Romanae's Story
Romanae 's mouth dropped open slightly, a frown on her features. "You were in the bathroom when those pair of tits were guarding the door?" she asked.
Romanae looked decidedly unimpressed. "Who threatens someone in a bathroom stall?" she asked, rhetorically of course. "Sounds like something Tommy would've done at academy when we were teens."
Romanae rolled her eyes. "Weren't you listening, Mels?" she asked, though she knew the woman had either lost interest or fell asleep. The former probably led to the latter, actually. "Tommy used to corner me in the bathrooms," she said. "And tell me to give up lunch money... which was odd, because I never took lunch money. I think he was trying to perv at you, to be honest. Remind me to smack him over the head for that, I'd completely forgotten all about the bathroom incidents." She glanced over at Kazen, raising her head to look at Kroger after seeing the loud Irishman fall into sleep. "Y'know, you could've just pointed him in the direction of a young woman and he'd likely have shut up."
Romanae snorted, shaking her head and holding up a hand. "No, Kroger Retna. You're taking my name, I've decided," she teased him.
Romanae sighed, yawning for a moment, her eyes on XII as it left. "Y'know it's no fun to tease you if you don't respond to it, Mrs Retna," she directed at Kroger. "It also makes me sad. And Sad-Ro means Tommy gets punishment duties and I get bored talking to Iante or James."
Romanae half-heartedly thumped her hand on Kroger's chest. "Shut up," she said. "You're thinking of retina. Not Retna." She looked up at him, one eyebrow arched as she grinned, pointed teeth showing momentarily. "I'll take your name if you... oh, shoot. Already used the "love the Irish" thing, didn't I? Oh, okay, fine, I'll just take the name."
Romanae 's face softened slightly, a smile tugging on her lips. "I was just teasing you, Kro," she murmured to him. "I do want to take your name." She shook her head, idly playing with the medals he wore. "Would you rather I didn't take your name?"
Romanae only raised an eyebrow at Melissa. "I don't think Tommy would just settle, right? He's wanted to go out with you for ages - hell, I remember when James first told me that Tommy fancied the shit out of you. It was like a month after you guys met, he said he was embarrassed when I lay into him for not packing his gear right," she shrugged. She looked up at Kroger, silent for a moment. "It would be good," she said, voice dropping in both pitch and volume. "I just don't want the same thing to happen, not again."

Romanae shifted herself onto Kroger's lap, straddling his waist innocently and looking over her shoulder at Melissa. "Tommy's out on a thing for one of the higher-ups," she said. "He was at camp earlier, but James said he had only came back 'cause he forgot something. Poor bastard, getting all of the crap recon jobs." She ended her little informative monologue by turning back to Kroger, leaning her forehead against his. "You're being awfully quiet."

Romanae hummed, hugging Kroger for a moment before she leant back, looking over at Kazen, her forearms resting on Kroger's shoulders. "Someone's loud tonight," she noted. "What's with him?"
Romanae watched the seemingly one-sided fight for a moment, slowly turning her head back to look at Kroger, his finger still on her lip. "You put Camma in a box?" she asked him. "And then told Kazen and Swift to open the box? That was very entertaining and I'm finding you oddly sexy with the deviousness."

Romanae sighed, lowering her head somewhat in defeat before turning to look at Drasta, frowning. "What the fuck do you want?"
Romanae snored, shaking her head. "Well, unless you're voyeuristic for a soppy married couple, I'd suggest you leave, 'cause there isn't any entertainment here."
