History

Lucille was the first angel to fall with Lucifer. After her wings were brutally ripped from her back, she fell into the Lake of Fire with the Lord of Darkness, devoting her life to him for as long as she was able.

She spent eons at Lucifer's feet, doing as she was told, stuck in the body of a twelve-year-old girl. It wasn't until she met a man by the name of Viogandr (played by aipsylon) did she get a glimpse of what freedom could be.

After declaring that she was no longer a slave of Satan's, Lucille began living in the Dark Woods with Viogandr, struggling to leave the past behind and move forward. She continues to struggle with this every day. Some days she earns for Satan's presence. She has already gave in and gone back once. She is determined to not make the same mistake again.

Lucille has recently asked Viogandr to age her body to a more appropriate appearance. She has left the small girl's body behind, now looking to be about seventeen.

So begins...

Lucille flinches away from him. "It's not that easy. I can't just up and leave him. He's fucking -Lucifer-. I fell with him. He'll always have control over me." She stares at him hard, angered even more by his lack of emotion. "If you really cared, there'd be something on your face to prove it."

Lucille hesitates. What if he was right? Well, that would be awesome. She frowns. Why is that suddenly awesome? Three days ago, she would have killed Viogandr without thinking about it; she would have killed anyone without thinking about it. Fleeing from Lucifer? She had never even considered it. But what if he was wrong? What if he was just severely underestimating Lucifer? She looks away. "Why don't you smile?" She asks off topic-like, wanting to avoid the subject, to avoid a decision she didn't want to make.

Lucille narrows her eyes at him, a smirk tugging at her lips. "That's tempting." Her expression falls again. "I'm scared." She blinks at this verbal admittance, looking up at him. "Who am I anymore?" She exhales in a huff and falls against his arm in defeat.

Lucille 's body suddenly tensing, flinching away from him and staring hard at the door. "Not free yet," she says. "I'm being called. He knows I snuck out." She curses, standing up. Pausing, she stares up at him. "We'll talk about this ... freedom thing later. And you better keep your promise and smile, damnit." She then turns as if she is going to leave, then turns back to him, inhales deeply and throws her frail, pale arms around his neck in an embrace.

Lucille holds on to him for a few moments, suddenly dreading going back to Lucifer, when that used to be the highlight of her day. She pulls back, nodding slowly to him. "Goodbye. See you soon. I hope." Frowning, she finally lets go, and exits the establishment, to the wrath of her master.

Lucille enters, lacking her usual graceful poise. Her left ankle is wrapped in tight, stained bandages and she limps on it as she crosses the establishment. Her lips are pressed in a flat, angry line, eyebrows knitted together over her dark eyes. She sits at a nearby empty table, mumbling profanities under her breath. She glances around quickly, only searching for one person, but he wasn't there. She frowns, tilting her head, long ebony hair shielding her pale face.

Lucille darts her eyes toward Viogandr, faint calm taking over her once disgruntled features. She doesn't say anything, sure he'll come to her when he feels like it. One hand reaches down and touches the bandages around her ankle, wincing.

Lucille looks up at him, trying hard to keep her expression blank. She touched the seat next to her, her lower lip beginning to tremble already at the reminder. She waits for him to sit, then leans against his arm. "Yes," she replies softly. "Cut my alkalies tendon. It'll heal, though."

Lucille "To be here? Yes." She nods a bit, sighing. She doesn't know what to say, only that until just recently she never thought of Lucifer as being cruel. Out of nowhere, she had started to feel things, things that had taken her years to forget. Part of her was glad she had met Viogandr, the other wished she never had. She blinks up at him. "Are you going to sit?"

Lucille leans against him. "I am." She frowns. "I never thought twice about him before. I just figured everything he did was okay. But then ... you. You happened. And my wings." She frowns. "I should still have them."

Lucille 's frown deepens. "I shouldn't be unsure." She leaves it at that, pushing off of him to cross her arms on the table and cradle her head on them. Her eyes are far off, stuck in indecision.

Lucille shakes her head. "It's not something I decide. I -am- his slave. I just have free will. And when I'm stupid, and act on that free will, I get punished. Still a slave. Just a stupid one." She narrows her eyes at him, wanting to hate him, to blame him.

Lucille glares at him angrily. "Do you really think he'll just let me go like that? He owns me. And where would I go?" There's a hint of panic in her voice. Running away and declaring herself free wouldn't make her free. This seemed like an impossible option.

Lucille blinks. "And what if he hurts you?" Her voice wavers again, her eyes losing their anger, replaced only with sadness. "I'm not worth it, Eiglerandyr, really. I'm just a slave."

Lucille narrows her eyes again. "You don't understand. He will -not- just let me go. I've been with him forever. I can run away and say I'm free, but he will find me. Eventually. Master does not take well to rejection."

Lucille is suddenly angry again, shoving him. "Why?" Her eyes narrow at him. "Why are you so bent on freeing me?" She looks away, staring hard at the table. "I was perfectly fine being an -obedient- slave of Lucifer's. And then you just, ruined it. Why? What am I to you?" She flicks her gaze to him again. "Nothing, just the stupid balance you go on and on about."

Lucille shakes her head. "So that's it, then? It's just your stupid balance?" She crosses her arms tightly across her chest.

Lucille shrugs. "You want to help me because of your balance bullshit. At least Master sees use in me. At least he has emotions; harsh ones, but they're there. And he gives me what I need, and tolerates me." She rests her head on the table. "Perhaps I am merely ungrateful?" She shoots a glare at him. "-You- led me astray."

Lucille narrows her eyes. "Then what -is- it about? This is what I've always known, what I've always had. Masters a constant; maybe a terrible constant..." She drifts, wincing again as she shifts her ankle. "But a constant nonetheless. I have been with him for millions, billions of years." Her voice is wavering again, tense and high as if she were about to cry. Her hands curl into fists in her lap.

Lucille rolls her eyes at him deflecting her question - again - and rubbing her forehead in thought. "I don't remember." Memories before the fall, with the exception of her wings being torn, were very fuzzy and hard to stitch together. "He told me about the Rebellion, and pointed out all the examples in which God was inadequate. All the times he had failed me."
