A man in a distant future, the Grand master ace of Star Squad.
Dimitri Acturian serves in the most elite of the elite top ten squads, Star Squad, under the command of Captain Jack Sannis. He is rather good-natured, and is all-around too happy for some people's tastes. He tends to take everything in a not-so-serious way, which gets on the nerves of Jack Sannis, who although has befriended Dimitri, finds his informal way grating and unprofessional.
Dimitri Acturian pilots Starkill. Starkill is not a Mech suit manufactured on Earth, but rather something completely different. Thought of and later comfirmed as to of come from a different planet, Starkill is a Mech with an advanced A.I. piloting system, capable of advanced learning, and what has what Dimitri calls a Soul Drive. It's a machine that's as human as it can get, and at times, it is evident that it can feel just like any human.
Starkill packs the largest punch you can pack, with duel beam sabers capable of slicing through nearly anything, a high powered Beam Rifle, which might be better called a Beam Cannon in compact form, stored under a hydralic plate on his back. Dimitri modded a small explosive launcher on the right wrist, which can launch small canister explosives to annoy and blind pilots, and cause damage to structures. Starkill also features what Dimtri has deemed, a Varient Drive, that is, it transforms. Not traditionally. The eight cells that power it, are re-charging Psi flucutation cells. The transformation is actually generated by the Psi energy to become a solid reality. When discharged, the transformation seems to float away in a beautiful, white-spark discharge from the Machine. It's transformed state has been deemed Supernova, in which it gains a series of PyshcoCommu weapons known as Darts, which focus further Psi energy at various focal points, to create a variety of attacks. The whole Mech suit is a focal point, also allowing an unlimited arsenal of creative attacks, which are limited by the fact that you can only use so much of the cell's energy. The wings gained in Supernova can seperate, forming a deadly X-figure on it's back, allowing the focal rods to generate a duel Beam Lance, which when used in junction with thrusters and the Duel Beam Sabers, can create a flurry of deadly slices.
Dimitri Acturian grew up on the colonies, and grew up in turmoil and war. His father was killed in the space colony war shortly after his 18th birthday. When the war ended shortly after, only to start up agian, this time on his father's original home, Earth, he smuggled himself off the colony and down to earth, where he managed to join the UEDD. Shortly after, he was promoted to Captain, making rank faster than anyone in the history of the UEDD. He then got into Star Squad a month later, where he met the prodigy Akira Torimasa, the only PFC to make it into an elite group. And the Super Ace of UEDD, Jack Sannis. He also met Major Aria Armada, who he has been in love with ever since, much to Aria's annoyance. That love has saved her life many times since, when Dimitri risked life, limb, and Mech to rush to her rescue time and time agian. Eventually losing his rank after disobeying a direct order and saving Aria, and losing his Mech suit, he was promoted back to Captain by his close friend, Colonel Silus Armada, Aria's father. Silus also let him into a closed hanger to see what had been recovered at a military mining operation, where he saw the majestic Starkill. Starkill, sensing his presence, working on internal programming, powered up, causing panic. Starkill choose Dimitri as his pilot that day. And with the help of Silus and his many governmental contacts, Dimitri gained Starkill, not a bad return on losing one of the most expensive suits produced on the planet before.
