So begins...
Kyle Edwards's Story

Nicola was incredibly happy.
After all that hubub in London, she had returned to Terra, only to find out that her shop had been ransacked. She had gathered her things, then relocated.
To Pramia.
Just the port had her blown away. Her curly black hair and her skirts bellowed in a passing wind that had her stumbling down some stairs...
Outside. In Pramia.
The whole city was like home. Like home and better. Instead of London, she saw somewhere alien, but beautiful and familiar at the same time. It was not the streets she was familiar with, but the machines, the people, the style, was everything she had imagined, and it bypassed her expectations by a mile. She breathed in the sweet air with her skinny arms lashed out to her sides, a broad grin on her face. Though she had a large suitcase in her hand, and a hefty backpack on, she spun in a circle, laughing to herself.
"Miss, is there something wrong?" asked a high, but masculine voice in England's posh accent. "I have not heard that laugh in an age."
Crawling over her shoulder was a small mechanic spider with long, spindly copper legs and googly eyes.

Kyle Edwards adjusted the collar of his shirt to let a wisp of air flow down his chest. He leaned against the railing at the end of a receiving dock. With a breath of the hot air he glanced over the rail, down at the ocean several thousand feet below the Airship port.
"Should be any second now..." He muttered quietly to himself with a look at the watch on his wrist.
The contact was supposed to arrive with the package via an airship all the way from Terra...He always wondered what that place was like. Tourists always claimed it was a terrible, war-torn place, but it couldn't be that bad if people still lived there, right?

The young gypsy girl began to trot, though she was wobbly and unbalanced. The suitcase in one hand and the oversized backpack she carried was almost too much for her. She was striding right past a young man, the creature on her shoulder fretting and scolding her to slow down, when her boot slipped onto the ground. She nearly smashed right into him, and she thought she had, turning around dangerously on one foot to address him.
"So sorry!" the young gypsy cried, hands clapping over her mouth. "I really must watch where I'm going! Are you quite alright? I didn't mean it, I swear!"

Kyle was looking up at the arriving ship when he felt something hit him in the chest. The force nearly knocked him right over the rail. That would've been nasty. His heart nearly stopped, and he had to catch his breath as he stepped away from the rail.
It took him a couple moments to realize that there was a young woman apologizing to him.
"aha....just be a bit more careful around here." Kyle smiled politely and rubbed the back of his neck. He gave the woman a quick look over.
"You look like your new in town." He observed.
And somehow....familiar.

"Ahaha! A little!" said Nicola. "More like this is the first time I've ever landed here!" She let the wind blow her hair over into her face. With a giggle, she brushed it back out. There was a huge grin on her face, her cheeks so high that her eyes closed.
"I really love it already! It's like home, but...it's not like home. It's like a dream." she told the boy. The little mechanical spider on her shoulder stared at him.

Kyle eyed the machine on her shoulder with some serious curiosity.
"I guess I know what you mean..." Kyle mumbled, trying not to seem too distracted. the spider had intrigued him, and he really wanted to learn more about it...
"I know! I have something I have to take care of right now, but how about later I give you a proper tour of Abingdol Falls?"

"That's fine! I've got reservations for a room and everything!" said Nicola, peppy as she often was. "Is there anywhere I could meet you? Perhaps sometime in the evening? Space travel tends to make someone sleepy! I'm not sure if you'd call it jet lag. I'm-" She looked away. Oh, crap! What was the name of this alias?
"-Jasmine!" That's right, Jasmine! "Nice to meet you!"

"Pleasure meeting you Jasmine. I'm Kyle Edwards." He gave a slight bow, sweeping one leg behind the other.
"Perhaps we could meet by the fountain in Newman Square? Around seven would work swimmingly with me. I have some business to take care of here before I can hope to get some free time....work never is very considerate you know?"
