Ryu Kisuki 's tail swished against the floor for a second time, bringing more dust into the air. Making it's way into Ryu's nose, the fox sneezed, causing the balnced glass to creah against the wooden floor. "A-ah.... Darnit! Err... Ah'll pay for it, mister, no need ta get angry at me!" The boy rasied his palms in defense, reverting back to a normal sitting position on the barstool.

Ryu Kisuki yawned as he half-heartedly pushed the door open, the tired fox boy slowly shuffled his way inside. The teenager's short stature made him almost impossible to see through the crowd if it wasn't for his ears, that shot from his scalp. The fox's usual bright blue hair had been replaced by an almost blackish tinge, as if he was now wearing some sort of scruffy wig. His bent tail brushed against the wooden floor as he made his way past the other customers. Rubbing one of his tired eyelids, Ryu had made it up to the counter, hopping onto one of the more taller bar stools. "Sheesh, Maybe day time isn't my time of day..." He mumbled, ordering a cup of root beer to feed his taste buds.

Ryu Kisuki 's eyes brightened up, his tired ears pricking at the sound of his name spoken from an unfamiliar voice. Turning softly, the boy saw that this man was adressing another Ryu. "Ah, common names are such a bother in public areas... maybe I should get mine legally changed... maybe to somethin' like Ryu No. 2..." He chuckled to himself, holding his glass in the air to idly stare at.

A fox beastkin's small footsteps creaked the floorboard as a young boy slipped inside the bar. If it weren't for his rather tall, pointed ears, the child would've probably gotten stepped on many times over. The barefooted creature sat himself on an empty barstool, Ryu ordered a glass of wine with a bit of a scowl. He made no eye contact towards the human bartender, as to avoid any kind of persecuting glare that the child was usually given.

"After all, a smelly animal shouldn't be able to order food"

The cynical thought rang through his head again as he took a swig of his mug. "Feh, this ain't yer hometown. I'm sure the humans 'round here are sane." The beastkin sighed, speaking to himself as always.

Lazily gazing arround his surroundings, the small beastkin's ears pricked up as his eyes laid opon a wine bottle that was pulled from the shelves. "Ya got taste, Missums." The boy muttered under his breath with a wry smile. He placed his own glass carefully on the table, pulling his legs up opon his barstool to appear taller. Although this person appeared human, the fox decided to take a risk this time. She appeared to be speaking to another man, a man who spoke of demons and other spiritual crap. Not like Ryu would care, even though he was mistaken for a demon every now and then. "Wouldja mind if I take a drink as well, Missums? I need a lotta spirits ta make me feel better t'night."

The fox beastkin sent back a dazed smile, dropping from his seat to accept his own share of the bitter liquid. "Adrienne, eh? Name's Ryu, nice ta meetcha." The boy was slightly consious of the fact that even with his ears pointed upwards, he only met up to her shoulders. " 's nice ta see a human who actually doesn't react as if I'm some sorta stinkin' mutt round here." Ryu chuckled, scratching the front of his nose in a jovial fashion. Noticing that the man with the book had suddenly left without any warning, he frowned. "Feh, tearin' up a book like that. I know a friend of mine that'd scould that man t' no end fer doin' something like that."

"Monsieur Ryu? Now yer main' my name sound all fancy!" The beastkin's ears twitched happily. "Well, Miss Adrienne, the humans are the main reason I'm tryin' ta drown myself in liquor. They're too used ta the stray animals that they call pests. So when they see me, it's not much different." The creature pouted, his hand feeling around the top of his head as he recollected a recent memory of a young lady smacking him with a broom. "Ta some people, Imma mutt, a dumb ol' beast, somethin' that shouldn't be talkin!" He ranted, trying to vent out his feelings towards humans.
