Sharar Kenyon

Notice:
Through the use of neurowave amplifying nanites, Subject 13 (Also known as Kenyon) has demonstrated the ability for limited telekinesis. Recommend further study.

Biochemical augmentations:
-Advanced material grafting onto skeletal structures to make bones virtually unbreakable
-Protein complex is injected intramuscularly to increase tissue density and decrease lactase recovery time.
-Platinum pellet containing human growth hormone catalyst is implanted in the thyroid to boost growth of skeletal and muscle tissues.
-Submergence and boosted blood vessel flow beneath the rods and cones of the subject's retina. Produces a marked visual perception increase
-Alteration of bioeletrical nerve transduction to shielded electronic transduction. 300% increase in subject reflexes. Anecdotal evidence of marked increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity.

Aenanu was surprised when the new alien arrived and could translate their language. Maybe everything would be okay now. He glanced at the other two, trying to get his head around everything and letting Sharar open the medical supplies. They weren't the normal supplies either and Aenanu immediately went digging around inside, trying to find what he needed, but he was no doctor.

"Leave them, Sharar." Aenanu spoke in Xi. "They're not hurting us. They're here to help. Let them help. If they show signs of attack, then we defend." He told his associate. They weren't really classed as friends.

He looked at Sich and Captain Thunder.

"My name is Aenanu. That is Sharar and this is my sister, Essie. She's heavily pregnant with twins. We need to help her. She cannot die." He hoped that the fairy-bug-thing would translate for him so that help would be on the way and was glad to hear that medical assistance had been called for.

Thunder nodded to Sich and Shan, before turning her attention back to Aenanu,"She," she indicated Sich,"Said that more medical assistance is on the way."

She knelt next to Essie, checking to make sure the pregnant woman was breathing before anything else, while switching her eyepatch's scanning mode so that she could examine the soft tissue. As she checked Essie's vitals, she spoke to Sich,"The male here is named Aenanu, big grumpy over there is Sharar, and the poor girl here is Essie, she's got twins, which if its anything like my race's issues, is really tricky." To both groups, which would sound strange as the translating magic worked to make her understandable to both,"We can't move her yet." Speaking to only Aenanu again,"I'm going to need you to tell me the most important parts about your species' biology. Speak fast, I'm a quick learner."

She needed to assess the damage, and stop any bleeding, but it would all be pretty pointless if the poor woman wasn't even breathing in the first place. It seemed that the mechanical parts of the woman were acting as life support for now, but with only internal resources, Yuui could only guess at when this would give out,"Alright first thing we need to do is stop the bleeding. Hey, tall dark and grumpy, if you have something we can bind tightly, gimme that." She pointed at Sharar for the last part, clearly unaware of any sort of hierarchy, and at the moment, not particularly caring about anything like that. If Essie bled out before the real medical personnel got there, both the woman and her children would die.

And that would suck.

To Sich she tried not to sound overly concerned, so not to freak Aenanu out any more than he already was,"Hey, how long until those medics get here? Poor girl is already on her last legs."

"They should be here-" Sich was not allowed to finish as shadows hovered above, answering her question.

Scyphozoa were versatile, excellent medical units that were both gentle and precise. They carried a distinct resemblance to the jellyfish they were named from, with a hard shell as the cap and transparent tendrils hanging below. They hovered down toward Essie and Aenanu cautiously. Behind them hovered a more humanoid figure standing atop a vehicle that resembled a manta ray with feathers. She was clad in a tight combat suit, but she was not armed.

She hopped off into the ship with the Scyphozoa, trying to get close enough to administer care to Essie.

"Aretu..." sighed Sich. "Well, at least it wasn't anyone worse." She looked towards Thunder. "Thank you."

She froze as Sharar snapped his sights onto her. The woman's fingers twitched toward her weapon. Shan came to her side, but he was more useless than she would ever be.

"We're bound by an android organism. It's connected to our nervous system and is part of our immune system. You can't get rid of it or we die. I guess our biology isn't much different to other species. We have limbs and blood. If we lose our blood we can die too." Aenanu told the other alien that had turned up.

Essie was bleeding on the back of her head and her leg. She was already paler than normal. Her brown lines that covered her cody seemed to be glowing, working on trying to keep their source alive so that they didn't die either - the android organisms.

When Aenanu saw someone else around, he glanced at them and then back to the winged alien, waiting for a translation for who it was. When they told him that it was the medic to treat Essie, only then he'd take a step back to let them help his sister.

Thunder nodded to Aenanu and motioned to the medics,"Alright, they're the medical personnel."

When the medics were close enough, Thunder spoke to them next, explaining as much as she could,"This one is pregnant with twins ans seems to have several lacerations, the worst of which are on her head and leg. Probable concussion, considerable blood loss, and possibilities of other complications are evident." She motioned lightly at the spot on Essie's leg that Thunder had bound to help hold off the bleeding, as well as the back of Essie's head, which Thunder was manually applying pressure to,"Also they have a symbiotic android organism which must not be removed or damaged, as its wired into their nervous system. Right now its all that's keeping this poor girl alive."

