They call me a scout...I prefer master at intelligence gathering.
Durzo mostly keeps to himself, and is a quiet individual, unless he is spoken to directly. Once spoken to directly, you would be wise to guard yourself against the sharp, and harsh wit that you would hear in return. Durzo is a blunt individual. So much so, that he often called "Durzo Blunt" as opposed to his actual name "Durzo Blint". As blunt as he might be, he is not careless as one might think. On the contrary, Durzo is extremely intelligent, hardy, quick witted, and knows when to speak and when not to speak. He is a cautious and careful individual not to be taken lightly despite his slender almost boyish appearance. He is wise beyond most of his rank, and knows many things a lowly scout shouldnt about all manner of things Templar. He is ambitious, and will do whatever it takes to survive, and to achieve whatever other motives he may hide behind those seemingly harmless teal colored eyes.
Durzo travels light, and when on a mission he usually dresses the part. Burnt Leather is the bulk of what he wears during missions, with thin steel to cover the left side of his chest, elbows, and his left shoulder blade as well. The steel is usully colored black, to hide himself better at night in the darkness. He sports a black cloak as well, to hide himself from view completely, if necessary.
He carries a thin longsword on his back that is deceivingly light for its length, and well balanced as well. It is a family heirloom passed onto him from his father before him. On it, are carved glyphs of ancient holy power that ward off evil and make it vibrate when demons are near. He wields it skillfully.
He also carries a long curved dirk at his waist that is made from castleforged steel, heavier than his thin longsword.
He also has three small throwing knives attached by burnt leather straps snugly on the side of his thigh.
On the other side of his wasit he carries a small, yet loud signalling horn for any emergencies or alerts he may have to signal to allies.
and when on missions, he always has his favorite yew longbow made centuries ago at the hands of a very skilled bow-craftsman. it was imbued with holy spells to prevent damage to it, or any wear and tear it would normally see over time.
He also carries with it, a leather quiver of castle forged steel arrows all soaked in holy water.
Durzo once wished to be the high priest, just as his father had once been, the previous High Priest to the current one. His father was a dedicated, and reliable individual, tall, strong, and well suited for the position of high priest. However, Durzo was not "suitable" for the position, and was chosen to be a scout instead, for he was more suited for it because of his slender build, and quick reflexes and above average eyesight. For some time, even throughout his training, Durzo was bitter, and continued to grow bitter as the years passed, and as the wars started and ended, all the while he was but a lowly scout. The experience in war along with the bitterness twisted him into a hardened man of few words. Eventually however, that bitterness turned into ambition. Ambition for what you might ask? It is unclear. Durzo's goals and true nature is all but a mystery to everyone but himself. He claims to be a humble servant to all that is holy, like any other templar, and knows his vows, and what templars fight for. He is dutiful, and never fails at the task set before him, for the countless years spent scouting have made him an expert at what he does.
