Description
Personality
Sam is a very smart girl. She always got good grades throughout school and even graduated ahead of her class. She has a sarcastic and joking side but it is hard to find unless she is with people that she knows. Deep inside she has a very tender and loving personality and she genuinely cares about people and their problems. She is also very modest and humble. She has difficulty taking compliments but deep down they always make her feel better about herself. She is generally calm in any given situation, but like everyone else, if she is pushed hard enough she'll fight back. Sam is easily cheered up because she loves being happy. She is forgiving and often forgets when people have wronged her. Some say that she is even forgiving to a fault but she doesn't listen to them. She doesn't like to judge, nor does she like being judged.
Equipment
Sam is usually wearing jeans or shorts and layers. She usually wears tennis shoes or her hiking boots. She tends to get chilly if she doesn't have several layers on, no matter what the weather is.
For self-defense in this horrible society that is Wing City and its surrounding areas, Sam carries a Winchester double barreled shotgun that she keeps in a holster on her back. She also has a machete that she keeps in a sheath strapped to her leg.
History
Sam was born and raised in Wing City. Her father designs computers for the monitors on space ships. Her mother stayed home to raise her and her sister. Sam has had a few bumps with her parents, but after she left home, they have had better relationships with each other. Sam is glad that she is finally able to depend on herself and not have to obey every single thing her parents tell her to do. Currently she works part time at a restaurant and is single.

Sam Rhoades walked into the northern part of the gardens. She admired the scenery for a few seconds before taking out her laptop. "God I just can't get away from all this homework." She sat down in the soft grass under a tall tree and began to type. She was writing part of a ten page essay on 'Something Stupid That She Didn't Care About Now or Ever Would.'
Sam Rhoades heard some leaves russle and looked up. Some guy was staring at her and smilling. How charming. She looked back at her essay, hoping that he wasn't going to talk to her. But, when she looked up and he was still looking she knew that wasn't going to happen. Then she actually looked at him. He was kind of cute...
Yep. He was talking to her. Great, she really needed more distractions from her homework. "I'm working on an essay. It's for my medical class." She turned back and started to type more but now she couldn't concetrate. She closed her laptop and leaned back, showing of some of her many curves as she stretched. "It's really beautiful around here isn't it?"
Sam Rhoades blushed. He was talking about her wasn't he? Well he was a piece too, but no way she'd say it out loud. She didn't even know his name. But that was easily fixed "My name's Sam. What's yours?"
"Hey, it's a free-ish country isn't it? Go ahead" She put her laptop away with a small sigh. She might as well talk to him, she wasn't gonna get any more homework done. "So what brings you to the Gardens Josh?"
Sam Rhoades couldn't help but agree. "I like it. It's quiet and just so peaceful." She looked at him and then into his eyes. There was,something about them. It was obvious that he was into her but it seemed like there was something deeper. Like he wasn't just after getting into her pants. "What are you thinking about now?" She asked before stretching out her legs on the grass.
Sam Rhoades was surprised, to say the least. "My eyes? Really?" She had been thinking that he was going to hit on her by how hot she was but had not been expecting a compliment on her eyes.
Sam Rhoades laughed, "Oh, you can see what I'm thinking huh?" She looked him over for a brief second. She wouldn't mind hanging out a little bit more with this guy. He was pretty cool. She looked him in the eyes and nodded, "Then what am I thinking about now hotshot?"
"Well, you're half right." Sam smiled and winked. She laughed and lay down in the grass and sighed. "It's really nice out today."
Sam Rhoades lay on the grass and watched Josh check her out from the corner of her eye. "Hey," she smiled, "Eyes up here." But really she didn't mind it. It made her feel good about herself. "So tell me about yourself Josh."
Sam Rhoades nodded, "Yeah, I'm planning to be a nurse." She looked over at him. "How are your classes going so far?"
Sam Rhoades laughed, noticing Josh's disinterest in the subject. "They're ok." She sat up. "Tell me something about yourself."
Sam Rhoades started laughing again. "Well that's just interesting!" She thought to herself 'This is a pretty funny guy! I wouldn't mine if he asked me out.'
Sam Rhoades smiled, "I was born here in Wing City, I have a job at Mr. Chicken. I don't know exactly what else I should say."
Sam Rhoades looked shocked, "I do not!" Then she saw he was joking, "That's actually the guy's job. All the girls work up front."