Thunder was hesitant to leave Essie's side, but she wasn't actually a medical doctor, and besides, there was no profit to be had in all this. On the other hand, the scientist in her screamed for more information on the species, and a thirst for knowledge, just for knowledge's sake,"The male here is her brother, so he should be allowed to stay with her at least."

The Scyphozoa surrounded Essie, and their hundreds of clear appendages would latch onto her skin, melting into it, creating a hovering, organic gurney. The tendrils stemmed bleeding for their abundance, but they dared not administer the anesthetic they carried within their main bodies. They had no idea how these aliens would react.

The Scyphozoa began to float off toward one of Zanzaria's hospitals with the woman. More of them came, but not for Sharar or Aenanu. There were more people in the building who were hurt. Aretu Liiga went with Essie, and the dash on her Sajeera lit up with a quick diagnosis on her state .

Sich and Shan made their way closer, cautiously, to Sharar, Thunder, and Aenanu. "You all should come with us. Our translators aren't working with them because we don't have their language in our database. We'll need you-" She gestured to Captain Thunder, "-to help us out a bit more while we take these two aliens in for some questioning."

Sharar stood rigid with his hands at his side, staring at the people surrounding them. "This unit observes that the immediate danger has passed. Crisis protocol disengaging, please standby."

The man closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened them his body seemed to loosen, if only slightly. Giving the others another once over, Sharar turned to look toward Aenanu.

He did not know why he had wound up in an evacuation craft with the other Xupra and his sister. He had chalked it up to pure chance. His last memories indicated that he was supposed to have been evacuated with the officer's of the program, but ti seemed like that hadn't been the case...

Odd, had the virus really spread that fast?

"For the record, I don't believe senselessly indulging strangers with information about our construction is a good idea. Just because they haven't attacked us yet, doesn't mean they won't try later."

He turned away from the Xupra, looking at Sich for a moment, before staring hard at Shan. While it seemed the female was the one giving the orders, he still registered Shan as a higher threat.

Aenanu frowned as Sharar seemed to snap out of the android side of himself and commented about his way of handing information over. "I gave the information because they need to save her. They cannot save her without it. If we're the last of our species, and the only ones that successfully made it to another planet, that means we are the last of our kind. And that means you'll be the one needing to mate with my sister." Aenanu spoke fast in Xi to Sharar, turning hostile to the only other Xupra.

"Now you go and talk to them, help them with whatever they need. I'm going to my sister." He ordered before looking at Captain Thunder. "Tell them I am going to follow my sister and that Sharar will stay and help them with whatever they need."

With that, Aenanu started to follow his sister. He didn't care what they thought or wanted. He was going to stay by his sister's side.

Thunder threw up her hands and sighed heavily, considering how little she was getting paid for all this. It seemed like there was some sort of domestic dispute between the males, and then she got conflicting requests/orders. Great, what had she gotten herself into?

First, she turned to Aenanu,"Alright, I'm going to be coming with you guys so I can translate, so, uh..." She looked between each person, then back to the brother of the injured female,"Maybe it'd be best if all you guys stuck together, since I only have one earring, and I'm totally not trusting any of you guys with it."

She then looked back to Sich and shook her head,"You can do your questioning at the hospital or whatever. These guys need to stay all together, and the one guy was saying that they might be the last of their species. Plus...you are not going to deny me the chance to study these guys a little more. Have you ever met anything like these guys? Judging by the way you're staring at my wings,"She buzzed them for emphasis,"You haven't even seen someone like me, and my race isn't critically endangered."

With that, Thunder snapped her fingers, and turned on her heel to follow Aenanu and his sister.

Shan stared right back at Sharar, but not with the same fierceness that Sich presented the alien with. Where she glared, Shan shrank and returned with an awkward, shy wave. His eyes averted. "What's your deal, huh?" he mumbled to himself.

Sich's hands curled into fists. She let out a sigh. "Listen, we just don't know enough about these people to be able to tell what they might really be up to! I understand that this was a crash, accidental, desperate from the looks of it, and we're helping the injured woman, but we can't let these other two- one who seems particularly dangerous and is staring my friend down- access to a hospital with a bunch of helpless, sick people."

When she saw Aenanu walk off, attempting to follow his sister, and with Thunder in tow, Sich seethed. Shan put his hand on her shoulder, but she shrugged it off and whipped around to face him. She pointed to Sharar. "You take care of him and make sure he doesn't try to do anything. Get him to the Keep the team searching for anyone that might have been hurt in the crash. There are two more teams coming here now and they know what's going on. Just take care of things while I get to these people, alright?"

