Description

7' 8", muscular but athletic. Grey skin with bone-like growths that serve as natural armor all over my body gives the illusion of stone-like skin. Patterns all over my body look like tattoos but are in reality marks I've had from birth. I wear long dark red and black robes with ornate trimming around the hem and hood. My eyes are both white with no pupils. Males in my race are unable to grow hair.

Personality

Being a Goliath, I am very competitive and eager to increase my fame. I am also very eager to behead those who prey upon those too weak to defend themselves. I do not tolerate arrogance or blasphemy against Bahamut. I am loyal to those who prove their loyalty to me and will defend a just cause to the death. I'm not always serious, however, I have a fun side that shows itself when an occasion arises.

Equipment

I have a claymore that I wear on my back. I wear mostly commoner-like clothing under my robes. My leather belt holds my ceremonial dagger, a magic pouch, and a money bag. I have a warhorse that carries all my other possessions. These include; bed role, tent, food, torches, climbing equipment, spell books, scrolls, holy objects, and a hunting bow and arrows.

History

I was brought up away from my clan in the Bahamut Temple of Light just to the East of Ore City. I am not permitted to speak of the temple itself but my mentor, a Dragonborn Templar by the name of Rogar, often comes up. I left the temple and started my journey around the world. I made my way through Dwarven Cities and many kingdoms of men. I've battled many demons on my travels, either metaphoric or actual. I have tired of my life of solitude and feel that I may better serve Bahamut by finding a worthy band of adventurers to help me on my never ending quest to rid the world of evil.

Gabriel sat in his seat in the vehicle and stared out the window, watching the people pass by, and he wondered what could have been. The election was a total loss, but that was fine. With some relocation of assets, clever marketing tactics, and a few favors offered and returned, he was able to recoup losses to both reputation and revenue. Perhaps the political spotlight wasn't for him, anyway, and he would acquire better results in improving the world from the private sector.

He poured himself a glass of brandy as the car moved through the city, and he pondered where the future would take him.
