Description
Darien, as a demon of Hell, is quite fond of avarice. He wears leather, jewelry, rings and belts. Around his neck is a Golden Pentagram, a symbol of his Lord Asmodeus. A long red leather is draped along his shoulders, it's loose fit bringing little accent to his physically thin state. His hair is brown and messy, with which he sports a thin and shaven beard. If one didn't know any better, he'd appear more like an impractical pirate than a devil.
Personality
Darien's personality is dominating, to say the least. As a greater disciple of the Demon Asmodeus, it is not a surprise that he has quite a commandeering presence about him. He is a lustful, sinful being, taking pleasure in just about any action that wouldn't sink in well with any other beings. He is also quite vain, and takes much pride in his appearance. One of the only things that can get on his nerves is somebody insulting his fashion.
Equipment
As a demon in allegiance to Asmodeus, he doesn't sport any physical weapons. Devilish magic is his only true weapon, with a touch capable of corrupting any man or beast. Aesthetically, Darien tends to always wear leather, and around his neck sports a large golden pentagram necklace.
So begins...
Darien Taldari's Story
Darien Taldari stared menacingly at the woman who had just approached the bar. She was horribly injured. Normally, Darien didn't take much interest in those that were bloodied and broken, unless it led to them selling their soul. This particular woman gave off an aura of peace and light, the exact opposite of Darien's own benevolent nature. She sat down next to him. "Perfect," he though.

"Excuse me, miss?" He said to the white-haired woman.

"You look to be in horrible pain. I wish to help you, if I can. Consider it a charitable favor to one who no doubt can repay her debts." Darien spoke with a sort of mocking sincerity, as if his truth was a parody of the goodness he was trying to portray. He had been lucky so far. This woman hadn't seen through his mortal form to the devil behind it.
"Is there anything at all I can do for you in your pain?" ”

"Drowning your sorrows is never a good reaction to tragedy." Darien reached into his coat and revealed an ornate mirror. He held up the reflection to the poor, broken women. In the mirror, her face was reflected in a beauty that she had not had even before her battle.
"I can give this back to you. I can make you whole again. Don't squander this chance." ”

"Of course you don't. Your deals here on earth seem to be bad enough." Darien hissed hatefully. She had effectively seen through his ruse.
"Keep in mind, dear lady; I am not a demon. I do not expect of you your entire being. I am a devil. I deal in contracts and laws. I will not take from you more than you are willing to offer." ”

"You call me the evil one, but it is you who is so eager to jump to conclusions. I will not fight you. You are in too much pain to think straight. Have you even seen your soul? Do you know what it is? Do you even know what it does? It is nothing useful to you." Darien began to sneer.

"Why do you even devote yourself to those powers? They demand the world of you and in the end, the power they supply is nothing. There is nothing wrong with sacrificing your own soul for the greater good." Darien raised an eyebrow to the woman. "I'm sorry, I don't think I even got your name."

Darien Taldari growled at the newcomer, Kisa. "You hold no place in this conversation." His voice had changed from a smooth baritone to the vocal equivalent of a cat being slammed into a chalkboard. His eyes quickly shifted from one lady to the other.
"I am not the bad one here. I merely offer you that which you once had. If you turn me down, it is your loss."

"Your gods offer no gifts. The power they offer isn't eternal. It can be taken at any time. When you are cast down for your doubt, where will you turn? Will you remember the offer I made you, or will you go about your life, shattered as spiritually as you are physically?"

Darien Taldari only let out a short, and comical laugh.
"Certainly!"
He offered her his bottle of straight vodka. "Not too strong for you, is it?"

"I told you that I hold no grudges, dear." His voice had a particular quirk to it. "You're just another human, after all. Why not drink our cares away?"

Darien Taldari burst into laughter. "Now WHY would I have ANY intention of doing that?!" He continued laughing deeply as he spoke. "Certainly, somebody with your moral fortitude would be able to retain their decency!"

"Because I am a genuinely wonderful being to be around." His eyes flickered with evil wit and fire.
"I can leave you alone whenever I wish. Why, any one of these patrons would gladly share a drink with me!" ”

"As a matter of fact, I do. However, I find you much more fun to be around. My schedule isn't so pressing that I cannot prod members of the clergy." Darien raised an eyebrow and accompanied it with another charming smile.

"Oh, no clever response to that, I take it? It's well enough. The only jabs you are able to provide now are witty little gems. Perhaps you should just keep drinking. I'm about finished with you, much like the world." Darien injected a bit of venom and hatred into these personal attacks.

"Well, I suppose I know when I'm not needed." He took a small card out of his pocket and placed it on the bar next to Dallas. "My card. If you ever need me...You'll know what to do."