Shan peered at Sharar over Sich's shoulder with a shudder. "Uh...o-o-okay..."

Sich nodded, then ran out after Thunder and Aenanu. She whistled into the air with her fingers in her mouth. "Kaslane!" she cried out into the air.

In front of a busy intersection that the Scyphozoa and Aretu, transporting Essie, had crossed from the air. A great beast, partially resembling an oversized tiger crossed with a machine, with a tail longer than the length of its body, skidded to a stop before Aenanu and Thunder. It was taller than them both.

"You will not pass until Agent Karis has given you explicit permission."

Sharar's mouth quivered slightly when Sich pointed right into his face. The temptation to slap her hand away was strong, but luckily for everyone, he was able to control himself long enough for her to lower her finger. Still, he glared holes in the back of her head until she ran off to intercept his fellow Xupra and the other xeno who understood them.

In a moment, it had just become him and Shan. Sharar stared down at the man with a flat expression that was almost impossible to read. This is the dominant half of this planet? Sharar thought, referring to Shan. And it's our species that is practically extinct?

There was a long silence from the darker male as he thought, before turning on his heel and walking toward the wrecked Xupran rocket. He raised a hand and with two fingers, beckoned for Shan to follow.

Aenanu frowned as something stood in his way, stopping him from following his sister. He'd never seen anything like it and was not scared easily. So with that, he spoke, "you will not stop me from seeing my sister." Of course it was in Xi and he'd not understood what the animal had said, but he'd tried to get around it. He was going to follow his sister and he didn't care what these aliens said or wanted. He wasn't going to let them carry his sister away into the unknown.

When it wasn't as simple to just past, Aenanu turned back to the others, glaring. "Get this beast moving now!" He shouted in Xi. "I want to follow my sister. You aren't going to just take her away!" He growled once more in his native language. He was worried yet angry.

Captain Thunder openly rolled her eyes at all the activity, mumbling that she could have just flown past the overgrown robocat if she wanted to, and that they were all lucky she was so damn generous. The green woman turned on her heel again to face Sich again, switching modes to that of the friendly businesswoman.

"Alright, alright, clearly you folks are in need of a particular service, one that I can help you out with, thanks to my expansive set of skills, of course. So, how about we start talking price? I mean, I'm very generous, but now you're cutting into my personal time, and as is a universal truth: time is money. Now before you protest, I must say, my rates are quite affordable, though I do prefer cash, and to be paid by the hour. Of course I'll also require a small up front fee, and I have a contract of service right here."

With a flick of the wrist, she drew a neatly folded document, and offered it to Sich for reading. It was, of course, in Diflaecan, and as such, looked like a whole lot of gibberish in smooth, round, runes,"If you'd like, I can translate the document for you as well."

Despite the fact that Aenanu was openly upset, and by all rights, was justified in being so, Thunder refused to translate any further. If she was going to be detained, she was going to make it worth her time. She didn't take lightly to people blocking her studies, and her wrath was invoked by attacking the weak point of many: the pocketbook.

Shan moved toward Sharar with a gulp and a clench of his fists. The electric M-vial gloves he wore gave him some comfort, but for all he knew, Sharar was much more skilled. He absolutely did not doubt that he was more agile and powerful. After his accident...

With an audible, miserable groan, Shan made his way toward Sharar, as he had asked him to do, and inquired cautiously. "Ah, uh, y-yeah? What is it?"

_______

Sich crossed her arms authoritatively. Captain Thunder was right. Especially as an alien, Sich could not ask Thunder to just help them without anything in return. She needed her. With a frustrated sigh, Sich's features softened. She nodded toward the paper. "I will need it translated, and then I can send it to our mayor and let him know what you're doing for us. She glanced at Aenanu.

"You have to understand, though. We just need to check them and make sure they aren't going to be a threat. We'll let them go after that. You can trust us on that one. We Zanzarians aren't hostile people unless someone forces us to be. I don't want to jail any of you, I just want to make sure my own people will be okay."

Sharar climbed in through the "windshield" of the rocket, ignoring whatever it was Shan had said. Sharar understood that his actions may have been perceived as strange, but it was very clear neither one of them understood each other. What was the point of trying to talk to him? It was as if this other male lacked any kind of basic intelligence what so ever.

After some searching Sharar finally found what he was looking for: a small room labeled "Supplies" in Xi. The electronic lock on the door was fried, locked when the ship crashed. Sharar glared at it for a few moments, and soon he put his fist through it, wires sparking as the metal bent and gave way. The xupran then began to start tracing the wires with his eyes, grabbing a few and stripping them using the sharpest point on the metal housing.

