Personality

He has excelent survival instincts, knowing exactly when it would be in his best interest to run, though his concience wins out should it ever come to it. He also has a tendency to do violence against those that have wronged or hurt himself or his companions.

He's not picky about the jobs he works though, having performed theft, assasination, body gaurding, exploration, and everything in between.

Equipment

He carries a single sword of indeterminate style. It has a straight back while the edge is curved. It most closly resembles a falchion.

On the inside of his gloves are several small darts roughly the size of carpentry nails. He is extremly skilled at throwing them as they were used in a game he played as a youth. He also has a few, heavier, cresent shaped throwing blades in a pouch onbthe back of his belt.

Around his neck is a gold medallian with a red gem at the center. It is magical and grants him power over fire. It lost it's power not long after he aquired it and remained inert for nearly a decade. His last long term companion was able to restore a portion ofit's power before they parted and while still an effective weapon it is not nearly as strong as it once was, taking at least three times as long to bring it's power to bear.

History

He was born to a poor family in a port town, and while they were able to survive without too much difficulty, when his mother became pregnant again when he was fifteen, his father told him that he would need to leave and find his own way in the world once the baby was born.

He ended up joining a crew of a ship that were considered pirates, though they were closer to being seafaring mercenaries as they took jobs at port rather than praying on other ships. He spent most of his time on board in the rigging were he developed stupendous agility. This lead to him getting chosen to perform numerous theft and burglury jobs. He also became the best on board at a dart game that resulted in him being picked rather frequently for assasination jobs as well.

After he turned twenty the crew was hired to seek a teasure, a medalian with magical power. After retriving the treasure, a terrible storm sank the ship and as far as he knows is the only one to have survived it. He managed to retrieve the medalian and began to hunt the man who had given them the job, blaming the death of his shipmates on him.

He never did catch him, but he ended up as an escort for a young girl who claimed to be a "ninja", whatever that was, and helping to overthrow an evil queen. Compared to that his next few years were uneventful.

While working as an explorer and treasure hunter in a land were a series of natural disasters had uncovered numerous ancient ruins, he discovered another young girl that he would learn was the last(or so they thought) survivor of an ancient race marked by platinum hair. They had been hunted to near exctintion out of fear of incredible magical strength and their power over life and death.

They eventually came across another hidden village of ancients were they parted ways, but not before she restored power to his amulet, which had been inert since the fall of the dark queen.
