone but those that are necessary for revolution.

Redemption is at hand. Dan sees the complete error in what he had done and now it's time to make up for it.

Equipment

A sword made of a material that is superconductive in temperatures up to 96.8℉. It is the only weapon he has and it's the only one he needs.

History

Four times dead, four times alive. Four ended stories, five in total. This is a brief run-through of Dan's life.

First life, Dan was mortal. He had a knife, which he accidentally got stuck in a light. This struck him with a bit of electricity, as well as putting out the light. He tried it again and nearly hit someone. That someone threw the knife at him, impaled him through the heart, and nearly killed him. Residual electricity healed the wound, but he would have died of clogged veins, as he caulderised them shut inadvertently with said residual electricity. He then decided to play pranks by overloading the battery of a laptop. The peacekeeper, Cryoface, wasn't pleased with this prank and cut off first his hand, then his head. Dan died and was resurrected only a few days later.

He next simply did mindless terrorism with newfound powers of electricity, pretending it had a purpose. He Tried undermining authority and made a few friends. He began undermining authority and trying to turn people against Cryoface. Not only did this plan backfire, but after a while, people didn't like him much. He was killed by, once again, Cryoface.

Dan, on his third time alive, found that he could use the media to hopefully start uprisings. He hijacked the news beacon every so often to attempt to stir riots. This was soon dealt with by the removal of the news beacon. Dan died soon thereafter by being crushed by nanobots of Motoko, after an epic battle of good vs himself which featured Cryoface, Motoko, AlFrain, and anyone else willing to throw a punch at him.

Dan was reborn again, his body now with steel bones, and he went into hiding for a while. He learned some new tricks, and gained a significant bounty. He went through a lot, but long story short, he died again, by burning to death, and of course, somehow Cryoface was involved.

Dan Bloodline walks into the bar, a pale lavender grid of electricity appearing on the floor and ceiling of the bar as soon as he steps foot inside. He walks to the center and looks around, closing his eyes so he only sees the electrical emissions of the living things in the bar.

Dan Bloodline begins to wonder how he should go about balancing out what he's done in the past. He could try to keep the bar from being host to fights, but that would require himself getting into them, making it all for nothing. But then again, it would be for peace, so it might work...
Dan walks to a corner where he is pretty much concealed in darkness, then watches the bar patrons, checking with one eye open, one closed, so he can see both what they're doing and how much electrical life force they have.

Dan Bloodline walks into the bar, looking about for someone whom he hasn't seen since he sent himself into exile. Tghen again, his ally might just have followed him and gotten lost. He looks around, hoping he is not recognized, though there is no reason for him not to be. He hasn't physically changed a bit, besides having more electrical buildup than thought possible by mankind.

Dan Bloodline overhears BBC and walks to it. "What kind of upgrades?" He asks, clearly trying to help instead of destroying everything as he often did.

Dan Bloodline "What happened to the old ones?" He asks, waiting for his comrade to crash through the window or ceiling to enter the bar, as he so often does. When he gets there, there would be much to discuss...

Dan Bloodline forms a pale lavender sphere of electricity. "This gives you access to a grid of electricity I formed on the floor and ceiling of the bar." He means this in the most literal way possible, because he actually formed an honest to god grid to cover faces of the bar and give him an upper hand. "If you accept this, you had better not destroy the bar, nor my grid."

Dan Bloodline "Oh..." He hadn't realized that was possible, seeing as it was made of raw electricity and generally had one of two effects. Either it would be usable or it would destroy whatever tried to use it. Safe side is usually better anyways, so he shrugs and the sphere dissipates. "Well, the same general technique could be used as a power source instead of... What do you use, batteries?"

"Sorry. I just thought that, being advanced technology for as long as I can remember, you'd run on something more efficient. Like solar power."

"Try outside the building, genius. There's a roof to place the panel, and wires can go through the walls to get to the roof. Besides that, people generally leave the lights on in here, so it wouldn't matter."

Dan Bloodline "Although I have many more suggestions for alternate power, you seem to be set on batteries, and I probably sound repetitive..." He then decides. "Why not plug into the wall? Either that or live off of life energy of people in the bar. I've done it at the worst of times."

Dan Bloodline remains speechless, though his last idea would work even if BBC were mobile. He then shrugs and attempts to reach a cellphone in his right pocket before feeling a slight stinging in his hands as the lithium battery explodes. "Oh... Right..." He says, grabbing a rag from his back pocket to clean chemicals, that could probably corrode his skin, off before any serious effects kick in. He then reaches for a small walkie talkie without batteries and uses that to contact an old friend...

Dan Bloodline walks into the bar, followed by five spawns of himself. He walks over to Dan, who smiles. Why is he smiling? He never smiles! He removes his mask to reveal a face that's falling apart and says as best he can, "Here we are. What do you need?"

enters the bar and a pale lavender grid of light appears on the floor and ceiling. He walks to the center of the bar and kneels down, placing his hands on the floor. He does nothing of significance more, though. He has nothing much else to do anyway, but he has to keep the grid running for now...

Dan Bloodline walks out of the bar, suddenly feeling as though redemption is impossible currently, seeing as no fights are there for him to stop. Then again, it isn't a good deed if it's done for selfish purposes, is it? Dan walks out of the bar, slightly more confused than when he entered, but much more satisfied with his new ability to enter the bar at will.

Dan Bloodline walks into the bar, completely oblivious to the people around him. There's no point in being anything but oblivious, for there is no familiarity between himself and anyone else in the bar, as far as he knows, so he goes along with his own business and walks to an area of the bar that people seem to be unintentionally avoiding. It's a fairly well lit wall, no stereotypical dark corners, however it is just being avoided. It's almost as if something is there. He walks towards it, but there's actually no real reason to avoid that particular section of the bar. Or at least, not to his own knowledge.

Dan Bloodline looks to the wall and feels unnerved by it's unfamiliarity. He backs away from it and accidentally walks into the counter, flipping over it and breaking a few glass objects. Of course, having enough thermal energy from electric buildup to melt most metals without electrical discharge, the glass melts within the gashes in his skin that they create.

Dan Bloodline "Nah." He says standing up and completely unaware of the molten glass in his body, not the blood on the floor. "My nerves are fried, so I can't usually feel pain. Am I supposed to be hurt?"