Thunder nodded lightly,"Of course, of course, but by asking me to translate after this point, you will be accepting the contract on behalf of you people, so I'll have to have you sign this, this, aaaand this, if you please. They're just release forms stating that translator and client agree that the following provisions, in this case, this agreement of later discussion of terms, will be incorporated into the contract to which it will be attached upon translated draft and made a part thereof, said contract being a work agreement under universal commerce laws. The parties agree that the terms of this attachment prevail over the terms the terms of any other document relating to and a part of the contract in which this attachment is incorporated, that said, any terms of pricing shall be discussed upon the translated document which will be sent to all the applicable personnel. All work will be done in a competent and workmanlike fashion in accordance with applicable standards of the profession and all services are subject to final approval by the client prior to payment." She spoke very clearly, but also very quickly, all while producing another couple of papers as well as a pen,"You are entitled to up to five witnesses, and if a notary is available then it would be appreciated if they could lend their services as well." The document itself seemed to simply be a set of runes that could be read by anyone who could read, displaying itself in the reader's native language,"Obviously I'm not a spell caster, otherwise I would be able to write up the work agreement like this, but I did have these releases made for the sake of better business."

"... right..." Sich sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. Rrgh! How did she get into these kinds of situations!? Oh. Yeah. 'Head of Security' bullshit.

With a seething sigh, Sich grabbed the papers and signed as quickly as she could. The large ATW looked between them warily, but mostly kept her sights on Aenanu. After a few minutes, the security guard seemed to finish. She stuffed the papers toward Thunder. "Just let him know we gotta get him checked first, alright? His sister'll be fine! We wouldn't hurt tourists...or randomly crashed pregnant aliens who are injured!"

Sich glared at Aenanu, bottom lip sticking out. It wasn't a pout. It was rude. Or... it was supposed to be. "You're coming with me! Your friend, too!"

__________

Shan walked closer, stuttering, "Uh... um... what... what is this? I. Uh. I know you can't understand me, but you... do... get that I can't understand you too, right?" He paused when the man punched the metal, and gulped once more. "Uhm..."

His gloves sparked to life, but only briefly. He wasn't even sure if electricity would do anything to this man after all...

"What... is all of that? What are you doing?"

Sharar continued to ignore Shan, growing more and more in contempt of the man. He muttered something in Xi as he began sparking some wires off each other, causing the steel doors to slide open with a quiet hum.

Sharar then proceeded through the door where overhead lights flickered on and off repeatedly, following no set pattern. Sharar walked to the side of the room where they're were a few lockers. Prying them open he found each contained a satchel. He grabbed three, looping each over his head and letting the packs rest at his side, straps criss crossed over his chest. The pack he decided to own was on his right, the other two on his left.

From there, Sharar walked to the opposite end of the room where there was a large Trunk. Opening the trunk revealed a duffel bag, Which Sharar did not hesitate to also throw on, Carrying the bag similar to the satchels, except it rested on his back. The man did not cast a single glance at Shan as he worked, and once the supplies were gathered, Sharar exited the room without a word to head back towards the cockpit.

Once there, Sharar dug into the satchels retrieving two large earpieces that looked military in design. He attached a cord to one of the pieces and then connected it to the rocket's main computer, that was surprisingly still active. He did the same with the other before returning them to the satchel.

It was only then did sharar level a stare at Shan, face hard as stone. He pointed at the man, then to the computer. He repeated the action several times. Hoping he would get the point.

Aenanu wasn't listening to what was going on behind him. No, he was too busy trying to get around the thing that was stopping him from getting to his sister. He was getting more and more frustrated and angry the longer he was stopped and for a moment he moved his hand to his hip only to find nothing there. Of course, when the disease had hit them, the first thing they did was evacuate. They hadn't had time to go and look for their weapons or check the ships. They'd just taken off. All they had was what was already on the ship.

"I want my sister!" Aenanu finally turned around to the two beings that seemed to be native to the planet they were now on. "Take me to my sister now!"

He was angry and he wanted to get to his sister. He wasn't going to go any other direction other than where he'd seen them take his sister. He didn't listen to orders from women, no matter what planet they were on. With that, once more he tried to walk around the big animal that was currently stopping him from following any further.

Thunder smiled cheerfully and tucked the papers away neatly and turned on her heel to face Aenanu again. Man, she loved legitimate governments, they had nice clean money that spent oh so well. Now all she had to do is deal with the irate alien that was now shouting in her direction. Yeah, he seemed pretty ticked off, though if Thunder had found herself in the same situation, she would have been pretty pissed off too. She held her hands up in a disarming fashion, and kept her voice fairly calm and friendly,"Alright, alright, take it easy, okay? You sister is in good hands, and you'll be able to join her soon. These folks just need to know what happened. Clearly you guys are in trouble, and we just want to help. So you and your traveling companion just need to come answer some questions, alright?"

She didn't want to fight the guy, and he definitely seemed like he might attack if they upset him any more. Just in case, she made sure that she'd be able to go for her weapon if things went sour.
