Personality
Leon is a very happy guy, and loves to make other smile too. he spends most of his time to himself, but seeing anybody who's emotionally stressed, will go to them, trying to make things better, or even try to see if he can make a smile slip out.
Equipment
carries dual katanas strapped to his back, combining them into one. multiple pouches inside of his overcoat, filled with herbs/spices/other random curios, which mainly includes gifts for kind strangers. also carries a small dagger in his left shoe, for slight protection if his katanas are gone.
History
kind of a dark background, parents were killed when he was just a kid, and has been living on his own since he was 7. made ends meet by performing on city streets with card tricks and small illusions. most recently found a job in a tea shop, instantly becoming an outstanding employee with his incredible tea brewing skills. Now he lives for the enjoyment of others, trying his best to make stressed people happy.
So begins...
Leon Mordon's Story
Leon Mordon kinda stumbled into the bar, laughing as he almost tripped over his own feet. Tonight has been treating him well. He stood up, a smile was still stretched across his face as he straightened out his jacket and made his way to the counter. Nothing like a strong drink and good people to put this night into action. He sat down after reaching the counter and raised his hand low, ordering some sake
Leon Mordon slid into the bar quietly, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself. He just wanted a nice drink, something to soothe the days pains, and take his mind off of anything other than his life. He walked to the bar counter, his head hung low. He reached the counter and sat down, his head still low. he lazily raised an arm and ordered a nice sake, hoping it will do the job of redirecting his mind.
Leon Mordon continued to just sit there, and sighed. Sitting up straight, he had decided not to be all mopey, as it would get him nowhere in life right now. Taking a large drink of sake, he turned around on his stool and rested his elbows on the counter behind him, scanning the bar for anybody to... socialize with. A small smile spread across his lips from seemingly nowhere because of his last attitude towards life. Things will always get better, might as well make use of the time he had now.
Leon Mordon looked over just in time to see Dieneku take a dive over the counter and heard the soft cry coming from her. He stood up and slowly made his way to her as her head popped over the counter, and a smile smale was spread across his face. "Excuse me, miss, are you... alright? that was a pretty nice fall you took there." His smile grew a little as he extended a hand to help her back over the counter.
Leon Mordon smiled at her as she took his hand "Clumsy? Naw, we all have our little moments here and there. Now just seemed to be one of yours." He shook his head, the smile still on his face, and then nodded slightly. "Well, if maybe you could hand me another gourd of sake, that'd be pretty nice of you. And might as well get yourself something too."
"Don't want you to fall again, not after what already happened." He extended his hand again, a friendly offer. "So, is there anything specific that brings you here, like... work? Or do you just spend time here to escape other life, as I do?"
Leon Mordon nodded. He understood her reasons completely. "Yeah, it all makes sense. I guess you didn't have to explain yourself to me, just a curious question I thought I'd ask. I myself come here to forget about the outside life, meet new people, have fun. The works." He again smiled and leaned against the counter. "Nice to meet you Dieneku. My name is Leon."
Leon Mordon slipped inside the bar. He tried making as little noise as possible, as not to disturb the other guests. Putting his head low, Leon made his way to the bar, ready for a drink this night. He reached the counter and sat down, then raised his hand, ordering some sake. What a great way to start the night.
Leon Mordon noticed Nesatani slowly moving across the bar, something seemingly wrong. As she fell into the corner, Leon stood up and slowly made his way over to her, trying not to get himself noticed. He kneeled down next to her, a worried look spread agross his face. "Hey... there, are you alright? Do you need anything?" He moved his hand to touch her forehead, to see if anything was in fact wrong.
Leon Mordon looked surprised. He didn't know anybody could possibly think he would hurt any living thing. "Oh! no, of course not! if anything, I'd love to help you... food, water? anything you need, I'd be happy to get you." He heard her stomach make an awful, hungry noise, and knew immediately that she was probably starved. "Just say the word, I'll get it for you, I promise."
Leon Mordon nodded and rushed off to get some water from the tap. He had served as a temporary bartender so he just hopped the counter and got the largest glass he could and filled it to the brim with nice, cold water. Leon rushed as much as he could back to Nesatani, trying not to spill any of the water. He leaned down and handed her the glass. "Here, if there's anything else, anything at all, food, drink, a friend. anything you need, it's yours."
Leon Mordon shook his head. It was not the answer he was looking for, nor was it one he wanted to hear. "Look... that's not good to say. There's really no need to fret, none at all. Like I said... I can get you anything you need. If what you need is something for this disease... I might be able to help you, it's just not going to be easy, not by a long shot." He shook his head, a look of despair across his face. He doesn't like this. The only person that could cure this disease was somebody he hated talking to, even thinking about him made Leon shudder. "I just... you look like you could use help, a lot of it... I'm willing to go out of my way, just to make your life a little... better." He grabbed the glass from her and got up to get her some more. He returned, the look still spread across his face. "If you'd like that anyway... I'm not sure what else I can offer..."
Leon Mordon shook his head, his look of dismay disappearing. "No, you needn't do anything at all. I'm just glad to help... really. And as for anything that has happened to you, or your family, I'm greatly sorry, especially that I hadn't found you earlier than this, after all the damage that has been done." He sat down next to her on the floor, and started smiling a warm, comforting smile. "It won't be easy, though I'm sure, after this night, the next time we meet, I'll have something for you. But right now, in the meantime, is there anything else I can get you?"
Leon Mordon shook his head and stood up, and went off to get a rag. He returned with a clean one and wiped off the floor, then reached up, trying to get the blood off of her face. "Then do one thing for me; continue living. I may be overextending my welcome, but... You're welcomed to live with me too. My house is rather large, and could use maybe a feminine touch from a girl your age. I can provide food, and all the clean water you can ask for. Like I said, the only thing you can do for me is keep on living."
Leon Mordon again, shook his head. "No, for the most part, no. There are a few people around who do housework, cleaning, dishes, gardening, trimming. But otherwise it's just me. I think it'd be a perfect place for you to get on your feet, and you'll get the whole West Wing of the building to yourself, and have complete privacy if need be." He knew it was odd, but he had to offer, seeing the state she was in.
Leon Mordon nodded in response. Helping her would be beneficial for both of them. She would continue to live, and he would be glad knowing he had helped her. "Once you leave Gambits, just take a right, and walk about 3 blocks until you reach the large gray/white building on the right side of the street. I'll let everybody know you'll be there, so they can be prepared." He stood up and brushed himself off. "For now, I should take my leave, and I hope to see you again soon, except this time in the comfort of your bed. I'm scared to do what I'm about to do, but I have to go talk to this man about your disease." He grabbed the rag that had the blood on it and handed her a new one. "I'll have to take this as a blood sample for him, but, he will get it done, I promise you." He nodded again, and looked down at her, actually hoping she would come with him, so she wouldn't have to find the way to his home, alone.
Leon Mordon extended a hand down to her, going to help her stand up. "Oh, my name is Leon, Leon Mordon. I'm glad I stumbled across you tonight. Do you need help walking, or will you be fine on your own?"
Leon Mordon took her arm in his, steadying her. "I'll help you out, everything from here on out will be alright, I promise." He looked over to her and couldn't help but put on a small grin as he saw her smile. He started making his way to the exit, supporting Nesa as much as she would allow.
Leon Mordon slid into the bar, his hands were buried deep into his pockets. He took in a deep breath and sighed. These last few days had been rough, so much time spent in his friends odd science lab had left Leon with a headache. He made his way to the counter and sat down at the closest bar-stool, letting his arms fall onto the counter, and ordered a large gourd of sake.
