Farid made his way inside the bar, shaking the water from his hair. He didnt quite know why he traveled through the endless downpour outside, other then Lorn that is. The girls predicament was more than interesting and Farid thought he knew how to help.

He spotted the woman, recognizing her from descriptions from his contacts. "Lorn."

He looked to his side, idly toying with the fabric of his hood. With a sigh he faced her again, stepping towards her and taking the stool beside her.

"Something i can help you with." He replied quietly, focused on the bartender.

"Some water, please."

As the glass slid before him, he caught it with the back of his hand, slowly brushing over it before taking a hold.

"Yes, i did."

He peered over to her, taking a sip of his drink. "What's it like? Being the water elemental and all?"

He scratched at the back of his neck.

"I followed you because you came to me for help. Do you want it or not? Because i can gladly walk out that door."

He watched her intently, taking in every stray detail he could pick up about the girl.

"Back in my country, we had a way of dealing with elementals that took human vessels, or what we called gods."

He calmed, taking another sip from his glass. "We've dealt with these things before, 'elementals', except that we call them gods."

He swept his hand through his hair, knocking his hood flatly off his head.

He yawned, slowly putting a palm to his mouth. "My apologies." He turned to face her on the chair.

"Yes, we. I come from a distant land, the people of which have discovered a curious new type of magic, or a new way to harness old magic that is. Back when i was there we didnt have any sort of response to these beasts, that's changed."

He watched her curiously, one brow slightly rising.

"You're much too tense, flustered. I wont tell you to calm down, its much easier said then done."

He looked to either side of him, as if expecting an attack.

"Come with me."

He stood, pulling his hood back over his head as he made his way out of the bar.

"He scratched at the back of his neck as the rain dripped down his cloak. He looked around again, the same cautious stare as usual.

"Somewhere safer, somewhere you'll relax."

He spoke without turning towards her, moments more while he surveyed their surroundings. Finally he faced her with a skyward palm.

"Come on, hurry up. Take my hand."

As their hands touched, he quickly pulled her against him, her back against his front as he locked her into place. It would probably seem like an attack, a damn threatening one too.

But in a moment it would be apparent that it wasnt;

They appeared inside of a small cave. A crack in the wall caused it to bask in a dim moonlight, the narrow pond glistening from the light. It was silent other than the sound of the pair's breathing and that of a waterfall.

He ignored her question for a moment, making his way to the waterfall and pond adjacent to it. A small sack laid beside the pond, just off the shore, containing some clothing and charms. He pulled his cloak off of his back, leaving him bare chested against the water. He dipped his head beneath the stream, allowing it to sweep across him.

Finally he stood, pulling his cloak back on. "I brought you where i thought you be the calmest. This is the most appropriate place i could think of. Calm, cold, and pristine. The water's here are said to be the finest on this entire planet."

He peered over his shoulder, shaking his head as she made herself into the water, simply staring when she exited it. "You seem so exhausted. It's not healthy nor is it safe, itll only falter your cause." He made his way over to her.

"Over here."

He flicked his head towards a small pond in the center of the small cave.

He crouched down behind her, shaking his head as he spoke.

"Just...quiet." He whispered, certainty and wisdom ringing though his voice.

Her put a hand over her eyes and another behind her head as he attempted to ease her head back and force he body gently deeper within the water.

He paused, his hand still against her as he felt the familiar feeling of tears across his skin. He sighed quietly, gently running the palm of his hand against her cheek. He slid into the water beside her, discarding his cloak. "You're much too seperated from it, your element. Water is calm, serene, not torn and troubled."

He placed a hand against the sides of her head, circling his palms against her skin. He drew her closer against him.

"Thats simply because you've yet to master the calm side. It's very possibly, i assure you. Besides, you need your element and its not something you can seperate yourself from."

He pulled away, his hands slipping to her shoulders.

"Sleep, here. Ill wake you in the morning."

He turned, the water still trickling down his back as the wave calmly enveloped him. He stepped out, a towel drawn across his back, then head. He sufficiently covered himself with the fabric as he dressed, a pair of jeans and a black shirt, much different then his apparel the night before.

"Around 14 hours, what does it matter?"

He turned to face her, a hand through his hair as water still clinged to it.

"So quick to leave already? You've yet to finish."

"Yes. That's how you leave, same way we came in. Stop worrying about it for a moment."

He turned away from her, crouching down to a small puddle of water, steam rising from its crevices. A small steel grill laid across it, a mug on top of it. He lifted it up, holding it out towards her.

"Drink this and we'll go."

He pulled the mug from her hands, placing it down besides them. He wrapped a arm around her waist, pulling her against him.

"How do you feel? Is it working?"

He smiled, but only for a moment. A quite laugh escaping his lips. He placed a hand on the back of her head, one last glimpse before they were gone.

They'd reappear at the house.
